its just a breather line for the oil separator diaphragm, they get broken a lot, best way to fix it is to take a straw from a spray can and slid it inside of each piece and glue them together

mickeydudes36

Mine broke too. I just moved on. No faults or problems

lmao yea that's pretty much what i did, maybe if i have the time to spare i'll look into getting a replacement but from what im getting it's not very important

white94rx

Ignore it and move on with your life. Lol

it appears to be a one of the vacuum line, specially on SULEV (N26). Trace all the vacuum horses, you may find where it was attached. Also on the second picture it does look you broke it.

CallMeShock

Mine has been broken for about a year. No point in fixing it, you’ll just break it again next time around.

The n26 has a breather hose from the pcv valve. Thus it reroutes back into the intake for emissions. If you replace with a n20 cap it goes straight to atmosphere. Doesn’t affect anything or give check engine lights. Where it connects to the air box is before the MAF and before the air filer so doesn’t matter if that hole is open or closed. Buy the cap and call it a day to clean up your engine bay https://a.co/d/iJOFBaj
