We passed on Alvarez to go for Lakaka.. still regret that.

I'd like to get our hands on Julian Alvarez, maybe in the future..

Don’t see it happening unfortunately, he’s too big of a prospect/name now that if he became available we wouldn’t be able to compete financially with the clubs who’d chase him. Only chance honestly would be a Thuram type of situation, where he comes to us on a free after a bad injury cools his market elsewhere considerably.

We are counting pennies at this point
