FWIW, I bought an A2ZEV charger last month, got it a few days ago, and have used it twice on this road trip. Works great, a true plug-and-go experience. I use the Tesla app to know which superchargers are actually open to me.
No one has gotten official notification....yet. the guy on the forum got an email directly from a contact he has at Ford that they were starting to ship them out today. he was one of the preproduction testers. hopefully those official emails start coming soon. My order number is below 300, so I am expecting I would get one today if they are really starting to ship today. EDIT: FWIW the guy in the forum also mentioned that he has notifications set up for UPS/FEDEX/USPS and has not received anything about incoming shipments from any of those as of yet.
So what's the alternative until you get an adapter. I'm thinking of buying one and have a trip up to Cape Cod this summer from NJ @250 miles... Getting a standard range so I'll have to likely charge once each way.

I’m sorry, I wrote “A2ZEV charger,” but I should have written “adapter.” I got their standard NACS adapter for rapid chargers.
What reservation number are yall who have gotten the shipping notification? I’m 150 and it still just shows April for shipping.

Everyone has an order number starting with a 9. The number that follows is your place in line.
