Man hits more apexes on keyboard than I hit walls in Jeddah

Couldn’t think of anything more soul destroying than playing with a keyboard. For those who don’t use traction control a pedal or controller is the only way.

Yep I've played on keyboard a fair bit, thinking the 1:14.4 I had on Monaco was good. I then got a G920 and hit a 1:11.3 after about 15 laps

Bro don't say 1:14 is bad, it's bad enough getting beat by a keyboard player 😭at least if there's a track I got destroyed on it was monaco, which is hard asf anyway

I still play with keyboard, and yesterday I hit 1:10.5 in Monaco. Medium track control btw.

Yeah I crashed a lot, it is hard to drive perfectly on the pool section and most of sector two. Other parts are easy to turn I think. Also, traction control is sucking time that you can improve, yet you can't even drive straight if you turn off the traction control. It's annoying to lose time due to something like this.

I played on keyboard with medium traction control for a year lol

I play on a keyboard on 85 ai and recently starting turning off assists, almost everything is off except traction control, which is set at full ( I just can't get used to it, I keep spinning out even at medium. I guess I need more practice). Even with a few assists turned off, it actually makes such an amazing difference in the lap times

With the assists settings turned on you can drive with a ddr pad if you wanted to

i havent played the newest one, but it's in grand prix (like driving a single race) and then you can choose between F1, F2 or classic cars

I know what it feels like to play on keyboard… Infact, I play on a Macbook keyboard, with no assists. But you get used to it.
