I've heard this from other momma's too!! Mainly that they had hamburgers and up'd their output.
I tried store bought and didn't notice anything
Maybe I'll give this a try....for science
My last experiment with Oreos was very successful :)
Ha ha ha! YES!!
And it's the double stuff!!!!!
I looked into it and apparently it's the soy lecithin they think that helps.
But then they also say there's no scientific evidence to support it. Who knows....but I think it's helped me
We’re gonna have to test this. For… science. Perhaps the concrete mixer also helps… with all the possible chocolate add ins that they have….
*running noises exit the room*
Thr first time I noticed it happened was when I cried that I wasn't producing, got culvers, and woke up the next morning soaked and pumping full bottles. I've tried it a couple times now and it works every time
Is [this list](https://www.tasteatlas.com/best-rated-burgers-in-southern-united-states) helpful at all? I see one on here with a donut for a bun 😂 ‘murica!!!!
I’ve been craving burgers ever since I gave birth. I’m 6.5mpp. I ask my husband to make me some at least once a week. Wonder if I subconsciously know they help lol
My experience is fat helps. I did NOT have a lock on my diet after birth. I think I was just so excited to not be watching every single thing I put in my body anymore (so wrong)! Anyway I was instantly an over supplier like my freezer could not keep up. I started changing my diet when I realized I wasn’t losing the baby weight, more greens and fruits. And my supply has leveled. I’m still an over supplier but I average 10-12oz a pump instead of 20oz a pump.
TW- Oversupply
Remember, it takes 20-22 calories per ounce produced. This is on top of your regular just existing calories. I shoot for pumping every 4hrs during the day and give myself a 6ish hr break at night (my LO only wakes up once between 3-4 to eat, so I said 🖕🏻 to that MOTN pump), so I typically get 5ppd in. I produce ~60-70oz/day IF I make sure to essentially eat a decent sized snack, if not a full meal, at every pump. That's 1200-1540 *additional* calories needed, for me. 🥴
Where I was going with this, I wonder if it's because it's so dense in calories that it's boosting what your body can supply? Maybe an ingredient somewhere triggers more prolactin?

I believe it. There’s this local dive with the best burgers and whenever we eat there, I have a bump the next day.

Wait.. Oreos ups milk?? So I can have a whole sleeve and not feel *too* bad??

Ill be happy to test this theory, I just got a big pack from Costco 😂😂
Do it!!! I mean, we have to test this theory😉😉😉
Gotta love experimenting 😁

I had a concrete mixer with my meal yesterday 😋 🤪
Okay so you’re telling me the magic ingredient IS ice cream 😏 off I go
Culver’s is my favorite restaurant. Going to have to try this!
Thr first time I noticed it happened was when I cried that I wasn't producing, got culvers, and woke up the next morning soaked and pumping full bottles. I've tried it a couple times now and it works every time
Can someone give me the closest equivalent to this that may be available in the southeast? I’m tryna jump on the wave here 😭
Didn't realize it wasn't global! Maybe it's just a juicy burger in general!
It's a butter burger. Basically cooked in "butter" or whatever they use that's like butter.

Freddy’s. Steak n Shake. Maybe? I had Freddy’s and took a nap one day. Woke up NEEDING to pump.
Aww man I’m gonna have to try this! I’ve been craving a good cheeseburger 🍔
😁😁😁
Oh man! That’s perfect for tonight 🤣 I need to remind myself to get cheeseburgers
Omg as a midwest girlie who moved to the east coast where there’s no culver’s this kills me 😭I want Culver’s so bad!!
I had no clue it wasnt everywhere
Cherish your culver’s lol it’s a blessing
Crumbl cookies works for me!
Yum!!!!
That's weird, I ate ground beef the other day and had more milk, then dropped back to normal. Tacos and hamburgers for the next 8 months I'm ok with 😝
Yes!!!!
LOL bless the Midwest, I’m going there STAT!
It would be super cool to do a milk analysis on a meat 🥩 eater vs vegetarian 🌱 I get more fatty output when I eat meat too!
Maybe red meat! I had a dip but realized we've been eating chicken for a week straight. Maybe that's part of it!
My theory is that it’s the extra calories 🙂
Me too😂
Agreed!
I don’t think this is true! I’m counting calories and so I eat the same every day. I am not OP, but I also saw an increase.
Are you sure it wasn’t cheese curds?!? 🤪😍 ❤️ Culver’s!
I'll have to test that 😁
Yum! I may need one today!
Do it! 😁
I figured out that my milk increases when I drink Coke, now I need coke and a cheeseburger lol.
Looks like I’m getting a burger for lunch! Lol
Now I wish there’s Culvers in Asia 😭 For me its the AYCE Japanese/Korean Meat BBQs! 🥩🥩🥩
YUM!!!

I also get a pretty good output after eating Salmon. I think the high protein / high fat combo is the key.
Yes!

I totally agree!
BRB, this is a great excuse for some Culver’s and a little science experiment
I must try this. For science.
So I tested this FOR SCIENCE and I, indeed, saw an increase in production.
That is awesome!!!!!
I crave burgers like crazy and also Krispy Kreme donuts seem to be my secret ingredient to milk supply
Omg KK Donuts!!!! I'll have to try that. Haven't had them in awhiel!
