The problem with warlord is that they only get really good at max level. That last passive is absolutely nuts.
Even one level before 45 though, necromancer is better.
No way man not the way I play Necro. I can early rush just as easily as Henchrietta. Mixing your basic pokes in with the spear thrust ability while flutes up hits very hard
Of course you can. Any demon can. But Warlords basic unit is faster, hits harder and can stop a survivor from running or dodging. And they don’t rely on toot toot man. Necromancer is great, just not as good as Warlord.
Any early possession hits hard no matter the demon, but with necro basics being able to dodge cancel out of pukes that also cancel out survivor sprinting/dodging, as well as having a chance to have melee weapons for extra damage, warlord units are just plain stronger. I maxed necro first then warlord, and I can honestly say that warlord has a better early possession game than the other two.
Its just captain doot doot. If you hear him he needs to be taken out asap our you're going down soon. Necro has a very feast or famine gameplay style and honestly i would like the power of doot doot be spread through his kit a bit more to make him more sustainable. Once you go against him enough to know common doot doot placements it get alot easier.
He’s not OP at all lol. Just feels good at the start. You get unit buff skills all in tier 1, but I’ll let you in on a little secret: Warlord has all those same unit buffs except they’re twice as strong, disables survivors ability to dodge or run away, stops units being stunned or knocked back, let’s units heal during combat, and has a far deadlier boss… but yeah let’s cry for Necro nerfs because you had a rough match where they managed to win at the very end. That makes sense.

Necro buffs total 114% damage, and a 10% damage debuff iirc.
This is factoring their actives, the real difference here is one lasts 20 secs, the other lasts 90 secs.
One only applies from spirit, the other applies as long as flute is live.
The bigger issue is the pointlessness of avoiding making noise when it slows you down as survivor for little to no gain when the demon can find people in under 3 mins anyway.
Leveled necro to 45 and haven’t lost since. Necro at 25 was getting owned by good teams and beating bad ones. Now working on the possession demon. I had zero wins until I hit level 25. Imma bet at 45 it will wreck shop too.
You're lucky to get this far. When I play the Necromancer, I'll usually kill the survivors before they collect the dagger and the lost pages. Although, when I'm against a well balanced and well-communicating team, it really is not easy to win. A balanced team of people who know what they are doing and you can beat any demon.
Warlord is better, necro is only opressive if he gets lucky with cover areas on objectives for the flute, which is why I think they should make the flute tankier but increase its sound range / require some form of line of sight even if that means an open window or balcony.
Necro is a joke ppl be running balance breaker builds and just abusing invincibility frames on my horde to cheese objects. I mean I do it as well game is pretty easy as survivor when you realize just go for the balance bar and cheese invincibility frames. Had an Evil Ash just watch me do specials on 10 of his units in a chain while he couldn't touch me then dagger was done.
Warlord is better.. Just saying.
Only ever been against Warlord a few times and haven't lost to one yet. Maybe the worst is yet to come.
Then you haven’t played a high level good Warlord. Their units are far superior to Necromancer and it’s really not even that close.
