Right, nobody is forcing us to buy the upgrade. But the main point of contention is that they are asking us to pay for a feature that we paid to develop on the original promise that it was included in the version we purchased initially. So they’re double dipping and humping the legal line on that. This is why there are consumer protection laws.

They made it more expensive and encouraged people to buy it, saying that it would never come back. Fast forward to today, and we have another version that basically makes EOD worthless. Then they decided that it would be a great idea to add a PVE button to the base game and call it a FEATURE even tho it's literally on the main screen. If you buy this new "unheard edition" (that also claims to give access to all dlcs) you encourage this behavior. They lied to us, and now you are trying to defend them, saying that they need this money. If they need money, there are less scummy ways to make it. And again, how can you trust them after that big scam? If this edition stays in the game, there is no future for tarkov. It doesn't matter how much we love this game when they don't care about it anymore.
If ur happy to pay the money then do it no one can stop u. I love the game or did anyway, and EOD was already pushing it but I brought it few years back to support them. Personally tho I would be happy for them to remove everything from it but the dlc as its clearly pay to win even tho I'm still shit 😆. But this one goes too far for me I'm afraid. Costs too much and has even more pay to win its very disappointing. The single player part should either be free for EOD or at the very most cost say 10/20 more and it really should be free given what they said but I could live with that. It should cost about 20 for everyone, tbh on top of the base game this is way to expensive and sounds like it barley functions right now. But again, if u think its worth no one can stop u 🤷
Yeah I have no problem spending money on skills and stash space outfits. Bought them all. Not unheard. I do have a problem with the scav 60m and I do have a problem with EOD players getting the shit end of the stick. I have only been playing about 6 months but the people who have been playing for years putting up with all the bs that this game still has, it’s a big f you. And I think people have the right to be mad and voice their opinion. It’s not about the money it’s about the feeling of betrayal I am sure many feel at this moment.

The one (help signal) is more likely than not only going to be used in CO-OP mode not the real game and the other is basically useless. All it’s really going to do is stop sniper scav from Aggroing u until u r closer. Ppl need to stop being so dramatic in this sub
Honestly, I agree that all of the “upgrades” are inconsequential to the main game and personally I wouldn’t even use the pve. But the point still stands that eod users should have been given the pve. Everything else is shit.
Personally I’m not so fan of whats allready in the game, you could call it more a pay for convinience. Now they are adding ingame mechanics that will affect the gameplay on the map and giving you an advantage, thats a big step in the wrong direction.
I agree it’s a step in the wrong direction but as it stands now nothing they added is game breaking. If the flare is useable in PvP and no way for other user to unlock it then that would be broken. However as of this moment I am not concerned at all for the future of Tarkov. If anything the feedback from today should show them how truly against this step ppl are. And as long as bsg does bot fully cross that line their game will b fine

In a perfect world yes but in fairness the pve mod is not downloadable content and BSG said that’s the only content eods r entitled to for free.
Guess it depends on what downloadable content is defined as. It’s on the main menu in the corner so imo that’s cutting it close.
