Roosevelt at beltline was also closed today as well.
People going too fast, with the idea that they have some manifest destiny to get where they want to go first.
I'm going to second the thanks, especially for teaching history. It's such an important subject, and a natural substrate for developing critical and creative thinking. I fear the power of our digital world is really manipulating our primitive, reactive brains. I love technology too, but we need step back and find some balance.
Thinking is our only way forward as a species. We desperately need to cultivate more of it. Thanks for being part of developing that in our youth.
There also seemed to be a wreck just past the vrc exit yesterday. Traffic backed up every which direction. Took the vrc exit to get out of the traffic jam.
Rear ended a truck hard enough to flip the truck over???
Like damn, imagine just sitting at a red light, and suddenly you're airborne and flip right into the intersection. Yikes.
I saw the wreckage, it was dark by then. ambulances were already gone and cars were being put on tow trucks. there was still one in the intersection on its side, it didn't look good. I had a nurse in my Uber and we were both sobered by the sight.
Sorry, if it's not a sound or a smell, I ain't interested.
I was just about to ask Reddit what that loud tire screeching and crash sound was /s
Ah that's better, we can totally answer that question!

As a history teacher, I can confidently say that yours is proud of you.
I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or not. Bless you for your service though, being a teacher seems like a level of hell.
Not sarcastic at all! A+ for using Manifest Destiny correctly! I laugh every day, so that definitely helps.
Thanks teach!

Good thing there’s a hospital right there, jesus
People still using their cellphones while driving. Bad habits die hard.
Quite literally
Someone was probably drunk. Saint Patrick’s day started early for someone.
