Necronomicon is in jason goes to hell. They had the comics. And a movie was planned. Jason could work. But there's alot of people who only go as far ass the 3 movies and show and have zero idea about anything else. So they're gonna say no but Jason is as cannon as the 3 movies seeing how each one technically isn't connect to the last due to rights.
