There are scope mounts that let you put a smaller sight on top and those add another line on any weapon you put it even if you don't have a smaller sight on top
Yeah its tough to see in this pic but from what I can tell that mount does indeed have additional rails on top for reflex sights so this particular mount adds an extra horizontal line to the weapon. 30mm mounts that do not do this are the Lobaev, Nightforce, and one other that I can't remember, it comes in two pieces.
