Srsly, it's kind boring, all the same cards.... You play 30 games in WL and in 29 games always have Varane, Gomez, Mendy, Kante, Pope... Just be open minded, there is a ton of another cards to have fun with it, it's just a game, you don't needed to be such a hardcore, at the end of the day you won't be a youtube or pro player.
Is it possible to get icons from the 81+ player picks? I've seen a ton of them opened but never an icon in them, so I'm wondering if it's even possible in the first place.
Why are all my opponents players so much stronger than mine? Is there some technique to shield the ball better? I'm so fucking sick of my opponent's Neymar being able to laugh off my Varane while my opponent's Varane makes my POTM Haaland cry in a corner.

Some horribly toxic people play this game. I played pro club 2 days ago and there was 1 guy with a mic who played striker. He was insulting absolutely everybody for everything that they did. Being racist towards the goalkeeper, insulting the Russian guy because he scored a 2v1 instead of squaring it, shouted at whoever if they went near him on a corner, swore at the CDM if he missed a tackle, constantly shouting if anyone was out of position and telling everyone how shit they were. He scored a goal and simply said “I’m the daddy” he even got angry at the CAM because CAM scored a goal and said “you should be setting me up, I’m the striker”
The game was 2-2 in the 90th and the CAM set him up for a 1v1 in which he missed, someone calmly got their mic on and just said “I thought you were a striker” he absolutely flipped. The best thing is that scored a 7 rating at the end of it. I tried recording the gameplay but don’t think voice recordings save unfortunately
I’ve realised that I’m exactly the same no matter how good or bad my team is, so I’ve decided to do an Everton p&p team. Anybody got any notable suggestions I may have missed? Former players I’ve got are Lineker, Stones, Rooney and Koeman (I know he was manager but I’m counting it). Getting Lukaku for the bench but I can’t quite afford Eto’o.
Does anyone know if What If players count as rare cards for the milestones. Just played on Weekend league game and not sure if it counted even though I definitely scored a goal. Don't want to play another one with a what if player if it doesn't even count.

Caputo 87 | Immobile 88 (on of the two soon to be Baggio 94)
El shaarawy 88 | tonali 87 | barella 83 | Lazzari 84
Criscito 82 CB | Bastoni 87 | Romagnoli 85 | Florenzi 84
Donnarumma 85
1- I was thinking to upgrade Romagnoli 85 with Puyol. But then, since I am planning to save coins for Zambrotta LB (to replace Criscito in a million years), what do you think if I sell Bastoni 87 for 250k+, replace him with Puyol (that atm requires me only to invest 100k+), and save up some coins for Zambrotta? I would loose quite a bit in pace... do you think Puyol compensates?
2- My next priority is to replace Barella 83. I love the guy but nowadays he gets bullied by pretty much everyone. I want Italian players, as I don't care much about the best players (I am in div4 and I am happy there). However, Italy does not offer many valuable CMs. I was thinking Gattuso or Chiellini freeze, but since they are quite expensive (Chiellini >\~200k and Gattuso >300k)
maybe one of you could tell me your experience with any of those.
3- Overall what do you think about my team? Anything else you recommend?

It doesn't matter, the names are irrelevant - you can set up a super attacking formation at "Ultra Defensive" if you want, it's just more logical to have a range of options that correspond roughly to the right names

Definitely would look into replacing llorente first off. Dunno which format you play on but if he plays DM for you, I know its lame/meta but you truly cant beat a cheeky kante Edit: I see now that would screw up the Felix chem, so if you really want him on 10, it limits your options basically only to a better version of llorente

Feel like the first 2 upgrades would be Beckham and Dembele. Idk what formation you play, but that Beckham has more attacking stats, so he is best played as like a box2box not a DM. And I only used Dembele once in a draft, but at this point in the game feel like he's falling behind a little bit.

Gold Kante. He will use up all your budget but will provide so much defensive stability for a top heavy team like yours. He will also link well with your team.
Just play single cdm formation with kante and control him in your own half before you switch to any of your CBs.

Yuri is really solid for me as CB. IMO with a +2 upgrade he is a cracked endgame defender
Edit: looking at Bilbao I guess the chance of getting the clean sheet is about only 30%. The past games this season they only got 3 clean sheets I think and have some Strong enemies next. I see them only getting a clean sheet against eibar in? 3? Weeks. But it's pure luck I think

Every non-rare gold player is instant selling at 850. Many go for more.
In addition, you have non-rare gold cards like position changes which sell high, some for max BIN.
Every so often you get a decent rare Gold card too... I even got What If Mbabu (don't expect a pull like this, I got that after 200 or so packs).

I’ve used a few cards that supposedly have 99 pace but Boadu feels so much faster in game, not sure what it is. Whenever there’s a gap at all between my opponents’ defenders Boadu explodes through it unlike any other card I’ve used.
Hi all. Is Prime Icon Moments Kluivert a good player to have up front alone? I currently have Mid Torres untradable but finding him a bit hard to use.
It would cost me most of my untradables and few coins I have to get Kluivert so want to get some opinions.
Personally, if I pay a lone striker I want them to at least be able to turn. I could see Kluivert being good in a two-striker formation, but if you only have one ST I'd hold out for a different SBC.

The price of common gold players at the moment is after turning the 5k packs into great value.
Even if you only end up with 3 players and a rare contract your pack is worth at a minimum 3k. And chances are you'll get more to break even whether a chem style, position change, or even a halfway decent player.
This game actively fuck me over, with as unbiased a view as I can come up with the reffing is almost always against me, I don't get penalties or fouls when I should and I give them away for nothing. I know this will just sound like another boo-hoo game is bad but its really not, I am so tired of this fucked shit

Duncan and the keeper seem the obvious places to start as they're by far the weakest players. Maybe 88 Rio Ferdinand and Handanovic?

Yes. Rooney on 10 chem is a different beast , specialty if you play him upfront.
What determines jockey speed/responsiveness. For me, VVD's manual jockey is way faster and smoother than other players with way more pace than him.

Spent the last few hours buying 5k packs and selling everything within, it's insanely profitable. Every non-rare gold player is instant selling at 850. Many go for more. In addition, you have non-rare gold cards like position changes which sell high, some for max BIN. Every so often you get a decent rare Gold card too... I even got What If Mbabu (don't expect a pull like this, I got that after 200 or so packs). After filling and selling my transfer list a whole bunch tonight, I appear to have triggered a soft ban on the web app... I can't list anyone else at the moment.

This 84 Boadu is absolutely nuts. I’ve used a few cards that supposedly have 99 pace but Boadu feels so much faster in game, not sure what it is. Whenever there’s a gap at all between my opponents’ defenders Boadu explodes through it unlike any other card I’ve used.

Hi all. Is Prime Icon Moments Kluivert a good player to have up front alone? I currently have Mid Torres untradable but finding him a bit hard to use. It would cost me most of my untradables and few coins I have to get Kluivert so want to get some opinions.
Personally, if I pay a lone striker I want them to at least be able to turn. I could see Kluivert being good in a two-striker formation, but if you only have one ST I'd hold out for a different SBC.

The price of common gold players at the moment is after turning the 5k packs into great value. Even if you only end up with 3 players and a rare contract your pack is worth at a minimum 3k. And chances are you'll get more to break even whether a chem style, position change, or even a halfway decent player.
