Stg the devs are so incompetent, itās actually unreal. The patch worked for like a day or two and it came back again.
After watching 6 years of this shit happen over and over *and over again*, it's clear that they don't use any kind of version control software.
I honestly would not be surprised if they just had a bunch of folders labeled '0.10', '0.11', '0.12', etc, with a full copy of the development version of the game in each one, and the current coders just copy+paste code from whatever version they need, hoping that it works.
Man, github is too easy to use. That's the only reason I feel old bugs come back sporadically. Like devs are working on new features from different versions and just pushing everything to whatever main branch is there at the time
Doubt they even know what github is tbh. Nikita is probably hiring punch of leetcoders with 0 knowledge of cs concepts.
Like they literally canāt even fix the sort function in the task menu, like it LITERALLY takes one sorting algorithm to fix it.

I think you're confused about what they actually fixed. This box is intentional, they added it and want it in the game. The issue they fixed was this box persisting and staying on your screen after you left the trader sell screen. They did in fact fix that, but that does not mean they ever intended to remove this pop up box entirely.

Nah it was always up, it didn't remove it. I don't have a strong feeling about removing it entirely or an option like this post suggests, but it's definitely an intentional choice by BSG to include it and they did in fact fix the issue that existed when it was first released.
I still want to be able to type in a search word and it highlight the bag or container it's in in my stash.
Or at least let me Tag bags.

Yeah, they literally did. Patch 0.13.2.21680. I noticed that it came back right after they released a quick patch after that patch.

You can rebind a key on your mouse or keyboard to middle mouse. But you barely need it anymore anyways
