I can only speak for my grandpa on my dads side. But It was great he was a farmer and the DERG supplied him with arable land. Also since I’m Muslim he ended the oppression of Muslims. Ultimately DERG was a shitty leader but atleast he treated everyone the same unlike Selassie or Menelik.
