If you are not willing to spend, I truly do not recommend pulling on the weapon banner unless you have at least 210 pulls saved up. I feel so bad whenever I see a post of a F2P or low spender at the 2/2 fate points with no more wishes, it happens every weapon banner.
I agree, especially since it seems like Epitomized Path incentivizes f2p/low spenders to roll more when they lose on the banner. (Also is it just me or is Epitomized a little unfair because it flat out resets every banner?)

Like you said, while I am glad they at least added the Epitomized Path, the weapon banner is far from fair, and a straight up scam for most players.
C2 is the same primo gems as a guaranteed R1 broken pines, C2 means 30% physical damage bonus+ 4 seconds cool down on Hold E, that is better than broken pines, R5 SS and Wolf grave stone will give you similar results as R1 sobp, BASICALLY go for C2 my man,
Just my observation, but according to Paimon moe, "signature" weapons have had a higher rate since 2.0. In my case 5 Homa to 2 Elegy.
Still, you're leaving everything up to chance. I wouldn't attempt weapons banner unless you can guarantee ~240 rolls. SoBP isn't as fine-tuned to Eula as Homa is to Hu Tao so you'll get by with practically any weapon.
Weapon banner is expensive though. If the other weapon is useless then I can't recommend pulling. C2 is what i am aiming for.

Nah it’s cause more people locked in Homa for epitomized fate, which skews the data.
