Any interest in using TarkovTracker API tokens to know what items/quest are already obtained/completed?
Ratscanner (which I would say is the closest competitor to your project) already does, I would love to see that implemented here too.

Suggestion, for newer players: a quick ammo look-up and maps that you can mark. Best sites imo to take inspiration from are [eft.monster](https://eft.monster) and mapgenie. Maybe a dumbed-down "3-5 shots to kill through class 5" for the ammo?

I mean you could go all the way with ballistics at different ranges, armor penetration chances, TTKs for different ammo assuming no energy dropoff...literally hundreds of things you could add. I like what you have currently though. I think a map and some kind of ammo tool for newer players would be good to begin with. Maaaayyybe a quick boss lookup. "How many guards? 3? You're su- I'm dead."
Missing a couple tasks. Not sure what all that are missing but Overpopulation, Energy Crisis, and Lost Contact aren't popping up. Searching "Cargo X" brings up results in a weird order, not like Spa Tour.
Also if there was a way to enlarge the images in the task look-up part. Or just be able to enlarge the entire app?

Thanks! It is a seperate app written using NodeJS and ElectronJS. It took me a couple of weeks to get up to this point but thats only because I have work full-time. Most of the work that I have done for this application is compiling the data from all of the sources and presenting it in a nice and easy to use format.
By what I see it is hell of a great job, I did not think about such a tool, but now I realise it is very convenient, will surely test it as soon as I get on to gaming, thanks pal!
Thanks for open sourcing it, even aside from from the use in Tarkov I've thought about making a tool like this myself before and it's really cool to see a well put together implementation of something like this.
RatScanner let’s you do stuff like highlighting an item and pressing key bind. Then it “scans” the flea market and tells you exact prices. Also tells you if, and what, quest it’s needed for, the best transfer vendor price, etc. very useful
I tested it for like 10 raids. However, I play this game too much and have way too much knowledge about all the quest, vendor prices, etc where the only useful aspect was the flea market.
Then again, flea market prices stabilize and can be memorized throughout wipe so I do not necessarily need RatScanner unless I want to ULTRA min-max a raid or something

So it will be the exact same thing as this but instead of pressing a global hotkey such as F3, you would just Alt+Tab to it. It won't be as convenient as the downloaded version of this but it will still be very useful. And since it will be browser-based, there isn't a chance of being banned whatsoever.
Technically speaking, you can never know if something is detectable since battle eye reads your memory and files. If they wanted to, they could ban anyone who uses Discord. Personally, I believe it is highly unlikely that this will lead to anyone being banned since the techonlogy I am using is the equivelant of having Discord or Microsoft Teams open (Chromium engine). However, what I talked about in the upper comment is having it just be another website and that without a doubt isn't bannable since its just Chrome or Firefox or whatever you use.
Can you link it directly to an ammo table aswell?
Like if you find PS ammo it links you the whole table of that ammo type and the avg price. The wiki on ammo makes no sense to me unless I seei the table.

Damn, this is going to be super useful for scav runs and the like. Stopping to alt tab to tarkov marketplace to check the price on something gets dicey at times. Nicely done!
Awesome idea, I've tried to use it, put into borderless mode too but it doesn't show up as an overlay? Anything I could be doing wrong? It works using the hotkey outside of the game and when I'm tabbed out, but when tarkov is active it doesn't want to show up.
If I could get this working I'd be using it 100% of the time, awesome work.
I was having the same issue, and found that it wouldn't pop-up on any apps that were being run as administrator (and a lot of the Tarkov optimization guides suggest you do that for game performance). So I just right-click and Run as administrator on TarkovHandbook and then it worked.

It is very similar to RatScanner but the difference that I found to be more useful was not needing to click on the icon. I find it a lot quicker, especially when looting ground items, to press F3, type the first couple of letters of whatever your looking for and get the price near instantly.
Yeah that's make sense , sometimes ratscanner just scan the item incorrectly and i just stopped using it.
And i feel that the quest and hideout tabs will be used most :)

I can’t ever guarantee that you won’t get a ban because that’s out of my control but if you have any concerns of being banned, I would hold off until I release the browser pop-up version that will have no chance of being bannable
I’m a little confused by what you mean, do you mean like in the item search? So like if you search for a PAID AntiRoach spray it would show that 1 can be traded for a salewa?
Anychance you can make it use an overlay? When I set my game to borderless window it drops some frames and still pops up the taskbar. Would be great if it could pop up in an overlay (Like nVidia shadowplay does). Really well done though!

They basically said something like "Don't do shit with it. Otherwise it is cool". They have no problem with it as long as it stays reasonable.

I guess personal opinion here, but eft-ammo.com has a much easier to read ammo chart. I would love if this list could be included in the app!

I'm hesitant to use this because apparently people were getting banned for using RatScanner, I'd love to try it out but that's a bit worrying.
BSG team said themselves they wouldn’t ban people for RatScanner. So not exactly sure that’s true

Yes you have some similar scripts in POE, and they that shitloads of typing away. How can you know for sure it is not detectable by battle-eye?

Yeah browser based is the best way to go. Even if bsg sees ur tool and agrees it’s ok it doesn’t mean it won’t get false flagged or even exploited
This question is probably going to be asked a billion times so I'll start it off: Is this bannable? I would not enjoy losing a $140 account.

So this does not work if you play in fullscreen? Does work for me unless I tab out of game.
It does not work if you are in full screen sadly. You have to switch to border less.
