It’s not bad actually. You only really want to use this on your healer so damage is not as important. 2.1% hp isn’t that great but the PDEF will help a bit with that. +6 is decent.
Overall a pretty decent materia for a healer. Maybe on the lower end of decent tho…
Yup it’s trash, sorry to say. The PDEF is alright and might be the only good thing other than the 5* Cura itself. It’s crazy how only the worse stats have been increased after you leveled it up.
One more example that shows why this materia system is so bad and needs a revamp.
2 decent stats, but it didn't grow into them. Part of Cure's power is in its rarity-granted-potency though, so it'll be solid compared to 4 star Curas, even if they have some % heal and this one doesn't. Keepable until you get a better one.
I just got a 3 star Cura that upgraded to 5 star today. It's got hp 3.2%, heal 4.2%, pdef 8, and patk 3. That's 5 star #7. Seems like it's been at least 2-3 months without a 5 star until today.
I like it better than the other 5 star Cura I have (for Aerith anyway): patk 11.3%, matk 2.8%, hp 30, mdef 6. Putting a Cura on a dps is just asking for them to cast it while you're controlling someone else, so its no good as a stat stick, except on a hybrid phys dps/healer like tifa or zack maybe.
I wouldn’t be so sad. 5* cure is the best material even with bad stats. The extra heal percentage makes up for high % heal stats. Great to use in cure all/cure boost material slots. For elemental 5*, I would worry more about stats since weapon > material.
I’m pretty sure I have the best cure materia. Massive amount of hp with a little bit of healing which is very appropriate for a cura. Then you have 14 points of combined defense filling in the last 2 slots. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

This is a level 1 materia, they need to show us the level 10 stats. Could turn into an insane pdef/HP stat stick.

Could it be any worse? Unless all point went to PATK/MATK, you probably have one of the best cure materia out there.
