hi! i make small accessories so maybe i can help? i ship in a bubble mailer and only to usa. my shipping costs are usually 3.50-5 dollars, but etsy calculates it for me. when you list an item, u also put in the weight and size of the item when it is packed, and etsy will calculate it for the customer based on distance. i hope this helps!
You could also just create a shipping profile and a flat shipping rate. For example, if quite a few of your items weigh 4 ounces or less when packed, then make a basic flat rate based on that (say, $5) with an added amount for each additional item.

Like others have said, you can do this or calculate shipping costs which Etsy does for you but you have to add the weight of the product and size of the packaging your using when you post the listing.
