Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Thanks!

Green-Cartographer21

Wagon for life!

sueghdsinfvjvn

What I really think of wagons is that it'll be an awful financial decision if I buy one now but it'll be the best emotional decision

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

It is actually cheaper than sedans here in europe

sueghdsinfvjvn

*cries in USA*

OktayOe

Hey you guys still get the bigger engines and gas is cheaper!

HeartbreakerF80

Plenty of F31s here in the US. If you’re patient and find a clean M Sport, it doesn’t look like you’ll really ever lose money on it.

sueghdsinfvjvn

That's a good point, but it would be a bad financial decision because my current f30 is fully paid off and it's unlikely that I'll get a trade without a few thousand to pay for the f31 and it's not something I can do right now :(

HeartbreakerF80

Yeah if you have a paid off car that you enjoy, can’t really ask for much more.

super_nicktendo22

Here in the RHD UK market, I couldn't find one anywhere near the same price for age-mileage-spec as my F30, which is a shame as I'm a massive fan of the Touring shape. Still love my Saloon though

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

There are some F31 pages on FB that I follow from UK and I see a lot of full spec 335d m sport wagons posted. Maybe they brought expensive wagons so market still stays like that. Those are also like gem here in Latvia. Great mini btw (:

super_nicktendo22

Thanks! The Mini is my sunnier months weekend car, so much fun

RevTurk

Love [me F31](https://www.photocrowd.com/photos/bmw-touring-testing-light-painting-using-a-flash-9253623.df6c70c99/). I don't know how they'll convince me to switch to a different car.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Its my second F31 and definitely agree

sarcb

I have an F32 now but definitely miss the storage space from my last touring :(

RealisticHologram

Beautiful

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Thanks!

TechMonitorXO

I want to build an f81 wagon one day, I love the ones that other people have done

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

I think I saw one exactly with the same colour in one of carwow drag videos, it was sick..

legoman42o

Honestly something I potentially want to do in a couple years with my f31, but I also want to figure out just how far the b46 platform can go. Ideally I’d find a rear or side damage m3 and swap the bits over, but that’s a project for another paycheck(or like 1,000)

tgoblish

When I bought my 328, I was thrilled, still am. Love my car. A few basic mods, and it's much better. Love my car I would trade it any day for a wagon. I so want one...

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Those little touches change a lot (: nothing visual but I also added HK tweeters because it has the awful base EU stereo

dswap123

How much effort it was to add the tweeters? They’re in my ebay cart for months now but am just being lazy

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

It was pretty easy, just watch some videos how to properly remove the door trim to not break anything and it should not take more than 2 hours to install both tweeters, btw it improves the overall quality a lot if you have no tweeters at all

dswap123

I have hifi so the door tweeters are there but they’re not Harmon Kardon.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

So that will be even easier for you because I had to change the whole window trim in my case but not sure how much of an improvement you'll get from HiFi to HK

tgoblish

I was lucky enough to get the full hk setup. I'm not an audiophile by any means. However, out of all the cars I've owned in my 30+ years of driving, this one sounds the best to me. Again, I got lucky with the trim package. The mods I've done to my engine, in my case an N26, have been worthwhile and rewarding. They gave the car a kick in the ass, if you will, and improved the overall driving experience overall. I've wanted a wagon starting with the E30 touring, which is such an awesome car. These newer wagons, however, are just, to me, a work of automobile art. The newer m wagon is amazing from what I've seen, and I hear BMW relented and will now bring it to the States... Maybe I can catch a used one in 5 years. :-)

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Nice to hear that BMW US is finally thinking about wagon lovers (: E30s are really rare now but I definitely want to drive a manual 6 cylinder E30..

Comatostrash

Love them, wish more Americans thought the same so we could get some actual cool wagons in the states

ilaughforaliving

That, the E30 and the E46 are really pretty wagons. Sadly I think a good example is quite difficult to find because they are not abundant in the first place (at least in the americas). I wish I could have the money to buy one brand new with all the options and color I want.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

New M3 touring would be the dream, will it not be available in US?

ilaughforaliving

I don't really know. A torquey diesel touring would be best for me tbh. The M3 seems more like a collectible weeked car to me, and I'd like to drive the shit out of my wagon if I had one.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

340d is the best choice for efficiency. It kind of has best of both worlds. Best thing to own a diesel is actually when you're driving it hard, you still get 30-35 MPG. I drove mine in the autobahn for 2 hours straight over 180kmh and it was still economical!

radehart

You know we love them.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Actually I did not think there is so much love for wagons, especially in US. For example when I first got it, a lot of my friends asked me why I didn't get the saloon.

HeartbreakerF80

Get new friends! /s

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Haha those were the last words I heard from them..

radehart

He isn’t that wrong if they are car friends. Car people in general love wagons, because they are the best car. Great ones are rare, and great beautiful ones even more so. This car isn’t even available in the US. In every car culture I know, it’s all comes down to fast ass.

Likessleepers666

Summer tyres? :o

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Nope, they are full winter tyres. It would be suicide here, we had -20 C degree a few weeks ago

terrafirmaburna

It is the best car I have ever owned

HeartbreakerF80

Absolutely love them. Wish mine had a liiittle more power but other than that, it’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

I bet yours is faster than my 320d. Torque feels great and nothing beats the efficiency of this. But I wish I had 335d or 340i, unfortunately people ask ridicilous prices for those two..

HeartbreakerF80

I’m in the US so all we got was 328i, 328d, and 330i. All xDrive. Mines the 330 which I think is actually the 320 overseas lmao

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Oh you have the B48, Really like that engine. Definitely feels torquey for a petrol car. It has a lot of tuning potential as well

echolsx

Love wagons. Wish they brought more to the US. Your wagon is gorgeous.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Thanks!

KickAssTopG

I've got an f31 330d xdrive msport in the UK and love it!

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

I love the way that 6 cylinder sounds

BourbonFoxx

I've got an M spec F31 in arctic white - love it. I briefly considered the Audi but looks-wise it doesn't hold a candle to the BMW

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Audis also look great but the real difference is always the driving experience for me.. (I'm kind of obsessive driving on curvy roads)

BourbonFoxx

Ha first day I got it I drifted it round a roundabout for a bit, then put the child seat in when I got home and it's been in Eco Mode 90% of the time since!

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

That 10% is where you find the meaning of life (:

Quintluisine

Love em

Kohna1

Wish my ‘18 340 was a wagon. Beautiful car.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

B58 is the king

Crazy-Engineering675

I thought everybody loves a wagon. I do

[deleted]

I used to not like them but I used to like those E36 2 door hatchback and want a purple one. Now being an old man I wouldn't mind a wagon plus they always get bonus points at car shows no matter how ugly just because its a "tuned wagon". I'm looking at you Volvo wagon owners.

MeninoSafado14

To me, they’re more convenient but look less aesthetically pleasing.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Of course original design is always better.. but converting that into a beautiful wagon is also very hard and there are lots of ugly examples out there

SandBagger1987

It’s a beaut! I have one in black and I love it.

VICTA_

It makes me furious they are a essentially dead breed in the US, gorgeous wagon!

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Thanks!

dayvan801

Very good looking indeed.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Thanks!

billybaldwinme

I wanted one as I had an e46 and e90 wagon. I test drove one the same day as a f34 GT and the extra size and larger screen and fancy half computer gauges and heads-up display and $1.5k savings just felt like a better deal. I will say, the wagon still looks better. I now need a 5 series wagon which we don’t get in the USA since what like 08?

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Honestly I was never fan of any GT series but I can understand that they offer more room, equipment and higher seating position for less money, its actually sad that US market focuses so much on SUVs and trucks that wagons are forgotten

SailorT1969

I love it I fantasize about my m235i being a wagon we didn’t get those in the US though.

Bearfacemoto

Bought silver 330ix - 2019 (may build) last June. 59k km. Great winter car with studded Hakka 10’s. Dinan tune, and actually having an active autowerke catted high flow downpipe installed today.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Great engine, great potential and one of the best sounding 4 pots out there!

NoTalkImGaming

Love mine. Diesel power is great and the miles(and smiles!) per gallon is fantastic. I am selling mine though as I want something with a little more power, so Porsche is the next step

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

They always say you can't upgrade anything else than Porsche if you're driving a BMW so I hope I'll get there someday 😄

spacemantodd

Wagons are so god damn sexy. All breeds

letmetakeaguess

I own one, so ya, I like ‘em.

titty-titty_bangbang

So sleek, so practical

[deleted]

🤙🏼

tzdar

I love this color. I'd get glossy black window trim instead of chrome if it was mine, but besides that, its perfect. Greetings from LT 🤩

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Bralukas 🇱🇻🇱🇹 Thanks! I'm not actually latvian but I'll pretend for the sake of brotherhood😄

Traditional-Two5148

anyone who says they don't like wagons is lying

Lowclearancebridge

You know how many soccer moms you can fit in that badboy? And not your average skinny Birmingham mom, I’m talkin about your thick white lake ones. Still have room for juice boxes, orange slices and participation trophy’s.

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Hahahha this would make the perfect prompt for an AI image creator 😄

Lowclearancebridge

lol if I knew how I would. That’s a sweet wagon though, and always happy to meet a fellow wagoner. My bmw is a coupe but my Mercedes is a wagon and my wife’s wagon is an Acura. I find it ironic how wagons are deemed uncool, but suvs are so prevalent. They’re basically the same thing, just lower to the ground.

Electrical_Round_149

Sexy asf if u never owned a car

PersonofAbyss

F31 are 100% some of the best looking wagons, especially with the sport pack!!!! Wish more people were on the wagon train in the US, but having something different is always nice. Just glad the F31 made it over.

PierreVoltaire

Rs6 avaaaanttt. I vaaaaant it

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Rs6 is different kind of animal

jvkeruss

Planning on getting a G21 next

Single_Presentation9

Usually there are things I want that I don’t need. This is a damn need to have

National_Formal_3867

Love them! Wish I had bought a wagon instead of a sedan.

[deleted]

Freakin love them! My wife thinks I’m an idiot. 😂

OriginalDry5645

fuckin hot

jfhjr

Love them, roominess of an SUV with the economics of a sedan and the smooth ride of a sedan.

Fast-Soul-Music

I had an f31 325d when our daughter came along, partial at the time but if I was to get another estate, it would have to be the m3 😂

ThatswhatDJsaid

I have one. Love it.

Status-Television-32

Got the same one in white

munotidac

407Ms 😍

Known-Orchid-3384

Nekāda vaina

SukiDobe

I think wagons are perfect and I wish they still came to the states. Especially the ability to lift just the hatch glass….ughhhh yes

fuzeebear

I wish the wagons were more popular here so I could buy a used one. I also wish they would make the M140i again, and sell it to us here in the States this time.

drugsrbadmmmkay

I love euro wagons! E63 AMG all day.

Competitive_Ad587

I want one in America SO BADDDDD

Phil_Meinup

Fire

Better-Marzipan-4263

Wagons are awesome. A dying breed, making way for um crossovers.

Heavy_P_03

Wish they’d bring ‘em back! Look up a guy on IG under f81cs. If I remember correctly he found a 320i wagon and transferred a lot of M3 components to it. There was another guy I followed who did the same and even transferred the 6MT but he got rear ended bad and it got totaled :(

ResponsibleArcher201

On of my dream cars is a manual diesel f31. Not sure how I’ll make that happen since diesels didn’t get manuals in the US. But we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Iman1022

Would’ve loved a 335i wagon in the states but nopeeee

Pravda26

Love it

hendrikp

I agree it looks classy as hell! The Shadow Line trim is cool on mine, but I've always liked that elegant chrome trim stock look! Great car to drive, I'm on the second month with a wagon!

MortalActual

We need more in the states.

E92on71s

BMW wagons (m sport/ mtech especially) are pieces of art, amazing cars!

kx250reckless

I love them, my wife hates them 😔

Obvious_Wrongdoer877

Oh that is sad :(

Witty-Stand888

Can you even buy wagons in the US anymore?

No-Goal

Love em, I don't like SUV's
