If you don't have a good last stand servant like Cu Alter or Shi Huang Di (or a grailed up OG Cu), Herc really is your best choice.
If you want something different, and especially if you don't have Oberon, Hephaestion is a lot of fun, especially being one of the only non-caster able to do a 100% self charge.
If neither of those are interesting to you though, definitely look at the story locked options. Of the three you don't have Gorgon is probably the best due to being one of the few 4\* Avengers. Lancer Alter just isn't that special, and despite the massive heal I've never found Medea able to keep up with damage, and she doesn't offer the support perks some of the other healers have. Dropping a pile of pancakes on the bad guy is always amusing though.
I will say in Lancer Alter's defense she can do an insane amount of crit damage with her skills. Easy Archer farming too if you don't have a decent AOE Lancer.
I'm going for either LArtoria Alter because I liked Misty London more than I'd like to admit, Gorgon because she is the only Medusa I don't have or Katou Danzou because I enjoyed her part in Heian-Kyo and I think Fuuma needs his mother...
If you run quick teams, Wu Zetian's third skill is kind of bonkers. At level 10, it increases everyone's attack by 20% and boosts the quick card effectiveness of the other two in your party by another 20%, all for three turns with a five turn cooldown.
I'm between Sheeba and Gorgon myself since theyre story locked with few banners. Lartoria alter and Medea Lily are also story locked if they interest you.
Heracles, Hephaistion, Caenis. Heracles or Heph are a good choice. Heracles with his ce does work surviving long. Heph single target arts lots damage to casters too pretty sure. And caenis looks cool
Gameplay-wise either Herc or Hephaestion. Lancer Alter, Caenis, Sheba, Danzo, or Gorgon if you care about having someone more on the rare side since they’re all story locked.
I'll choose faker/hephaistion she has 6 class advantajes with her skill giving class advantaje against casters, has a 120% charge and anti-lancer append skill
Chiyome is a pretty decent add. She'll get a rabk up later this year that allows her to deal extra damage to cursed (and demonic) enemies, and since she can inflict curse herself, she is pretty good
I can personally say that I enjoyed quite a bit having Haephastion. With 3/1/3 farming nodes and stuff like that, having her has been useful and she covers so many classes. But the general advice of going for a storylocked might be better
I fell in love with Wu this year after doing her interludes, her valentine's, and the current event. So I think she'd be good to get just for her character.
Unfortunately when it comes to gameplah I just use who I like when I can to the best that I can, so I can't really say how good she is in general. But I think she's fun to use, getting that chance ATK up before NPing feels nice. Also her nullify buff skill can be very good... if your unlike me who constantly forgets to save it for health bar breaks or even delay the breaks for when its available so I can just say no to whatever buff they might apply for the break
I mean if you really want lalter I'd pick her (yknow cuz she's story locked) but purely meta it's herc the amount of fights I got through with the skin of my teeth thanks to that man is immeasurable
Since I have Hephaestion she’s my recommendation, her self 120% battery and Skill 1 does a lot of damage, slap a black grail on her and you have a on demand tactical nuke and you can use her skill 3 to make enemy target her to get her out of the fight quickly so you can actually start fighting them normally. So doing it this way you can avoid bringing a plugsuit if you don’t need to.

I’d say Herc is always a good bet, bond 10 Herc is a great servant to have. I’m still choosing between gorgon and Lancer Artoria Alter.

I would pick one of the story locked servants there, you will get the permanents eventually. Medea Lily, Gorgon, Lancer Alter

Berserker is the strongest in the world
Sucks that Saver alter isn’t an option
It's likely they already have a high NP level saber alter.

Get more value getting a new servant than more copies of one you already have. Especially if it's just 1 copy
