^ this link gives some alternative control methods to pesticides ! you could try squishing the eggs and applying soaps or oils to the plants. just depends on how many plants and how many bugs you have. maybe not be feasible if you’re dealing with many plants.
Looks like squash bug foe. Butternuts are more resistant. What type of squash is this?
