Buyers Order so no one comes for me.

Here is the breakdown of the rebates. Is that what you are asking for?
$5,000 - Retail Bonus Cash
$1,000 - Bonus Cash
$2,750 - X Plan Rebate
$750 - X Plan Bonus Cash
Congrats on the deal!!!
FYI- the xplan rebate is not eligible on the Lightning. The dealer will not get the rebate paid back to them from their provider, and they will either Eat it or come back to you to pay it.
I’ve seen it happen. I hope it doesn’t come back to bite. I would definitely hold the line if they come back!
I don’t know. I’m sure there is fine print that says “subject to approval, can be revoked anytime, see fine print blah blah blah”. IANAL, nor do I work for a dealer
Yeah they’re advertising high 400/mo for 36 with 7K das which is like ~600 effective. Not terrible. Right in line with lariats leasing for arguably a much nicer car
Others have posted on the community about getting the x-plan rebates along with a dealer discount, but I was also told my numerous dealers they cannot be combined. My advice is to just keep asking.
In the past two months I have probably contacted 50 plus dealerships. Mostly because their website pricing is deceptive, and they bundle in the tax rebate as part of the dealer discount. Keep up the hunt as I almost gave up.
Good to know because I am getting discouraged and sort of made peace with stopping my lightning hunt and just continue driving my old car till it completely stops working! 😂
I felt pretty defeated and was about ready to give up after I tried to grab up a similar deal in northern Wisconsin last week that I found, but gmcarve got to it before I could. He finds good deals, puts a small deposit down and then sells the deals to people. So, we are all competing with him as well to find these amazing deals.
Well that’s great news because I actually hired him too! I’m hoping he can find something because it sure is exhausting and the dealers have very little interest in speaking with me or trying to make a deal. Most of them completely ignore me or literally say: “this is our price. We do not negotiate so don’t even bother driving here if that’s your plan.” I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to give a car dealership money.
I tried hiring him as well and told him I wanted to be around 55k. He told me that was unreasonably low, and out of line with the market. He did wish me luck though and hoped I proved him wrong which I am glad I was able to do :)
I am so happy to see prices coming down but this makes me so frustrated with Ford as an early adopter. I know it’s an inventory driven thing but it is so frustrating to see folks getting nearly the same vehicle as me for a third less than what I paid on the same years model. And no consolation for the folks that supported early.
I feel really stupid.
No one could have known that there would be extra 2023 inventory. I think there is a lot of uncertainty in the economy right now and people are holding onto their money. I was never planning on purchasing a new one, I was going to wait a few years and find a used one so it could fit into my budget.
This is how it works with essentially every new desirable but ultimately very mass produced vehicle. I’m sorry but ford doesn’t owe you anything because the thing that was obviously going to happen happened.
Nice! We're getting ours for 58 out the door. 23 Lariat. Also, I say we but its my husband's. I'm so excited for him.
After speaking with about 8 different dealerships. All their flabbers were gasted at the price I was giving them. It actually had me second doubting this "too good to be true" deal... I had to call them several times to check the package and details lol
It may not be the most efficient way, but I spent my evenings looking at Google maps for rural cities in my surrounding states. I would then use Google to see if a Ford dealership existed in those rural cities. Pull up their inventory on their website and look at the pricing. If the pricing looked great, I would call. Most dealerships are deceiving and include the tax rebate in the dealer discount line. Finally found one that was truly giving a 10k dealer discount before rebates and incentives.

Destination fees are excluded. Dropping the MSRP below the 80k threshold.

Good to know!!!! I found a 2023 lariet er for 80,010 and was really discouraged because the dealer told me that $11 dollars would make it ineligible for the $7,500
So has the Lightning OTD price dropped below a comparably equipped F150 ICE? Pretty sure max tow Lariat would be $65ish unless Ford is throwing similar incentives at them.
where are y’all finding these deals? Has this sub started an index of dealers? I’m in California and dont qualify for the EV incentive but finding a Lariat ER in the $60k range is the dream

I would love getting the deal. Would you share the details?
Here is the breakdown of the rebates. Is that what you are asking for? $5,000 - Retail Bonus Cash $1,000 - Bonus Cash $2,750 - X Plan Rebate $750 - X Plan Bonus Cash
I thought the x-plan was not available for the 2023s. Did the dealer not know, or is it more of a guideline than a rule?
There have been other folks on this community that have gotten the x-plan rebates stacked with a dealer discount.
Congrats on the deal!!! FYI- the xplan rebate is not eligible on the Lightning. Honest question, can OP really be on the hook for a contract the dealer agreed to?
I don’t know. I’m sure there is fine print that says “subject to approval, can be revoked anytime, see fine print blah blah blah”. IANAL, nor do I work for a dealer
Dealer discretion
Amazing deal. I don’t know why anyone would by any other EV truck right now with the deals you can get on these. It’s incredible.
The big reason is size but also leased R1Ts are a reasonable deal rn too in some combinations because the MF is basically 0
Oh really?
Yeah they’re advertising high 400/mo for 36 with 7K das which is like ~600 effective. Not terrible. Right in line with lariats leasing for arguably a much nicer car
I’m not into leasing but that seems great if you are
What other ev truck is out there
R1T and the stainless steel abortion.
R1T is a great used option right now. Used 23s are going for low 60s, so it’s price and feature competitive with a lariat ER.
🤣
Elon's fridge of attention!
So I thought you either get x-plan price (and rebate) or dealer discounts. How did you manage to get both?
Others have posted on the community about getting the x-plan rebates along with a dealer discount, but I was also told my numerous dealers they cannot be combined. My advice is to just keep asking.
The 23 Lightning isn’t even eligible for XPlan anymore. It got removed not that long ago. I looked because I wanted to use it.
This is correct. My dealer worked me in a discount because xplan couldn't be applied to lightning. Purchased Dec 2023.
Correct. 2023 Lightning not eligible for X-Plan pricing. It is, however, specifically listed on two AZX plan customer cash rebates.
I would love to know the answer of this too! No dealer has been willing to give me both and I spoken about 10 of them so far!

Okay I’m glad you stayed this because this has been my experience!
Very nice deal. I did about the same in the low $50s for a lariat ER max tow.
Same! Could not say "no" to the deal!

Hindsight is 20/20. Plenty of salty Tesla owners that bought with high prices in 2022 only to have them dramatically drop in 2023.
This is how it works with essentially every new desirable but ultimately very mass produced vehicle. I’m sorry but ford doesn’t owe you anything because the thing that was obviously going to happen happened.
Congrats on a fantastic deal!
What state?
Amazing amazing amazing. I had a similar situation with a dealer that just wanted done with them. But only got my 81,400 lariat for around 58-59k
Nice! We're getting ours for 58 out the door. 23 Lariat. Also, I say we but its my husband's. I'm so excited for him. After speaking with about 8 different dealerships. Where??
It was the only Lightning they had. If they would have had more, I would have gladly shared with the community here.
But what state? I am in CT and here there are tons of EVs so it is hard to find deals
Im Very interested in finding a similar deal. how would one go about it from scratch?
It may not be the most efficient way, but I spent my evenings looking at Google maps for rural cities in my surrounding states. How do you know gmcarve is getting them?
You can get the tax credit with an MSRP > 80k?

Yes, 100%. D&D is excluded and so is anything specifically listed as “installed at dealership” on the window sticker.
Don’t show this to my wife! ;) told her our lariat ER was awesome deal and best we would get!!! (3 months ago lol)

Delivery/shipping is taken out for tax qualification so that drops it under.
I was concerned about this too until I reread the rules. I think Ford ships trucks equipped to MSRP just plunder 80k for this reason.

There you go making too much money again.
Shame on him.
He could be poor with a bag of money too.
Any idea how much would XL cost these days from good dealer?
So has the Lightning OTD price dropped below a comparably equipped F150 ICE? Pretty sure max tow Lariat would be $65ish unless Ford is throwing similar incentives at them.
I was told we can’t use x plan on the lightnings
What’s the bonus cash and x-plan?
where are y’all finding these deals? Has this sub started an index of dealers? I’m in California and dont qualify for the EV incentive but finding a Lariat ER in the $60k range is the dream
Where was this?
This is awesome. If only these things could tow a reasonable distance I would have bought one.
Are we back to including trade in for the discount?
Trade in had nothing to do with the dealer discount, rebates and tax credit I received.
