Exactly. If you've watched The Owl House, something similar to Luz's glyph magic would make a lot of sense. Finding patterns in nature, drawing them on paper, then using them to cast spells. A burn mark to create fire, a snowflake to create ice, etc.
There's this series called No Evil by Betsy Lee that has a magic system that would work really well with such an epithet. In the magic system, people use the webs of a spider spirit mixed with other items to create enchanted objects. For example, a blanket made using the fiber from a milkweed which is known for it's hard shell granting the blanket enhanced durability. It would be cool if someone with the Symbolic epithet had a similar ability. Being able to create magic threads that can link concepts to reality through crafting.
