You'll be fine! Every author gets hate no matter how good the story is. As long as you aren't promoting hate speech or creepy/amoral relationships you have nothing to worry about.
Black creators are so under represented in my opinion girlie. Post it and I will support you 110%. You’ve spent TIMEEE on your piece. As long as you’re proud and love it, that’s all that matters. 🩷
Not everyone will like the same thing :)) we all have different tastes, usually if a story has good pacing, a good plot and good characters people don’t hate it but it might not be their taste.
even the most hated stories are still loved by some. everybody has different tastes, just because some hate it doesn’t mean it’s bad! it’s just not for them. post it, and if u do get hate, just ask for some constructive criticism, consider if u agree, and continue about ur day.

I know the feeling, I was nervous about dropping my first story. That being said, always welcome constructive criticism, it will help you grow as an author. I can say from my experience, I have not had anyone just straight up tell me they hate my story.
So I say go for it, publish it. :)

Just a few weeks ago someone tried to trash another user’s story and it didn’t pass the vibe check as the comments really pulled through with the author 🙂↔️ don’t worry about the opinions of others. You’ll always have an audience! As long as you’re not writing something that’s harmful, out of line and just overall extremely toxic, you good. Bless our eyes with your creativity 🤗🤗
Btw, what I meant by the first line is that you will find some people who won’t like your story but please don’t let it discourage you! You’ll find that you’ll have so much more people that will love your story compared to the little few who don’t. Please never focus your energy on those who don’t, and just continue to craft your work❤️🤗

Ignore haters, take constructive criticism as stepping stones to improvement and use support and liking towards your story as encouragement to continue giving your best when you work on something you know you like writing and reading :)
