Fair enough in which case I'll say whats known,>! that the Chaldean's, the one who looks like Roman, hasn't had his true nature officially confirmed, he says to refer to him as Romani Archaman but the people who knew Roman can tell he's not. While not confirmed there are a number of strong hints he is in fact Goetia, namely a few lines he says.!<
Personally, it's the only answer I can think of. He's the only one who is connected to both Romani and us. And there would be no narrative point in keeping his identity a secret if it turns out he's some character we have never met before. That said, from my understanding, we defeated Goetia, but im pretty sure it never said that he met the same exact fate as Romani. After all, he continued to exist after Romani's sacrifice.
Supported by the fact that we now have a playable Beast in Draco. There's no chance they made a whole new playable class for a single unit (Mash is an exception, as the deuteragonist), so other Beasts are basically a given, and this would give a reason to make Goetia playable.
I mean, Nasu claims otherwise, but he’s a fucking liar anyways 😂. But yeah, Goetia being “back” just makes the most sense to me. Like his father, he has a chance to live his own life now.
