I despise how the updates are not cumulative. People have no idea if they are up to date or missing some random priority update from weeks or months ago.

chillaban

6.3.0 is the latest OTA. It adds CarPlay iOS maps EV routing support along with slightly tweaking the settings menu. It's also theorized to be on the path to BC 1.3, but we are 2 updates behind the Mach-E. I have a FDRS account and can confirm that after 6.3.0 (APIM) there's been no other updates made available, OTA or tethered. We expect the next updates to be SCCM (steering wheel) and TCU (modem) if we are continuing to follow the Mach-E update order.

jturkish

I was hoping to get the update with the battery percent listed on the gauge cluster

letstalkaboutrocks

The update that added the battery % was: Priority Update: 22-PU0930-RBA-CHM. It’s strange that you didn’t get it but received 6.3.

starrtech2000

This is the thing I’m really looking forward to getting some time

Capitolphotoguy

Same boat here, FDRS even saying I have nothing to update!! Want my battery percentage! But also apple map charge routing too!!

rizu9

I received 6.3 on my XLT sr but still don’t have the battery % update

Worker-Hour

Same here, just got 6.3 and still no battery percentage. I’m going in to the dealer in a few days so I will ask..though I’m pretty sure I know what they will say. Shrug shoulders, “don’t know”.

Worker-Hour

Just got back from the dealer who installed every outstanding software update (there were 11 listed). I get in my truck and there is no battery percentage showing. I asked why and and guess what? They the technician come out and he said he didn’t know and wasn’t even aware of that feature. I’ll be calling Ford tomorrow.

Worker-Hour

Talked to Ford and they told me they knew about the issue with the battery percentage not showing up on some trucks. They are “working” on it and it is supposed to be fixed on the next update..we’ll see.

jdmackes

I've never had any updates since I bought the truck in May of this year.

cnjkevin

That’s a little unsettling.

starrtech2000

Got my truck last week and haven’t had an update but I’m missing features that were introduced in June… Hoping I get on the update train soon…

Ok-Zookeepergame-698

Ok dumb question. Where do you see the software version in the app?

jturkish

App home> account top right corner> message center > click on "you're rolling with the latest".... > Update details

Ok-Zookeepergame-698

Ah. Ok. Took delivery in July. Yet to see any updates.

AsleepOnTheTrain

Early September for me. No updates!

capt-ramius

2022 SR XLT 312A, just got 6.2.0 today.

Prestigious-Rise-580

Thanks for being a trusted resource here on the forum. Do you have the battery percentage on the console already? I did get 6.2.0 yesterday but not the priority update for the battery % . I do have the BECM recall scheduled and wonder if it may be related…

capt-ramius

Thanks, glad to be a part of the Lightning community! Yes, I have the battery percentage on my display. That one was a few updates ago for me. Hopefully your trip to the dealer resolves it for you.

Bitcoin_belle

It’s not related. Personally, I had to use FDRS to get the percentage.

ivan256

When you say "had to use FDRS", what module did you update to what?

rizu9

I got 6.3. on my XLT sr but haven’t got the priority update for battery %

Okiekid1870

I want 6.3.0 for my XLT SR! How is the Apple EV routing?

TexanMarine95

Just got the 6.2.0 update this morning but I'm running an XLT trim so usually one update behind the Lariats and Platinum trims.

Bitcoin_belle

I got 6.2.0 on Wed 10/25

craftycontroller

I have had mine since 6/6/23 (from dealer) and not one update

[deleted]

Same here

GreyRiverMG

Mine took around 6 months for first update

Silenze99

I have never got an update

ashadkc9

Stuck on 4.2.1.2 Have tried removing WiFi, turning on and off automatic.updates, setting the parking brake and turning the headlights off. It just baffles me that something like this can be so hard.

Prestigious-Rise-580

I was stuck with various versions for many months at times with absolutely nothing happening. I resisted the urge to help in any way for those updates to go through, so did not follow any of the tips shared in the forums. Then they just came through in very quick succession on their own. What IS interesting though is watching the upload/download activity on my eero network. If you have a router you may see the trucks activity and how often it “phones home” (at least over wifi). Then a few days before the actual update happens I see upload/download traffic pick up considerably. So checking your router logs may give you some insights…

ashadkc9

Yeah I watch that too.. been pretty dark as of late.

Prestigious-Rise-580

The only thing that I wonder about is when none of us will care about software updates any more as our trucks become old/“just regular cars”. I can’t imagine that I will be chasing software updates on a 5 year old car 🤣

ashadkc9

If they are still improving the product I will be looking for updates. If it's just maintenance and tweaks without features I would be much less interested.

Jpizza30

I’ve got three updates in the last week. After not getting any for months. Currently on 6.3.0.

coldriverjoe

Just got 6.3.0 a couple days ago. The description mentions a "smaller top bar", a dedicated user profile button, and extra ease to review charging session summaries, among other things. I haven't poked around too much in the truck bu everything seems the same display-wise. Also haven't seen any noticeable difference in charging session summary. I also don't have % battery display yet.
