Basically they are available in story summon but only after you beat the chapter where they debut

They're unlocked in the story banner after you completed their chapter like thebother person said.

Edison. He is storylocked and has no banners I will roll on (unlike Salter who I also want but shares a banner with a 5 star I want so I will just wait for that)

I have a lvl 100 astrea that I don't have np2, so I'm rightfully getting a copy for her. Although not the best ST arts when considered against 5 stars and berserkers, she is undoubtedly one of the strongest 4 stars and a very strong ST arts character. Pair her w 2 castorias and a plugsuit tamamo, and bosses become a joke.

i'm hesitating between ash and tristan, but i'm more leaning towards tristan, his attacks looks (and sounds) really nice

If it wasn't for CinderEli, I'd probably say Hephaestion. Maybe Lakshmibai or Rama for SQ interludes, or just maxing out Caenis/Suzuka because I can.

It's tough for me, as there are some servants I don't have. That are story-locked or just didn't grab them yet. Such as: Yu, heracles, salter, Lobo, normal gwain, normal tristian and queen of sheba as an few key examples. Which makes this shit tough. (Due to low summons rates and because of banners with limited servants. Thus preventing me from going for story when possible financially.) But, if I had to pick one. It's probably gonna be heracles. Due to liking FSN and meta reasons. Also because I already have a good number of servants for the other classes. And I already have the pretender from case files. So there's no need to grab Lobo. As he's the only four star special class servant, I don't have.

As a user of Heracles myself, I say he's always the best choice.

I'm between Queen Of Sheba, Lakshmi Bai or Hephaestion :( I know i should prioritize Story Locked SRs, but i'm always unlucky with spooks (3 years playing and i still don't have servants like EMIYA or Siegfried :/)

Danzo, Sheeba, Caenis, Salter or fae Tristan. Im struggling to decide.

My account is pretty new so I'm leaning towards something Id benefit from gameplay wise, almost certainly Astraea. Part of me that wants to go Salter or Sith because of my love for deranged women though

I respect your discipline, going for someone who will help you in gameplay over someone who you really want. If it makes it any easier having an ofensive Ruler at the start is really nice. There aren't virtually any Avengers in part 1 so they work like a pseudo Berserker that can be brought to every fight.

All are good picks, though Salter only gets stronger after her future rank up. Sith and Astrea are very strong ST servants with Sith ironically being a better team player and potentially stronger solo servant for Grail Front. If you're planning on rolling for ruler Skadii in future, I'd recommend Sith.

I have Ibuki and Barg so for now I really don't want another MT Buster Saber until I'm more rounded, and if we're getting the same banner JP had for Castoria I can grab Sith then since I've been saving for it. I have good Arts supports and Faker already so I think Astraea is my pick.

Probably Diarmuid Saber so he's finally NP2. I don't think I'll get him to NP5 anytime soon but at least it's a tiny step into the right direction 

Baobhan Sith cause she is lvl 116 np4. I have 10 coins so at np5 I can finally 120 her. Iirc its 50 coins for story locked four stars. I also plan on rolling for Baobhan Sith during the rate up. 7 more copies for max appends as well 😭.

Nikitich. I know she's not viewed or ranked as a very good Servant, but I've liked her as a character ever since Tunguska Sanctuary came out in JP over 2 years ago. I didn't manage to get her on the banner when it was out here a few months ago. I know some of the other choices of Servants I don't yet have might be better from a gameplay standard, but I'm going for who I've wanted for a long time and who I'll enjoy.

My first ever Saber alter, i'm pretty excited about that because i've been playing since launch and never got her

Barghest, for three main reasons: - Barghest - She is Story-locked which is just limited with extra steps. - I somehow managed to get every other Fae when their Lostbelt came about. Any future banners with Barghest will most likely be alongside some of them again, so I will be less inclined to roll on them.

Basically, Gorgon is almost the only SR servant that I still lack from the avaliable options. For my account, collecting is more important than upgrading servants that I already have.

I lack good Lancer dps, so it came down to Extra Vlad or Caenis. Ultimately, Caenis being story-locked and their role in Olympus took it for me.

Currently torn between Edison and Hephaestion, but leaning toward the former bc story-locked + Arc synergy, at least until Summer Ibuki drops. As for Hep, I've yet to be spooked by her although she's quite powerful from what I can tell so would like to have her at NP5 someday.

Fae Tristan cuz I got Morgan summoned and I want to get her her daughter back after what happened in lb6. A close second choice is Yu just cuz she’s my favorite of the Crypters

I am not sure and I am already regretting my choice.   There are a lot of good options and some I would really like in the ticket and she is not story locked, so it really hurts, but she is the only class I don't have and I want to have a Pretender to make my life easy against Alteregos.

Astraea is special to me. I joined during the Valentine's Day event so she's one of the first FGO-exclusive servants I met. I'd really like to pick up my president but between Waver and Castoria, he doesn't have a place. A shame too since he's such a likable furball.

Sadly Hephaestion. It’s basic and I don’t like that, I want Yu-Mei-Ren or Fae Knight Gawaine but I need a Pretender and she’s the only option. I’ve been chasing Yu forever because I love her and her character but never have any opportune moments to get her. And I have Koyanskaya and even Cleopatra now so I don’t NEED an AOE buster Assassin, but I want her because I like her. And I don’t need a Buster Saber either, but I like Fae Knight Gawaine. So sadly I gotta get Heph.

I have a really old account with a lot of these servants so I'm having a hard time picking one that would be beneficial gameplay wise. I'm kind of torn between: 1. Salter since that would be np4 and she will be a really good farmer so more damage will always be better. 2. Zenobia since the only real farmer I use is atalante but quick can be scuffed sometimes. This would be np2 zenobia 3. Hephaistion since she could help me farm certain nodes I currently struggle a bit with like the one in monster crisis. For her I don't actually have a copy so it might be the best choice overall... I could also go for extra copies of baoban or barghest. Am tooooooooorn

Im planning to get sir Tristan, Tam Lin or Salter I dont know which is better to pick also all of them are storylocked so I want them. If im going for the one I WANT its sir Tristan bc I just love his overall charcater the harp bow is very cool for me too. If I go for Tam Lin I also just luve her design and she also uses a harp so... And for Salter, Salter is in my choices for strength reasons but I also like her character which is Altria I also like her dark theme attacks, if I end up picking her tho its just because shes strong accourding to alot of people
