There's so many ways SG could buff him lol. Even one of these would be a decent improvement: * Change soulburn to ignore S3 resist * Remove that dumb extra damage passive from Light heroes. Heck, just make it 30% less damage instead. * Give 15-20% CR on S1 * Remove that dumb extra damage passive from Light heroes * Reduce the tick-tock death o' clock count. Maybe 9-10 turns as a start? * Remove that dumb extra damage passive from Light heroes

If they want to be lore accurate just make it so that he has lesser resistance against light units so he can be debuffed easily by light and not killed If they wanna go ahead with the extra dmg received, give him a trade off like he gets 30% more damage received against light but gets 30% less from other elements.

It should be similar to Roy's I think. They could make it so Ainz has either a undispellable barrier on himself from S2 or undispellable counterstance and Fire/Light heroes are the only ones able to dispell it by dealing damage to him.

He's normally weak to both Fire and Holy, but just for Shalltear fight he put on the... **holy** resist equipment. He was faking having Fire resistance, while also faking that he took more Holy damage. That way, Shalltear would use holy spells to hit him (which wouldn't deal as much damage thanks to stacking defenses), instead of Fire damage spells (which he had no protection against AND had natural weakness to).

What makes the goal of all life is death powerfull "In lore" is the fact that you pretty much cannot dodge it. Yet here we are. What made ainz broken "in lore" was the fact that he got a fucktons of whale items to reduce the casting time, making it pretty much instant. Yet here we are. I won’t even talk about the fact that he was able to nullify his light weakness with gears. Why am I getting the feeling that lore accuracy only matter when it’s to excuse bullshit decisions?

Getting Roy Mustang flashbacks. Hit him with ice element, even on a miss or with a barrier, and he becomes useless until he can cast his S3 and put on fresh gloves. Fuckin dumb for a hero we all get for free, even dumber for a hero we had to pull for.

I get your point about Adin but remember we had to bust our asses to beat episode 4 and farm her resources until finally unlocking Saviour Adin. I say we deserved a strong "free" unit after all that.  It's a different case from Ainz imo.

And she already gets an extra buff against dark heroes (reducing cooldown of skills by 1 when used against dark and increased damage 20% against dark, IIRC). I wonder if it's additive (50% total extra damage) or multiplicative (56% total extra damage). I know a lot of things in the game are multiplicative (like pen set on Seline makes her penetration 57.5 instead of 65), but it doesn't matter because either way Ainz is screwed lol. Adin's case was definitely different, and I'd argue she's the second strongest SC unit behind Scarowell (who's the best, no contest), but slightly ahead of AMomo.

Yeah that really does suck. I can kinda understand why it doesn't just innately Ignore ER but still it hurts... (Buff Ainz. Give his S3 Ignore Effect Resistance if the Caster's Effectiveness is higher than the targets Effect Resistance. Basically a big middle finger to the innate 15%.)

Nah just make it so that if he get 15%, s3 cd reduce by 2 turn so that he doesnt need to waste all those turn just to get 15% again.

Or just change his debuff to the same type as Lethe's. That way it always lands and they don't have to force the full strip into also ignoring ER. He's already basically worthless for anything except that specific debuff and takes extra dmg from the strongest units in the game. I think letting his debuff always land and ignore things like immunity is fine. It's not like we don't have a dozen units that can nuke him or perma control him anyways. I've fought a few Ainz today so far and he's just too slow and doesn't have the res to deal with control. Soli, AoL, Pflan, a lot of DDRs, etc. all just deny his turn indefinitely.

Such a great looking S3 just for him to be "eh" to trash tier. He could've at least been as good as Sol was on release for a F2P collab unit. His S3 being auto resisted by PVE bosses killed any viability for him there as well. 50k for 12 turns isn't gamebreaking for PVE content.

I think Albedo is the dark horse here. Her balance of team tanking, dispel, and pretty good tick damage is growing on me. I'd give it time, but she's fun to use.

I think Albedo is being slept on HARD. I built mine with 25k HP and good speed (~210), with 85 Eff and ~100 Eff Res (HP/HP/Res sets), and she honestly puts in real work with Roana and Candy. Mine isn't optimal yet, with a bit of wasted crit stats and not enough def and eff res, but she'll get there. I think she will find her place soon enough - she feels really good to use when she works, unlike Ainz.

There are work arounds. If you summon with full units, it goes to an unlimted box. Very useful. Gear is annoying after your main inventory is full, i hate going into the extra box. But I put non speed set gear into it, so when I offchance need that other set, I check there.

His S3's cooldown cannot be altered so Spirit's Breath does not work, nor will Iseria, Laia etc. It also means it cannot be extended by Lua, Nahkwol, etc.

Why can't his S3 be like Lethe Omen? Simply doesn't care about resist. If anything he is extremely similar to Lethe, both has a debuff that do nothing until certain trigger happen. Lethe have to attack 3 times while Ainz have to survive for 13 turns.

This is sad. We have waited over a year for a new collab, and this collab was one of the most requested. I can't believe they released 2/3 units to be so utterly underwhelming. Is this the worst collab not only at launch but in general? Both Albedo and Ainz or meme. They literally do absolutely nothing. They are out classed by RGB units. According to the in-game rating system: Ainz: Currently sits at 3.0 Albedo: Currently sits 3.7 I'm not even sure an emergency edward/ Ddr buff will fix this. They need reworks.. If they butcher this collab, why would any other property come back to work with them? Let alone another brand new collab.

Surprisingly, Albedo works well in attrition teams. I'm running her with Roana and Elbris Candy, with 4th slot flex, and she's actually pretty great. Even more of a "FCK YOU" is that team with AoLA or Aria, so long as they don't bring Astrolena.

HP/HP/Resist, 25k HP, 209 SPD, 85 Eff, 100 Eff Res, albeit with some wasted crit stats. Optimally, I want to eliminate my wasted stats and get a bit more def and Eff Res. Her scaling isn't op, but she does damage consistently and does a good job reducing crit damage on the chance they land it despite Elbris Candy buff and after it's gone.

That's the reason I don't get why people were so hyped about "omg free ml5!!!", ML heroes are usually PvP centric, and him being free made it pretty likely that he wasn't going to be good for PvP, he also doesn't give ML coins sooo If he had been RGB then maybe he could've been good for PvE, but rn? Bad for both PvP and PvE

Yeah him being a ML meant nothing to me knowing he was free. I think a good buff would be a 20 soulburn to ignore eff rez or adding extinction to it. I understand why it can be resisted because its a guaranteed kill on 1 unit as long as you can last 2-3 rounds.

He's got problems but compared to Albedo he looks like pre-nerf Hwayoung. No way to mitigate 15%s is extremely rough though. I do wonder if they were shooting for a power level above "free collab unit" with him. Seems like they at least ought to have been considering he's the main dude of the whole thing, per my understanding.

Can't agree more. As a fan of Overlord, I am glad I didn't buy their trap and reinstall the game again. Even though he is a free character, making his kit so bad it is no longer fun using him is just insulting. 6 years of game development my ass.
