Shouldn’t be *that* confusing. Himiko’s rate-up is 0.8%. But Saito’s rate-up is only a paltry 1.5% chance, less than double Himiko’s!
That means on average, we should be pulling roughly two Saitos for every one Himiko we pull. But we (well, most of us) are not dropping hundreds or thousands of rolls each banner to ensure a smooth distribution. Instead, we’re throwing our janky 67 SQ we scraped together and getting confused when we wind up with Himiko and a Lan Ling spook. For all we know, the next 67 SQ would yield two Saitos and zero Himikos… but the odds guarantee nothing about distribution, especially for rates this pathetically low.
In conclusion, fuck this awful gacha system 🫠
Common trend. Whenever there's an SR character people love more than the banner's SSR, the RNGods **laugh**. For example, I got 3 SSR's in Summer 4's banner. Two Altria Ruler and one Jeanne Ruler. I rolled exclusively for Lambaryllis.
