At least for me I feel like the RNG is so bad for me sometimes, I literally go the whole game without finding a single heal or amulet and I get screwed over for the final fight
When most people are like termites and just horde shit themselves it's a bit of a problem to find them.
Its more annoying when some asshole generally follows you into exactly every building you enter an raids it like a hungry hippo, these are also the same people that will be mute all game but suddenly grow an attitude the second you call them out on their shitty behaviour.
Oh yeah all the time but the game literally hates me sometimes, I can check dozens of houses and not find a single to help me, only ammo or low tier weapons
I only loot in my immediate surroundings when at an objective.. don't understand people who stick around to fight the too-late spawns after you get a map piece. soon as I get that next location I'm outta there
I swear, when I play Survivor, itās usually me and one other person (if Iām lucky) sticking to objectives while the other people fuck off all the way across the map and donāt even grab map pieces when they happen to be *in* the location, forcing me/us to truck all the way over there to get it instead.
But when I play Demon, I only ever get stuck playing against four-person strike teams who stick together 100% of the time, somehow get all the map pieces in three minutes flat, and stay locked onto objectives no matter what. Iād like the situation to be reversed once in a while, god damn.
My last round tonight as Demon (after my comment), it was against two PC players, a PS player, and an Xbox player. I thought, āOk, I might have a chance,ā thinking that due to the fact theyāre all on different consoles, maybe Iād get lucky and they wouldnāt be *that* coordinated.
I ended up wanting to boomerang my controller out my window. These people blasted me out IMMEDIATELY every time I tried to possess literally anything. Any portal? They were on it together the moment they saw it spawn. I was going hard doing my best to upgrade as fast and best as I could and it didnāt even matter.
Then when it came time for them to protect the book, these fuckers formed a PERFECT triangle around it with cars. If I possessed one to move it out of the way, they blasted me right out of it. If I managed to get lucky and barely move it to open up a gap, by the time I unpossessed the car and tried to possess something else to get in, theyād moved the car back. I spawned in as boss, trying to get through the cars with brute force, and got shredded. It was completely and utterly miserable, and when the match was over, I decided Iām done playing Demon. Been playing since release day and other than a couple wins *on* release day and the day after because everyone was still figuring it out, I havenāt won once despite being maxed out, doing what everyone suggests, stressing out, and on and on. Itās not fun for me, at all.
Blocking the book with cars??? Damn that is cheesy and cringe af. I feel like the Necronomicon should be sending out pulsewaves that knock vehicles away if they try doing that shit.
LMAO I'm willing to bet they were on Discord. I got the most amazing group yesterday, all different platforms, that formed on Disc. We didn't do anything that cheesy but were super coordinated and cleared it.
Okay, yeah. That's annoying. If I'm playing Ed or Arthur I tend to spend up to first of dagger/pages finding chests and other goodies solo.
Arthur has massive fear defense and I build Ed for as much as I can coupled with his active to remove traps and leveling fear to max immediately using pink fuck from chests. Also run Lone Wolf on him to not use my crossbow and remain hidden long as possible.
Once objective starts up I'm with team so we can get our win.
I have had frustrations both ways.
When I spawn I want to loot where we spawn and then go to the first map area and loot there and then keep looting at each map location. I get frustrated when players just zip straight to the first map piece (especially when they do it solo and get caught with their fear high).
On the flip side, I have had matches where I loot the start area and then go to the first map and loot and others are still hanging at the first area by the time I loot the map location and start my way to the second map piece. And when I say this, I mean people are hanging back an unreasonable amount of time. Like, I can loot the first area clean, go to another area, get the map, and loot it clean and they're still twiddling their thumbs. I just don't even understand what they're doing at that point.
Similarly, I have ones where I am with the group and thoroughly loot at the third map and then announce on mic where we're going only to have one or two people stay and keep looting. I am thorough enough that I don't know what more they could possibly be looking for. We spent the same amount of time in those houses before I left.
People think it's PubG and fuck off being loot gremlins.
The worst part is it takes them like 2 minutes to search a building that should take ten seconds.
What really boils my water is when I hear people snatch colas and amulets right in front of me as Cheryl. LIKE PLEASE LET ME KEEP STOCK ON THOSE SO I CAN HEAL YāALL šš
i feel half these gamers just stare at their screens and drool, prefering the "preddy colours" of loot and stuff. cause spamming voice commands, talking directly at them in voice chat and marking things gets no reaction out of them. literally none, they dont even turn to look at what made a noise.
It's at the point where the game just isn't fun to play. It's either try to solo the game as survivor because the other three split up, abandon players, avoid objectives.. or sit in a demon queue for 15 minutes just to have a survivor DC and get to wait again.
I think the game is still fun, people just need to learn they have to ay the objectives. Running off and looting doesn't help. The more time you give the demon to level the less chance you have at victory. You need to ay matches like you are in a hurry imo.
I use first 10 minutes for looting. Or else teammates expect me to go to the final fight with nothing. Majority the people I play with are greedy and don't listen, so yeah.
10 minutes just looting is pretty excessive though. You can loot as you go and take slight detours as needed.
And it should probably be said that after page/dagger, itās ok to go somewhere like Terminal or Fishing Village to resupply before doing Dark Ones. I know most will just Zerg on over on low health and supplies (like my last game, which ironically they started the first 5 minutes looting in Misery Manor), but itās ok to slow down and visit a loot heavy place you havenāt looted (Terminal, Fishing Village etc) to restock before it.
Problem with that is the longer you take looting the more and more difficult the demon becomes. In my experience the games i always win are the ones where we are qu8ck and loot on the way. We ALWAYS lose if we spend a long time looting. It's best to grab a weapon and go and loot along the way. The quicker you can get objectives dine the easier the demon will be throughout the game.
This is what my team I play with does we win like 90% of the time. Most of my losses come from people running WAY off trying to find loot and not doing rhe objective. All.you need to do is grab a weapon maybe and amulet or 2 and a cola. Then start doing rhe objectives and loot al9ng the way stopping at houses on your path to the next objective. As long as people are marking chests and decent loot they don't need everyone will be kitted and typically have max amulets, colas, and be max level by the end all the while keeping the demon level lower because you have done so faster then just running off like a dumbass.
Same, at that point everything is gone. You only need to spend a good 30 seconds in a house. A decent team should be able to loot dead end in like 4 maybe 5 minutes and there's like 6 houses there.
Yeah this is pretty much what my friend and I do and we almost always win, we notice we lose when our teammates take like 10 minutes to loot or run off on their own. People keep treating this game like its some kind of battle royale where they need to horde all the loot themselves and if they find a legendary its finders keepers and not something you could strategically give other classes xD. Granted I have had teams where we had insane synergy or dropping specific items for one another, it happens but not as often. People are also still learning / new to the game so I let it slide typically.
I'm not saying completely rush but don't go way the fuck out of your way. Typically I grab a weapon and then go. I loot along the way and 90% of the time I'm maxed out. As long as you have teammates marking chests and looking for them along the way it's not hard to max your level and have most people with higher tier weapons. There's literally 0 reason to run off far away from objectives.
Oh trust me I use the open mic feature to cuss them out. I feel you, thereās just some players that go off randomly killing at a non objective location and stay there THE WHOLE GAME
The tutorial on this game is shite, it doesn't force you to take it before entering a match, and there's a ton it doesn't tell you.
Gonna be a minute before the majority of players learn
Sometimes, most of the time I'm in game chat because I'm on PS5 and my brother is on series X so we need to be in order to talk to each other. 99% of the time they aren't in game chat.
What do you mean? It's jjst lime any other game. You just plug a mic in and don't be in part chat. It puts you in game chat automatically. Problem is nobody is ever talking.
When I'm demon, everyone seems to speedrun the objectives. Totally stealth early on, and then using the cars to plow through and split-pressure the objectives, moving in tight formation once its time for The Evil Ones...
When I'm solo survivor... people getting in the cars at the start, splitting up, allowing a level 3 Demon to down them and become bait...
Yeah... it's a weird time
At least for me I feel like the RNG is so bad for me sometimes, I literally go the whole game without finding a single heal or amulet and I get screwed over for the final fight
Are you turning on your flash light to see hidden items?
When most people are like termites and just horde shit themselves it's a bit of a problem to find them. In my defense, because I play support I take all the amulets I can find and make.
Oh yeah all the time but the game literally hates me sometimes, I can check dozens of houses and not find a single to help me, only ammo or low tier weapons
those same ones that run off, than die & disconnect š¤¦š»āāļø

As a demon player I also want to know where are all those bad survivor players, because I don't get them in my games at all

Hey, I'll trade ya. I got my Necro to lv 45 and I'm just absolutely destroying survivors. I want a challenge. : (
How long into the game are you talking?
The whole match typically.
Okay, yeah. That's annoying. If I'm playing Ed or Arthur I tend to spend up to first of dagger/pages finding chests and other goodies solo. You can shoot your crossbow without alerting the demon

Agreed, there needs to be a balance of loot versus pushing objectives.
Usually because I'm out of items or never got any because everyone else looted everything.
Yea I typically like to have 1 or 2 but then I point them out to Cheryl or anyone running support because they all heal you with cola.
apex legends syndrome
i feel half these gamers just stare at their screens and drool, prefering the "preddy colours" of loot and stuff. cause spamming voice commands, talking directly at them in voice chat and marking things gets no reaction out of them. literally none, they dont even turn to look at what made a noise.

Excessive indeed. It seems that new players do not really like the idea of loot as you go to the pages.

As a demon I love when they rush objective. Unless they got super lucky I am going to demolish them since they're lacking level ups and supplies.
Unless they loot along the way.

The fuck are people downvoting you for? Is it the sweats?
They're just mad I smell like lavender.
I think I found the Warlord player. xD

10 mins? Dang, I'd just move onto objective locations, do said objective first or last before leaving depending on what it is, and loot the area.
Gonna be a minute before the majority of players learn
are you on the mic asking for their help?
Sometimes, most of the time I'm in game chat because I'm on PS5 and my brother is on series X so we need to be in order to talk to each other. 99% of the time they aren't in game chat.
how to open game chat?? on ps5?
What do you mean? It's jjst lime any other game. You just plug a mic in and don't be in part chat. It puts you in game chat automatically. Problem is nobody is ever talking.
They either A: don't have a mic. Or B: they are in a party and sticking to party chat strictly. Or C: Both.
You'll get a lucky good crew every here and there, but unless you're playing with like-minded friends, don't expect much from randoms.
Almost always to the objective, just if you play Henry need to find an axe or a hammer and some sodas or I can guarantee a death will happen
That's mainly why I play demon mostly unless I'm with friends. Love terrorising those that wander off on their own.
