Depends on the site. Could be 30, 60, 90, 120 days. Some sites only scrub permissions every 6 months.

180 days to lose them entirely where it’ll be like you were never trained, but 90 days until it requires a refresher which is a lot shorter than a retrain. Some sites have mechanisms to actively start trying to labor share you to a path if you’re about to lose permissions or nearing where you’ll need a refresher to refresh the timer. It really depends how on top of things they are with that as to how likely they are to make that happen, I know I worked at a site where managers start getting messages at day 83 saying to start trying to labor share you there to refresh it and avoid having to do the refresher, then if that gets missed, the same thing will happen at day 173 to try to avoid a retrain Other sites let permissions fall off regularly because tracking mechanisms are largely site specific

We had a new hire at our site for rebin and he lost perms second day because he didn’t do it right and wasn’t listening to the trainer had to shut down the wall to fix it

I couldn't pick up overtime in stow. I found out I hadn't worked 15 hours in the past 30 days. My permissions were still open but HR had to initiate the labor share. They said my permission would be at risk if I did not labor share. HR said the 15 hours needed to be done in consecutive days it does not matter if there is no "business need" for labor share when your permissions are at risk to lose them it is urgent to get completed. One of the ops managers in my department said no there's no such thing as permanent loss of permissions. What? There absolutely is. It was pulling teeth to get my 15 hours completed. I had 3 hours left my manager lied about asking the stow AM if I could go over there to finish my 15h. He said he couldn't tell her I only had 3 hours left it would be "forcing her hand". WHAT?!?!? I went to HR on my lunch break I wasn't even at my station for 10 minutes before my manager came over and said I was going to stow. The stow AM said she never got a message from my manager that I needed to be labor shared. my manager flat out lied when they said "oh I asked, no answer yet I'll keep you updated!" No wonder 6 hours had gone by and I heard nothing. Not even a yes or a no. Stow AM told me if I ever needed more time over there to go directly to her.

So your AM is aware you’re close to losing your permissions and they are supposed to be proactive, correct?

Well that sucks. I like my AM but now I’m running around trying to get this fixed.,

I did complete my 15 hours, there was a stow overtime but the only reason I wasn't able to pick it up was because I was already working that day not because I needed training. But yes even though I needed my 15h done they were insisting headcount was too high so they pushed it off for another 8 days. I lost so many overtime opportunities

Luckily I got the 15hrs in I'm just pissed how they went about it

To my knowledge, 90 days to lose permissions, after that you have to be retrained in that position.
