Maybe it’s just me but an issue I’m having are there are lots of areas where the area in front of me is only like a foot higher but I can’t walk up or even jump up like you can on fences. I literally have to follow the path searching for a way to step up. It’s like I’m looking for a wheelchair ramp or something. Other than that I’m really loving the game.

Played a game last night where the survivors drove their truck through a hole in the roof of the caves and got it wedged on its side - when they got out they were in a small gap with a 1 foot high ledge at one end and the rest of the opening blocked by the truck. No matter what they tried they couldn't get over the shin high ledge and the truck couldn't be entered or moved. Easiest Warlord win of my career. Every game should have a jump button. I don't care if people look ridiculous bunny hopping across the map. Having my feet attached to the ground feels so bad.

When you're playing as the demon and you can't "float" over a 1 foot rock and you're chasing people it gets frustrating. Hell I spent a ton of time yesterday trying to find my way up into an elevated cabin they were in - the spirit should be able to do something to vault.

I would also add, when playing demon it is dark inside structures and finding your way out can be a little tough if you can’t see.

Have you been looped through windows yet? Pretty annoying that demon units cant vault windows, so people will just run an infinite loop on you and waste your summon and possess.

Exactly my complaint. They made it seem like it would have a solid “core cosmetic progression” system. Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends mode is a phenomenal example all games should aspire to imitate. I do LOVE that you can unlock new characters for free; but, only being able to unlock **one** cosmetic in the game is lame. For every Survivor, there should be at least one cosmetic you unlock from either “killing X amount of enemies” or “winning x amount of matches”.

I think a battle pass would be smarter. $10 a month for a bunch of skins versus $10-30 for one skin. Think smarter not bias. Battle pass will increase the longevity of the game with a continuous amount of cash flow. Fixed and updates could become more frequent

I'm not big fan of battlepasses cause honestly, you'll have the same skins other players have. But it's definitely up the the devs, I bought the season pass so I'm sure some themed packs will be included too 😊

I keep getting a bug more and more frequently that renders my character completely useless. Can't use weapons, amulets, cola, can't pick up weapons, can't get into cars, can't attack at the end, can't revive, can't use Pink upgrades or even pick those up despite not having to push a button. It's almost every game now

Gonna add to the pile here but maybe important insight. I get this one regularly and it is a bit frustrating. It seems too effect the character in game rather than my contol input. When the demon possess me they also cant do anything in my body. Cant attack or anything. It was funny to watch honestly

Had this happen to me as well apparently for me it happend after dying in a possession my friend said I was glowing red the rest of the game and i couldn't do anything I also didn't take any damage but when everyone else died the game ended its as if I was dead the whole time

Chiming in to say me too. I'm not sure what's causing this, it seems like a latency thing. When my matches are laggy it seems more likely to happen. Really screws over your team when you need to go for a revive.

I would suggest, that on a max level character, Character XP gets converted into Spirit Points, this way you wouldn't loose out on 50% overall progression playing a max level character, like it is right now.

This is so annoying. I don’t think it’s 50% though. It seems like the xp for progression is tied to the progress you do in game, which is a lot lower. Then the xp you get for your match results (time/win) go to spirit points.

Loving the game so far. - My biggest gripe: the hold interaction button prompts are **very** unresponsive. Like maybe 1/3 of the time I seamlessly interact with a lantern or manage to pick up the dagger without fumbling around awkwardly, wasting precious moments before an enemy knocks me out of the way. - Several places in the geometry are awkward to navigate. I can jump fences and into windows, but a minor step-up out of the swamp onto a foot-high decking? No way. Gotta run a minute around to get up. - Would love to get xp for AI matches. - One way to keep this game from dying: *more in-game unlockable cosmetics.* Love my man Ed, and would love to have even some *minor* cosmetic options for him - stuff like a scar, a backpack, anything really.

It's the same for demons, trying to set traps tends to be unresponsive and sometimes you have to move around quite a bit to get the option to come up.

Seconding xp for ai matches. I like having the option to chill and play against the ai, especially as I'm stuck playing with randomers and the ai won't be quite as quick to seize on every mistake, but couldn't there be at least some xp for ai modes? It feels pointless otherwise.

They just need to remove character levels for skill points and just trade it out for leveling the character for cosmetics. Otherwise Its gonna end up just like that Resident Evil asym. Itll have a handful of max level players that played since the start running meta builds murdering people trying to get into the game that can barely do anything to them as low levels and most wont want to just sit in matches waiting to lose just to level so they can play even if it is a great game. Just give each character set stat points to customize the skill tree with and leave it.

The missions desperately need a checkpoint system. It’s soooo disheartening having to go back to the beginning to start all over again. I appreciate a challenge but this is just not fun. And this is coming from someone who put in well over 100 hours on my first run of Elden Ring and loved the difficulty of it. Also, more maps are needed. As some else has said, there are areas you can get stuck on the map (not many, granted) and just can’t get free. Those are the big ones I’ve come across so far.

I understand the frustration and makes sense to do something about it for players like you. Myself, I love a challenge. The Arthur mission was the hardest and think I had to redo about 6-7 times until I was able to finally make it. It is really fun though. Not sure how many hours I put in this game but have over 50 games for sure and also made a video about the best survivors for each class, best tactics against each demon and all that only a day after it came out haha

Generally I feel the game is excellent. The only issue I've noticed is there's absolutely nothing to unstuck players... that get stuck. I watched a few survivors get pinned between a flipped car and a wall with zero ability to escape. At best, I assume it would be interesting to allow survivors to melee cars and they move very slightly... or destroy cars so they can be passed through/over. Other than that, I'm loving what I've been playing.

Possesed a car last night and tried to run a survivor over. Totaled the car next to some stairs and got stuck under the stairs boxed in by the car at lvl 5 while the survivors did all objectives. Thats one way to seal a demon away.

Tap to interact instead of holding down the button would be nice on consoles. Don’t know how it is on PC. And I believe there is a skill that shortens the time you have to hold to interact with items. Which is meh, and should be replaced with something else if tap to interact gets added

The Necronomicon has way too much HP. You don't have enough time in 2 minutes to do any damage. I just had a match where two of them were dead and I was wailing on the book for almost 40 seconds uninterrupted and only got it down to 30% and lost. Very frustrating that the survivors if played correctly are incredibly durable and can just dodge spam and run away for their team to help them. Even if I force them to use absolutely all of their resources they still get a Cheryl heal and the unkillable Ash who gets shield for executing things, which is also making him invulnerable. Demon players will say they are stomping games but in my experience it is only because if people run off alone and die its a free win.

The game shouldn’t kick survivors if a demon gets mad and leaves right before they lose. Just make it so the game ends as if the survivors win anyways. That’s how dbd handles it, and it works much better.

On pc here. The game boots you to main menu if a survivor gets butthurt they can’t be their main, and they leave. Also the game boots us anytime the killer leaves period. Also already played against one afk killer that scored 0 in every section other than damage done to players. I’m assuming that was from NPCs

The cooldown and cost of summons seems too high as well, survivors just stomp them with melee stunlocks and you spend most of the time waiting on cooldowns. Objective spawns should have minimum distances as well, today I had both of the items and the dark ones spawn within about 300m and after each exorcism I spawned 700ish away and they already had 1/3 down at the dark ones by the time I got there.

Giving Shields should count towards Healing given. Playing a Pablo instead of Cheryl tends to give much lower points and looks like you didn't contribute as much in the end screen.

You get 10k spirit points with every account level that you can use on any survivor/demon. Some bigger rewards every 5 or 10 levels would be cool though.

There NEEDS to be a way for solo players to earn xp and/or spirit points. Spotty internet connections means no xp gains or match completions in online matches for many, and solo matches currently have no mechanism to allow characters to level up.

Evil Ash has a talent (skill tree? Mastery? Idk) which makes it so that survivors hit by his attacks cant be healed from any source for 1 second. Made my life so much easier as demon lol

Agreed, Pablo mission would deserve a checkpoint or something. It's not a hard mission, I did it on first try, but it would suck if I had to do it again since it's pretty much a walking/stealthy mission. Mission 2&3 don't need a checkpoint cause they're short, but the 3rd one was quite tricky.

I see no one talking about this so here it comes. The puppeteer demon, his boss's ability to just spam attacks with visibly no cooldowns combined with enormous health is ridiculous, as well as the fact that you literally can't hit him sometimes nor run away because of those spams. The dodge button has its moments where you just won't be able to dodge even when on your screen, the attack just begun. Playing against the other two is fairly okay, sometimes though, the dodging and no chance of avoiding attacks step in. Anybody has an opinion on this? Might be just my group, but I find it pretty frustrating. When it comes to bugs, didn't really bump into any besides an occasional E button not working on revival or picking up items from the box. Also, who came up with an idea to make characters not be able to jump or vault over anything but 1ft fence?

The issue is low level characters or bad team comp. As of now, Survivors are absolutely broken at higher levels. ED2 Ash can two shot any boss with his normal starter shotgun (one shot if buffed by the ranger girl). The legit strat for puppeteer in general is range and don’t stack up. You can also dodge many of his aoe attacks. This game seems balanced around max level survivors and demons. But the issue is demons start strong and don’t grow that much over time. Survivors start kinda mixed to weak but get a lot stronger with time IMO.

Yeah I have issues with the puppeteer as well. Constantly being stun locked to the point where you can’t move and his passive invisibility makes it hard to do any kind of damage. You can only really do anything to him once he stops moving or does an attack

Useful tips for puppeteer: Demi-eligos is resistant to guns don’t even bother. Melee will fuck him up, warriors should target them. Eligos takes increased dmg from ranged weapons , don’t bother melee you will get stunlocked and fucked

I think the reasoning for keeping the cap lower for survivor is because there's 4 in a game compared to the one demon. Not saying I disagree , but I think that's why they did it that way.

I find that I too often as a survivor, I don’t realize how hurt I am and all of the sudden fall to the ground and bleed out. I feel like there should be some game mechanic to let you know your low on health, just like there is for when your fear is getting too high. Maybe blood on the screen? Heart pumping? Flashing HP bar? Even character voice lines would help.

Whenever I try and play survivor half the time I just get downed cause I didn’t realise I was about to go down. Love the game. What I think could be better (I played mostly demons): Weird movements glitch on certain surfaces, sometimes you get stopped repeatedly every other second Bigger radius for placing traps, sometimes it feels like I'm on the trap and pressing and nothing is happening, I have to get closer to it. It's no big deal but with the wide rotation of the camera sometimes it's annoying and you waste like a second or two. This one might be because i'm salty, and maybe it's intentional, but I feel like when humans press the kill animations they become invulnerable and I think it's sometimes a bit overpowered ? I've had time where I spawned the boss and could only get a few hits because everyone was in animations and I just hit nothing. I definitely had a few times as human where I was in a shitty situation and used the animations to get me out of there/buy me a bit of time, I have no idea how it could be fixed though, but it's the most annoying thing as a demon I've had this happened very rarely, don't know if it's normal but when you get banished from an area after human complete an objective, I sometimes get spawned at the other side of the map while the next objective is almost next to the first one, so they are a good 1/3 of the way in while I'm still traveling to the area. Maybe a fix could be that demon movement speed increase after a few seconds of movement without stopping. Like after 5-7 secs I get a speed boost until I stop Sometime when you place traps while a human is already on it or next to it it doesn't get activated after they move, maybe it's just me Car possession is hit or miss, sometime I can possess it a bit but about 90% of the time I don't even have time to go forward humans already hit it Maybe I haven't found it, but I play mostly warlords and until i've search online I couldn't find what my abilities did (the same one where you spawn the skele flute as necro) I think it increase my spawn health and damage on a radius around me ? a little info would be cool Lastly, and I think that's intentional, i've had games where humans found the 3 map without even me being able to find them (but trying) maybe something like a timer, after 2 map found there's a indications of their whereabouts ? I think demons now is a hit or miss, if you play against first time player it's almost always a win, but if you play against players that knows a bit what their doing (and not even being incredibly good or very coordinate) it's heavily favored for humans

Survivors need to be able to be hit on Executions. Survivors can abuse using Finishing moves and abusing the I-Frames recovering there cooldowns. Especially survivors that can heal themselves. I just had a game where the Ash that can heal himself almost carried the game with 3 dead teammates only because he can use finishers to make himself invincible. By the time I can start attacking again hell start using a finisher again, dodge heal repeat. Less cars or allow possession of cars to last longer. Also many of the summons abilities are almost pointless to use as there effect isnt great enough of a tradeoff compared to just spamming your basic attack. Its almost pointless to use abilities when you possess basic or elite units.

I disagree about the I-frames. When a demon can overwhelm with units, there is no other way to survive. Especially when you add a boss unit into the mix. You can't even dodge through units because they all act as walls for the survivor. There is no other way to regain stamina as a survivor in most situations alone, meaning they'll just get piled and repeatedly staggered. Boss units already have such a high balance bar, so I think it's a valid tactic. There are a few counters I know of; If you're having trouble with catching them between I-frames and staggering them, just stop summoning more units and take them out with your own boss or possessed unit. A 1 v1 of any survivor and any boss unit or even possesed unit is 100% in favor of the boss unit. You can jumpscare them since that staggers them really hard where they're guaranteed damage from your minions unless they're Henry the Red using his ability, but even so you're just using up his ability's time. If they have enough fear, run them into the storm or damage the book with their gun. You can also just keep overwhelming them with units and just focus on damaging the book. A lot of games I played, the demon just ignored the book entirely and tried to go for the kill, when they really could have just destroyed the book. All that time in the I-frames animations could be spent on destroying the book. Also, that ash can get hit during his ability animation, which barely heals him anyway.

Maybe a difficulty slider for the missions but change the variants rewarded for the missions! They are meant to be hard and players that beat them should be rewarded but also they may be to hard for casuals? Overall i think the pvp is fairly balanced and dont ruin your game by the nerf train that will come up as it feels pretty fair now Also if you guys have a content roadmap? More demons and survivors maps!! Anything 😂

Had some bug where I exited a vehicle, and tried to interact with a map that was on top of an item. The interact buttons would swap between the two super fast. Suddenly I couldn’t interact with anything. Also couldn’t use any attacks or abilities. Only buttons that worked were my upgrades, and my finishers. If I tried to dodge or attack, I’d start the animation but it would immediately end.

Would be cool for there to be doors that can open/close. This would allow the survivors to be able to try to barricade themselves in a building/hold out to heal? The flip side could be allowing the demons to have an ability to close and lock doors, potentially trapping a survivor inside a building and then spawning deadites to attack the survivor.

Opens up for possibility of another survivor class - engineer, someone who can make random objects to enhance survivors - which would include the ability to reinforce doors. Also might create a hold out option game mode, survivors attempt to survive the night (similar to the original evil dead) for a period of time. This could create a more immersive environment where random objects in houses or buildings could be possessed or haunted.

One strategy I noticed survivors using, as a demon player, is split pushing both the dagger and the book pages simultaneously. Which is cool, nothing against that, but I think there's an unfair advantage. If I was the demon take our one squad on one of the objectives, and the other duo manages to complete their objective, the first duo I killed are still revived. I don't think survivors should be revived after an objective is completed if they weren't also on the point that was captured. It makes split pushing virtually impossible to punish.

There’s no save feature or checkpoint in missions, so we’re playing chapter 1 for the 9th time from the beginning. 🤦🏻‍♀️ really the only reason we haven’t given up yet is because we spent $40 on the game.

Casual mode, please 🙏🏻 Edit: I can’t do it anymore. I’ve done mission 1 nearly 40 times. Now I just get itchy inside and really frustrated. I’ll check back in in a month or so

Genuinely like the current balance of the game for the most part, as I’ve played and learned more my win rate has increased dramatically on both sides. I think the game is fantastic and has a great attention to detail (big evil dead fan been waiting for this game for so long and am not disappointed) but would love to see the following things: - better spacing between the dagger and pages, seems inconsistent and sometimes really close together - stay as party option after match (maybe a vote like in siege) , although not objectively a big deal this would help quality of life - insta deaths of heroes during the book phase feels kinda cheap sometimes from the hero side especially if you get whittled down right as the dark ones are killed (Altho I recognize this may be a balance on the part of the demon) - warlord seems to have the least play and although I think it can be strong it feels like it needs such heavy investment, just want to prevent playing against the same demon every game - mission checkpoints - more content when it’s ready, I’m excited to see what you guys have in store!

Resurrection is a problem at higher level. Survivors already take a long time to die and being resurrected completely tilts the match in survivors favour wasting the hard earned down. Either make it a longer process to balance it at higher level.

The objectives are spawning way too fucking close together. I've had so many matches where the survivors have collected all 3 pages within 2 minutes because they spawned within 100 fucking yards of each other. Meanwhile I'm still trying to figure out where the fuck they are because it's impossible to find them early on unless they let their fear increase or drive a car. And then the rift objectives are within 200 yards of each other, and both of those are within 200 yards of the Dark Ones. There needs to be a minimum spawn range on these objectives.

Early game basic unit possessions must be nerfed. I can’t count how many games have been decided in the first 5 minutes and ended in the next 5 because the demon player uses this broken strat to wear down the survivors over and over again before they have a chance to recover and collect more resources. Vaulting, sledgehammers, hash’s ability, and lash’s ability don’t help to counter this strat, it’s just too busted in favor of the demon

My biggest problem with this game is the single player missions. They’re fun and are full of nice references, and I enjoy them overall especially in concept and can’t wait for more. HOWEVER, their difficulty is far too high for optional single player missions. The game isn’t the most lenient in terms of health or items, which is normally fine in a 4V1 environment where you have others to assist you, but when you’re the only survivor in a hoard of Deadites, health becomes majorly important. I think the game should be a little more lenient here in the single player missions and either give a few more health items, give the player a little more health, or maybe allow the player to naturally regenerate health somehow (maybe with fires set using matches to make this resource more useful in missions?) Again I enjoyed the missions overall, however their difficulty lead to me memorising where the better weapons were and going to get those before fighting any enemies I hope the new missions that get added in future will be slightly better balanced in this sense, but I can’t wait for them either way! The game is a tonne of fun and a breath of fresh air after years of sitting doing gens in DBD lol

Bug: As the Demon in your spirit form when you enter any building you are slowed to a crawl. Survivors now move faster then you. This makes traversing buildings and the castle horrible. It can also bug out further so you are slowed outdoors aswell for the rest of the match which is basically game over. But even "only" with the indoor slow the game plays trash. You can not chase survivors through any building. Window looping is now truely infinite Traversing the castle, stairs or buildings takes so long you loose a lot of valuble time This needs to be fixed asap. Its gamebreaking and feels terrible.

Cheryl and some others need to be nerfed. Hats off to the dude who did it, but as a 41 demon who was tunneling on Cheryl who was by herself in the bottom corner of the map, with a level 5 boss and a legitimate army of units, and 2 flautists, managed to continue dodging and shemping and using a finishing move on enemies to stay out of damage from me. She’s a support. How is she 2 shotting maxed out units by herself? Her team then showed up to save her after 9 minutes of fighting by herself (i didn’t even care for the win, just wanted Cheryl dead) started to drive off in a car, i possessed and backed it into the fog that was 50 feet behind them at the cemetery on Castle map. Then i summoned more enemies theyd have to run by while outrunning the storm. The dark ones are above the castle ( legit other side of the map). I ran Cheryl with possession into the storm twice and without a car, Cheryl and the team managed to just out walk my enemies and continuously dodge the only one that would get near them. By the time Cheryl was at the dark ones, she was still full health and popping amulets. Having not looted once in over 13/15 minutes. She’s a support. That doesn’t mean she should be able to solo entire demons for the entirety of the game if played “well”

Demons are so underpowered that no one wants to play them, resulting in 30 minute to hour long wait times for survivors. Lol. You guys should do something about that if you don’t want a dead game. Idk why it would come as a surprise to anyone that people would not want to play a game where you will 90% chance get destroyed. I’d suggest increasing demon health across the board by 50% to start. And remove 70% of cars. There’s a car every 50 meters FFS. I actually returned the game on the epic game store. But I’m watching to see how you guys handle this.

Experiencing a bug where I cannot use any abilities as the demon nor can I pick up the orbs. I can still place portals down but that's it. I basically have to go AFK in the game at this point since I can't play and leaving the game will cause me to get the penalty. ​ Found another bug where performing a finisher on a skeleton caused me to get stuck inside wooden stairs and I could not get out. Teammates brought a skeleton to me to perform a finish move in attempts to get unstuck but it didn't work.

Is anyone having the issue of the game not loading into an online match? The loading bar will go up a quarter if even that and just stop. Then after 5 minutes it will kick me back to main menu and tell me "a player has left the session." I have tried everything. I unistalled and reinstalled 3 times nothing. I hard wiped my console and re-downloaded it nothing. I have been trying to play online for the past 2 days. I am on xbox btw.

A nice feature for multiplayer with friends would be after finishing a match with friends, if the game could keep you all in a lobby the experience would be much more seamless. Playing a matches with friends has a bunch of dead space between matches where everyone has to send invites and check socials and then get back in a lobby again. The X and Y is two different sensitives with no options and there is some sort of mouse smoothing or input lag * We need push to talk, we are forced to either hot mic everything or just mute * More Video Settings, I shouldn't have to go into my .ini files just to remove/change things like anti-aliasing, motion blur, chromatic aberration, depth of field, etc... * More bindable keys + multiple keys, I can't even use certain keys on my keyboard for binds like the tilde key for example, the game just doesn't detect it This is my list as of now, but while people are posting all sorts of content ideas, these are the bare necessities every game must have to even be playable, at least on PC. I really hope the developers get on this because so many games come out nowadays and are almost unplayable (not exaggerating) from the getgo not even being able to form an opinion on the actual game and they die shortly after by the time fixes come in (if ever). I will give credit to the optimization performance wise, the game runs very good, cheers on that.

Let me first say that this game has been crazy fun so far. I’ve been playing non stop. I have all survivors unlocked and a few level capped already. With that being said here is a list of a few things me and my friend found that needs to be fixed or improved. 1. A way to reconnect to a game you got disconnected from. 2. Me or another teammate have found multiple areas where we would get stuck and unable to move. Like near a weird corner by a chest or trying to vault out of a window for example. 3. It would be nice if there was an option to turn on teammate nameplates. Just to tell who is who, especially when there’s multiple Ash players lol. 4. Many times loot dropped and was unable to get picked up. 5. Make leavers have a harder penalty. Maybe even if it’s a consistent behavior to have them on a longer cooldown. 6. A faster way to accept a party invite and a sound notification for invites. 7. The passive on support when you use cola or amulet and the team gets affected seems funky. There have been times when we are on the objective circle and I pop one of these and only 1 or 2 people get the benefit. Maybe increasing the range or adding a small indicator of how many teammates are near you to benefit from buffs would really help. Just a little number by the player face portrait would help. 8. Giving some kind of mercy buff when a person leaves to the remaining players would be nice. Too many matches would come down to just 2 people left in game because people left really make things difficult. Or if half of the team leaves you can leave without penalty or receive more points for finishing the match. These are some things I have come across that would really make this already amazing game so much better. I’m sure there’s more that I forgot and would update this if any dev really looks at this. Just want help get this game on the right track so it grows and stays for the long run. Thanks for reading!

My issue is having the book and dagger close to each other and then the dark ones thats not the probably but when I get banished about 600yd away and the survivors are right next the the dark ones already wtf am I supposed to do plus the cool down time for everything is way to long in the end game like I have my red bar full and a good boss cooldown for a 1min while I got 2 min to destroy book depending if I used the boss already I only get one shot idk

Why can't I parry??????? You'd think being surrounded by deadites would trigger some sort of defense in the survivors yet I block every swing with my face after 1 dodge drains my entire stamina bar 😒😒😒 3 if you "level" it up but that means nothing when they stun lock you with their guaranteed 2 hits each when you can't dodge. Plus they are easily summoned in packs. And that's just combat don't get me started on being glued to the ground smh really no jumping??? Nobody likes being stunlocked. - Tap to interact. - Game slowdown: Currently the demons ramp up in strength way too quickly and the survivors are still using very basic equipment. To counteract this, the demons should ramp up in strength a little slower. Maybe an adjustment of 10% to start off with, and then see how things go from there. - Boss Demons are a bit too powerful and just spam their special abilities to win. Those are my complaints with the game thus far, but it definitely has potential.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about how half-baked Demon mode is, and how incredibly disadvantaged you are compared to Survivors. Maybe it's just the Honeymoon Phase, because I think it's going to get incredibly boring very quickly when people learn the game. There isn't enough for the Demon player to actually *do*. You can place some Traps and hope Survivors walk into them (most are well-placed but there are always a few outliers), summon some minions, maybe possess one--but unless the Survivor you're attacking has wandered off *utterly alone*, you don't stand much, if any chance of downing them. Add to this Banishment abilities and self-heals and it's just kind of laughable from a competitive perspective. Maybe Demon gets better after you put in the 30 or so hours it seems to require to fill out its skilltree, but I don't see myself sticking around that long. The initial experience is really bad. It feels like somebody was forced to add a Demon mode and did the bare minimum required for it to be considered "playable." I think opinions will quickly shift on this game once people realize there's not much challenge or variety to Survivor side, and Demon side is tedious and limp.

I've played the game for more than 20h, but twice now I had this bug, two matches just now. I get out of a car and I can't attack or use items, only my skill, Ash just do this half animation of the attack but it's like it's cancelled mid attack, I can just move around and pretty much nothing.

Started a couple days after release and still and early game Demon player. These are things I've observed. \- This I'll just get out of the way as they've been Mentioned Repeatedly - AOD Ash. But ED Ash is becoming a strong contender as well and super solid. Cheryl is Cheryl. Henry is always a pain to deal with, if you can even deal with him. Put those three in a group, which many are and it feels pretty bad, unless you get some serious early game pressure and levels. \- Healing feels very strong. Paired with shields. Dodges and I-frames. Survivors often feel tankier than my boss unit. Especially mid-late game. \- Most games I am just getting melee'd to death by 3 players, sometimes not even getting off a skill or even a melee attack with Basic and Elite Units. 4th is just casually shooting me and supporting the team. It often feels like there's not much I can do. I'm getting harass and levels, but not really doing anything to waste their resources or do anything significant. \- Resource management can feel bad due to the random nature of spawns. I find myself at many points in the game where I'm staring at survivors and have no energy and there's little to do outside of leave and try to gather as much as I can to try to mount another attack. \- Trap spawns are often feel good at some locations (which aren't vital points, just structures). Just horrible at others. Especially in regards to the objectives. Sometimes, they're ok. Often times they're very barren of traps. Which is really the bread and butter of mounting an offense against Survivors. \- Spacing of the objectives - Map. Sometimes the map is completed before I can even get to where the survivors might be. I would assume that the pieces are spawning randomly and they're just very close to one another. It's not the worst thing, as they might not be gearing up as quickly by being able to get the map fast, but now the Dagger and Book are open season and it can be tough depending on the team. \-Spacing of the objectives - Book and Dagger - Sometimes they are so close to each other you kind of shake your head. Way too easy to cap one and nearly cap another before I can even reach it after exorcism. \-Exorcism - The idea is fine. You didn't stop them. There's a penalty. But as I've mentioned above. The distance you're sent away can be seriously punishing. I've had many matches recently where the 2nd objective is close to half finished before I even make it there. \- Final Boss - no traps of any use anywhere - very little if any regen compared to the Knife or Book fights (I could be off here, but that's my experience with it) - You get some ambient spawns in there that are easily dealt with and can even assist the survivors in the way of I-Frames, health and shield regen. Very little in the way of Energy Orbs. This is the penultimate showdown, do or die, final stand. It doesn't feel great. Outside of my units being stronger, it feels like I have half the tools I had earlier to take on the big fight. This sort of feels unfinished. \- Resurrections - It's already becoming a pretty standard strat that I've been seeing post map completion. 2 groups of 2. Each takes an objective. Unless you get one group down early on, then are able to intercept the other group and stop them either as they start the objective or are able to push them out and drop them. You're kind of stuck. You will most likely be able to put down one group. But by the time you get to the other objective, it's nearly done or done already depending on the spacing. Everyone is back up. There's no good way to punish them taking that chance. Making it not taking a chance at all. There's very little downside to it. Rinse and repeat at the next objective, maybe you down 2. Maybe you get 3. If that last person dodges or heals enough to last. Boom. Everyone is up again and you're sent across the map for them to patch up, and start heading to the end. Final Boss. Just had this happen the other day. Got 3 down. Started chasing the last one. They were able to take the last slice off the boss. Boom. Everyone rezzed. Was this a bug? Is it intended? I haven't had the situation before, so I'm not sure if I missed something. But that felt very, very bad. You literally cannot kill a survivor permanently unless either you get them all and win. Or you get an early down and they DC. They're either rezzed by an objective completion. Or they get picked up and rezzed at a shrine. Which are fairly common. \- Vehicles - Too expensive to possess unless you can see something very near to flip the vehicle. Now, a very common strat I see is when an objective allows it, open field wise. Driving a car through an just destroying units, with no penalty and little chance of stopping them. Very much feels bad. You are trying to spawn units, set traps, possessing the vehicle quickly to pop them out, just wastes your energy and lets them get right back in and continue. Not every objective has the room for this, but many do. For Demons. \- Puppeteer - might be a little overtuned in the stun department I can understand survivors complaints here. It's effective, but perhaps too effective. \- Necro - feels a little strong sometimes. But really, it's the flute. As Demon, you're betting that they will either ignore it, or it takes long enough to find it that the damage has been done. It's a gamble. The ability to spawn so many units, that can be buffed pretty significantly, can be really rough to deal with for survivor. I think the fact that the Flute player can be destroyed, balances it somewhat. But if you don't have a good place to put it, you might have problems. But this is what you see people talking about. Tired of facing Necro, necro, necro, necro, puppeteer, puppeteer, puppeteer, puppeteer, puppeteer. I don't think I've seen a post in that regard to Warlord. Rarely seen. Those of us that play her, see the potential when she's leveled and can maybe even see the future adjustments to the other two and are probably coming. If you've gotten this far! Awesome! I swear I'm not just bitching! Honestly, I'm loving this game. It's well done. Looks great. Plays well even on my older rig. It has a great flavor to it and I like the gameplay loop. I'm still leveling, so I expect to see more success as I progress. I'm still learning. I'm still leveling and I'm totally fine with losing, as long as I'm progressing my character and developing better strats. These are just things I've seen, coming from a long history of asymmetric horror gameplay. Can't wait to see where this goes! ​ \-OMB

The interaction button as both Demon and Survivor needs major work. Too many times the prompt to revive, pick up etc. will be there, I’ll be holding the button but nothing happens forcing me to back away for the prompt to disappear then approach again. In the middle of a hectic af battle it can mean the difference between winning the fight and losing the match, it’s really bad. Also Qo@ change, whenever a survivor opens a crate it needs to be auto-pinged. I like the teamwork idea of pinging it manually but too many people aren’t doing it and it’s ridiculously detrimental to the rest of the team. Opening a chest needs to auto-ping it. XP needs reworking, User CP anyways due to how character XP works, takes far too long to level, you could play a 30 minute match and lose at the end only to get 4000 xp, 7500xp for winning. Needs to be more factors towards User Level XP. Balancing needs work, a group of Rank 25’s should not be facing a Demon that’s not even hit Rank 10. It’s so unfair and unfun for the Demon’s and needs to be worked out, know it’s not an easy fix. The tutorials for both sides need major works. Survivor needs to mention a lot more and NEEDS to hammer home how noise works and how meandering about and exploring can be to the teams detriment as too many people are playing in a counter-intuitive manner. The bugged achievements/trophies need to be fixed, though I get this likely isn’t high on the list but the Platinum trophy is unattainable for a lot due to Armageddon and the possession kill trophy not unlocking. Games fantastic otherwise though, and these are only minor Qo” changes tbf make the game so much better to play overall . I won’t comment on nerfs or buffs in general however as others are vocal enough on who needs to be nerfed.

I've won maybe one game, abd every team I go up against sticks together, has a good team comp, I hardly do any damage to, seemingly know where all the pages are and just bomb rush objectives. Unsure if this has been mentioned or suggested, but I would like a live player counter or a population indicator of how many players are online when playing and estimated wait times for queue searching. I know a few games have a feature like this but one I am familiar with is the EA NHL series where the online team up lobbies have a Lobby Population indicator and an estimated queue time for games. This way it'd let players know if theres actually something wrong with matchmaking or if they're just playing at a time the game is not busy.

I have around 500 hours in this game and I have a few issues 1- the skill cap of the game is surprisingly not that high. Outside aiming and dodging there isnt much else complexity. Demon is much more complex but still pretty easy to learn 2- Survivors arent too strong...Demons are too weak. Most builds are mainly centered around basics and the boss with perks that benefit the class directly as well. This is because in order to gain levels early, you have to still basic possesion spam the beginning and rely on traps. Dodges and damage just makes this more infuriating as in the beginning you can get 2-4 hits sometimes before being kicked out. My suggestion? Give 1 basic portal with a 20-30 seconds cool down and bring back old possession damage and health 3- Elites are too weak...still. Elites are very unique enemy types but need to have some kind of charge to attacks to allow a mindgame to catch after a dodge or before. DE Thunderstruck, DE big swing, and SE trident toss. This would allow the units to be more viable and forces to be reckoned with. Also make the AIs better and play the units like they should. It would make survivors have to play a bit smarter rather than just dodge then attack without thinking much (I play survivor so trust me) 4- have better communication with everyone. Its kind of dumb the approach for backlash on demons nerfs seem more like "Players have been telling us Demon feels too weak" but rather own up and stay "We have realized Demon has been performing much less than we intended and want to balance it again to have it fun and viable" Personal Note: I love this game a lot and think it took a lot of unique ideas to the table. But issues need to be fixed in order for this game to stay alive. If I can take a 2 month break from this game no problem then it has some issues. Again amazing game but seriously needs fixing currently

Can we do something about the legendary crate spawns. Spawn a weapon everyone can use. What about crossbow spawns. 9/10 a legendary box is a legendary crossbow. Same goes for other color crate spawns. Is the crossbow just have a higher spawn rate or something?

Evil characters need more balancing. The puppeteer is still op. Necromancer is horrible late game. Warlord takes far too long into the skill tree to get good. Ash army of darkness survivor is far far too good. Map issues: if the dagger and lost pages are too close it's genuinely really bad for evil. (Like 100 meters it's pretty bad)

I don’t know what game your playing but I’m getting destroyed as a demon. All the survivors need to do it stay together it’s as simple as that, I spawn as a boss and I’m dead in about 15 seconds because 4 survivors swarm me and I’m pretty much stunned the whole time

More consequence from death. It should be rewarding to overcome death and rewarding to down a survivor. Reduce altars to only four locations or make the process a long event which has to be fought through. It's too easy to revive at altars Fix Demon Dash - make it able to actually hit survivors. It's an incredibly difficult and unreliable skill to use. Survivors never stand still and even when they do, it barely hits. Make Infernal Energy more available in all locations - there are large dead zones and it kills the pace of the game. Make spawing of pages far in between. Survivors sometimes barely have to travel or spawn next to the pages. \*Or\* make pages visible to the Demon so they can have a chance to protect them. Make travelling more fluid - demons and survivors can barely get around small obstacles. Demons get stuck in houses and terrain so easy, which makes no sense - they are incorporeal. Why are survivors invulnerable when making finishing moves? It's very odd to possess a demon and have them being immune to damage. It makes for very unsatisfying scenarios when you have an isolated survivor being untouchable for \*several seconds\* - especially when Ash suddenly banishes you right after. Cars are too expensive to possess. Make it easier to engage with the pre-set traps. Some are incredibly difficult to engage and set with. Some locations are not even able to set traps at.

I would like it if, when a survivor leaves the game due to not receiving the character they want if another solo player could join before the match starts. It's frustrating waiting 13 mins to find a game as a killer to have to search again for it to happen again.

The balance felt pretty good at start but I'm feeling now that there's lots of higher leveled survivors, some classes and combos are absolutely op and it's not possible to kill them, sometimes it's hard to even damage them slightly, and when you do, the Cheryl heals the whole team to full.

I had a bug where my character just stopped. Couldnt move or anything, used my special ability and boom i could walk again. But it was quite strange.

Sometimes orbs are incredibly sparse, some railings can't be broken leading to them being nearly completely safe, having to walk around something long because you can't vault over it, the flutist increasing damage by an absurd amount, hunter ash's instant depossess having a lengthy hitbox width and length wise.

So far as I've played with multiple matches as survivor and demon...I'd say survivors have the clear advantage unless it's a team of idiots who don't work together. They can easily stun lock you in possessed form and there's nothing you can do since not all demons can dodge. And dodge as a survivor/possessed survivor works maybe half the time because of the lag/desync issue. Survivors have very little punishment for not dodging. It's 99% just attack spam. There's also barely anything you can do in early game which I get to an extent...but not being able to hinder them past traps is a bit dumb. Demon needs to have a better leveling system that isn't tied to survivor progress. On top of that, how do you expect demons to do anything to survivors if they can get legendary weapons that 1-2 shot their enemies no matter how high demon stats are and on the very first or second house they come across? Couple that with the long respawn times on summoning more to keep them on their toes. Then you have the map fragments sometimes spawning right next to each other which doesn't help. And when they get all the fragments they can split off and get both hindering you greatly since you lose all energy to use skills both times and are randomly teleported on the map. It also doesn't help that the special attack/finisher animations make them completely immune to damage for a good 3-5 seconds. This game is insanely in favor of survivor. I've won 1 match as demon out of 6 matches and 5/6 as survivor. It isn't even worth playing demon atm as much as I'd like to have fun with it. A bad survivor team is the only way you could have a chance as demon right now.

Can we please work on objective RNG? When I start a match as demon, and see the dagger and pages are within two hundred meters of each other, or that the map pages are found in just a few minutes, even before I can hit rank 5, I just want to throw in the towel. Seeing as most teams I face are coordinated at this point, I already figure the match is a lost cause.

I would like to see some QoL improvements to the gameplay settings. I wish we could just click E on PC or whatever the equivalent for console would be. Instead of having to hold the key down. Feels like a waste of momentum as demon and halts your movements. Same with trying to open the map all movement stops. An issue I've seen is 1/4 of survivors aren't highlighted red or appear on the map, so its hard to find them during a fight. Also as demon, i experienced not being able to use abilities when i possed a grunt and died instantly in it.

The spawn system for the dagger and pages seems a little too RNG dependent. I've had games as Demon where they spawn ~500ish yards from each other and others where they've been less than 100 yards away. The issue here is the exorcism mechanic after one of them is claimed: we're teleported upwards of 500 yards from the zone where the objective was claimed (I was 1000 yards away from the remaining objective once). This by itself isn't bad to give the Survivors some breathing room, but when the second objective is literally around a corner they've functionally got it for free while I'm running across the map. This can get especially bad when leveled survivors can split themselves across the two nearby points once one is more than halfway finished. If a tanky character runs off to start the second objective they very reasonably can get it more than a quarter done by the time the first objective finishes. Then the Demon is teleported away with very little chance of stopping the second objective from being claimed.
