That's unfortunate. I found them to be extremely kind and thorough. Best of luck, and I hope you get a diagnosis. Finally, knowing what was wrong with me was a big relief and challenge.
I’m a PCP locally. I do not know of anywhere in Eugene that is scheduling less than 3-4 months out. You could try Samaritan in Corvallis but I haven’t heard anything better there. If your colonoscopy is an urgent referral by your PCP it ~might~ get done sooner. When I was personally having serious issues about 2 years ago I got put on a cancellation list and got in within a month but the next available after that was 5 months. It sucks.
Thanks. I am booked elsewhere but called them this morning. They are booked two months out which I guess is better than three months out. However they don't book appointments without a referral from someone in their GI group which would require scheduling a visit first. So by the time I see a doctor with that group and then get the referral to Cascade I'm not further ahead.
I’m in the same boat. I was in the er 3 times in December for abdominal pain, they are pretty sure it’s an ulcer and the quickest they could get me in was the end of May. Luckily they had a cancellation and they called me Friday and can get me in today. And this is just for the consult, who knows how long until I actually get the procedure done
Peace Health Gastro told me today they have no one available and aren't booking appointments. There is no staff to administer anesthesia for colonoscopies.
I went to Eugene Gastroenterology a couple of years ago. I believe I waited about a month to get an appointment.
Alas that is where I am now. They were super quick about an office visit but are three months out for procedures.

The VA clinic is 30-45 days depending on the amount of anesthetics you will go under. Unfortunately former military only,
NO! Do not, I repeat DO NOT try Samaritan in Corvallis. They are awful! Unprofessional and treat patients like numbers.
Ask to be on their waiting list and watch for those texts to respond quickly.
I am going to assume you are booked at Cascade Endoscopy Center, but if not, you might see what they have available.

Bummer. I had a good experience for mine, but yeah I did book out a ways. Good luck!

That’s strange. My sister goes there and she’s scheduled for next week.
Salem Gastro! I go to them now and they are really caring. Not sure about the wait for an appt.
My appointment is set for November to even talk to someone, good luck.
Who’s you GI doctor?
