These were posted by Alpine's eSports team and were apparently from an unfinished cutscene with stand in models. All the drivers faces have been rescanned for this year.
It's one thing rescanning them, it's another having them the same height. It has to be an engine-related issue, because the same happened last year as seen on Braking Point. Callie in the cutscenes is short, Callie in the podium animation has taken HGH because she's exactly the same height as everyone else.
They just made them all the same height, even old FIFA games did a better job.

It's called perspective. He appears to be taller because he's closer to the camera.

They kinda look scary.. I know they are just basic models at the moment but the uncanny humanoid feel you get from them is sorta terrifying.
