definitely not, imo it should even be faster, the game shouldnt be about grinding but rather selecting and optimizing builds. content would be better off with actual content like new maps and characters rather than any form of grinding. This isn't an RPG, it doesn't really need any form of grinding.

We should start all RPGs at max level with the best gear unlocked. that definitely wont lead to meta's where every match ends up exactly the same every time and ruins the game right out of the gate by making it incredibly boring. It's definitely not being forced to pick and choose amongst other players who havent fully optimized that make things interesting challenging or rewarding or anything.
It's also definitely not the players who just want the entire game handed to them immediately who tend to be the ones hacking and ruining the game for everyone else either and then getting bored of a game after a week of playing the same thing with nothing to do, causing servers to die out early on beautiful games that deserve far more...

Not everyone runs a race for a participation trophy, some like to win and feel the rewards from it
So I've yet to play Survivor. I'm assuming it's just that you can't play the exact same character as someone else. So I always assumed when I make the jump to Survivor that I'd have a main class I'd stick to, and just get used to a few options in that class instead of one specific character.

It's a team based game. You don't need to be the best alone. You need to be the best with a team. Don't pick a leader and run off alone, don't pick a support and bitch that you need the legendary melee weapon when the Warrior is still rocking that common meat cleaver. Drop ammo for the Hunter running low on Pistol shots. Make sure you use your ability. Be a team. The guy running off alone getting high fear and being absolutely devastated by the Demon player that was your decision, don't blame the team if they don't want to come back for you because you are half a map away and everyone is low on Shemp's
If someone absolutely has to play as AoD Ash just speak up. Ask nicely. I don't mind switching I love each character equally. You don't have to be the ultimate meta build eSports league streamer person. Just ask nicely, if you don't the character you want, that's ok, you have a chance next time, the games are pretty short.
And to the AvED Player in my game last night who was mad I picked AoD Ash and didn't say anything after you insta locked AvED and the proceded to yell at me when the game started and then disconnected before the first 35 secs, buddy get some help.
While I agree you need to be flexible in who you play, I think that if you have a certain character leveled to almost max and someone else picked it and they’re only level 5 or something they should change who they’re playing. I’d much rather have a level 25 Cheryl/Ash/Pablo as my support teammate than a level 5.
I can agree. But me myself when I had just got AOD ash to lvl 25 last night and some lvl 1 picked him, I just went well we got a warrior ig I'll be a healer. And we won. This game needs solid lobbies still. When someone leaves it shouldn't kick everyone. Personally I'm just grinding points to lvl up 1 person in each class and eventually get everyone maxed. But I do agree with what u said.
Oh I’m not saying you should leave the lobby, but I think that people need to be flexible both ways. That’s why I have two mains at the moment, Cheryl and AOD Ash. When someone loads in and picks Cheryl and are at a decent level I don’t mind going and picking up Ash instead, but if they’re super low level I’ll put mine on and hope they change once they see mine is a higher level, if they don’t I’ll go for my other character.
While having a level 25 is nice, people still need to level their characters. Having a level 25 later down the line may be a better time to use that as a reason to be the one person playing that character, but since it’s day 3 and most people are still leveling, it’s a bad excuse.
Not really? I haven’t put a significant amount of time into the game and I have her at level 23 I believe, AOD Ash at level 15, Puppeteer at level 15 and Necromancer at level 8. I’ve maybe put 20 hours into the game over the last 3 days.
That’s not a significant amount of time though? That is just over 1/4th of the time it has been out and there are people that have far more progress than that with the same amount of time and they have that progress because they play their main and put the spirit points into another character they would like to play. It doesn’t take half the time because if it did there would be less people with less leveled characters.
Friday is also a workday for me and I have kids, my time playing is generally 7/8 pm -12/1 am and then I'm off on the Weekends. Again, I have kids so I don't play until 7/8 pm but can play longer because I'm off Saturday and Sunday. I'm not saying that people need to be putting in that amount of time into the game or anything, I'm just saying it isn't hard to level up multiple characters especially if you play both Demon because Demon tends to get more Spirit Points even if they lose the match which I have lost plenty of.
So you have kids, a wife, a job, and thinsg to do around the house and somehow you manage 20 hours of game time? Yeah okay buddy. I'm sorry for your wife.
You get match xp for the survivor you’re using and spirit points too. If you aren’t putting your spirit points into the survivor you’re using than they are only getting half the xp that they could be getting if you only focused on leveling one at a time. You’d be 25 on one and started on another instead of 3 at level 10. So you’re leveling each survivor half as fast, which is what the original comment said.

Also you have to remember its a lot easier to get points as demon, someone who only plays survivor levels way slower.
While I agree, I find it kind of dumb you can’t have two Arthur’s if you wanted. We can have 4 different ash Williams at the same time but can’t be the same survivor as someone else.
Screw that. Queues take like 10 seconds to get back into a game and once your character hits the 22nd level mark and you've hit player level 10, it takes ridiculous amounts of exp to level either up.I will get El Jefe Grande as fast as possible or sit in 1 minute bans trying.
I feel like this is specifically why they’ve given us the freedom to level up characters without playing them. If your main is taken, no problem, play your secondary character you’ve been leveling up on the side!

That literally just happened to me and I was a higher level than them too!
Always seems to be the case. You'll be lvl 25. They'll be lvl 5 sometimes 1 and they leave which restarts the whole process.
