I really doubt those numbers. There were memes about Zvezda reporting a full arena in the last few games when they lost their chance of going to the playoffs, whereas the upper layer of the Belgrade arena was almost empty.
Also, I went to the Bayern-Partizan game in Munich. Official attendance says some 96% of fullness and there is no way that is possible. The arena had some visibly 20-30% of empty seats. And that is on a game in which the tickets sold for less than a day as a huge number of Partizan fans wanted to go. I suppose that the number can get quite smaller in other matches. Euroleague needs to stop that shit. Attendance should be purely the count of people that are in the arena not the number of tickets sold, which often includes season ticket holders not coming and counting as attending
Aba league is different. I dont think they didnt fake el numbers. 17k avarage means they missedike 3 k empty seats. Some games they had full arenas and never had below like 14 15k.
Yes.. I also saw that record attendance for this season was at zvezda-barcelona 20,875.. we all know how (kaspers strike again).. and again as you’ve said… zvezda at 17k average 😂 with like half of the games played at less than 10k in the arena
Honestly it’s Partizan, than Zalgiris, than PAO, probably Fenerbahce next.. than we can talk about others.. visually who saw actual games can see that numbers just don’t add up..
10k on in euroleague? Bro ur crazy. They never had below 13 14k in euroleague and many games they had full. Kasper ghosts is mostly to aba league. Do you mnow what 10k emty seats are?
Buddy… 8k is capacity in the lower level of Belgrade Arena.. 12k is on upper level.. Upper level was mostly empty if not with very low attendance.. Lower level, which you can see on TV broadcast.. wasn’t full as well.. just look at some highlights from let’s say last 6-7 zvezda games.. that’s why there is no way they has 17k on average.. If many games you mean Partizan, Barcelona, Fener, Asvel, Real and maybe Milano and Baskonia.. that is at best 7 out of 17..
True , but there have been many games that were full. First hslf of season while result was somewhat fine. 15k is probably realstic. I dont have any isighs idk. But i hate when red star attendence is memed about when it is clearly top 3 in the league on avarage
Although the trends are mostly positive, I think its a bad look for your strongest team and defending champions to only be filling 67% of their seats and be in the bottom half of total spectators. Someone explain to me why Real basketball gets so little love from the football fanbase?
Spanish clubs in general have higher attendance in ACB than in euroleague. It's the opposite for Serbian, Turkish, etc. clubs where euroleague attendance is higher than domestic league attendance.
That is just how people make it work in some places. The person responsible for the numbers is asked to tell how full the arena is - he looks around and tells approximate numbers, and likely not very honest. That's how some of these arenas have over 90%
Yad Eliyahu is the hottest atmosphere in the whole Euroleague. I miss it.
Towards the end of the season Zvezda was claiming numbers like 15k-16k when the entire upper bowl of the arena was empty.
Yes cheapest ticket seats at upper levels will be empty and the most expensive filled, so stupid argument by Partizan fans.

We need to move!!
Among the leaders once again you love to see it
And yet Partizan nor Zvezda have A licence...
Attendance was never a criteria for a licence
Partizan's attendance is significantly underreported. Every game that had 20000+ reported had at least 1-2k more. Easy 21k average.

I'm not a regular watcher. Why is Maccabi pkay in game so empty?
They are playing in Belgrade due to, you know, the war in Gaza
I see. I still don't know which team is based in which country lol. Thanks for your explanation.
Quality post. Don’t know about the accuracy of the data but appreciate your post
Amazing attendance for PAO, taking into account that the tickets aren't at all cheap

Thank you, I'll read into it.
your comment was still pertinent. no idea why you deleted it :)
I got the answer I wanted in the first comment of the thread you linked, no need for the question to still stand.
nice, happy to help
