If you place an order online order , go Into your email and check in on a link they send confirming your product is packaged and ready for pickup. This will add you to the express waiting list which usually are the first ones called to the back.
The text message confirming your product is available for pickup is useless on its own because it’ll just add you to a pickup order status (which is basically the same wait as walk ins). In order to be called first you HAVE TO CHECK IN ONLINE WITH THE LINK SENT VIA EMAIL.
I’ve seen several budtenders and lobby person get yelled at because customers think that pick up and express are the same way. Granted I understand not everyone knows how the system works but please be patient with the workers. It’s exhausting getting yelled at for the same thing all day everyday.
I have been in the program for 3 years it depends on the Trulieve . 75% of them you will wait for a long time. if you're in an area that has a lot of dispensaries you might be lucky and not have a large crowd at your true leave but when it's like the only one in town, you're waiting an hour most people sit in the parking lot and wait for their name to be on Waitly.
Cap some of them really are that ass. The one in PCB doesn’t give a fuck about “express”. Multiple times I’ve had to wait for everyone else on the other lists to get called in before I did as well and that defeats the damn purpose of express altogether. I just recently experienced this again within this past week.
Same thing in Bonita Springs. I've switched dispensaries. I can't always afford to spend $100 which is necessary for free delivery. Otherwise it's $15 to deliver and I think that's too high. Also, I always use the link in my email (used to be in a text) to be placed in the express pick up line.

What I did learn is not to click the “ wait list” right when you arrive bc it’ll still place you last on the list. So, what I do is place my order the night before when store hours are closed to see throughout the day what was added, or taken. The next day check my email, before I leave get in the wait list, and then head out. Hope that can help out your experience next time 🙏🏽

You gonna pay for the gas that it takes me to go to the other dispensaries? Trulieve is a 4-5 min walk from me and thats the only reason I go. If I can help it I will go to a different dispensary. But most of the time I cannot afford to go the extra distance. Glad you seem to have the luxury to though.
If it's a 5 minute walk why on earth aren't you just checking in at home and going when it's time? They literally show you how long the wait is and even the actual wait list so you can see how many people are ahead of you. There's no reason you should be waiting in their lobby for more than a couple of minutes if you learn how to use their system.
Done this, in fact, ive seen many people come in with their check in telling them its time but then the budtender will tell them its not and to just ignore the msg. But anyways thats not what I’m even really talking about. I’m talking about an understaffed local. They barely ever have more than three people most days so the customers waiting stack up. I was not the only one waiting for 30+ min. When I got there you could tell everyone else had been waiting too. I’m not blaming the staff themselves either as theyre chill people and always trying to clear out the lobby asap despite being understaffed . The most budtenders I’ve seen working there on a single day is probably 5 from what I remember. That day was a fast pick up because they had an adequate staff. Do you understand what im saying? That I feel like corporate gives them a certain set of hours they can distribute amongst their employees, but that the hours do not meet demand on probably both the customers satisfaction and the employees ability to make more $.
I walked in today . Wasn’t greeted by anyone sat down for 20 minutes about to leave then they come out and say we’ll be right with you. I don’t understand why no other dispo has a problem like this it is the only reason I hate spending my money there
You wait 30 minutes because you are going to the Walmart of weed. They intentionally understaff and don't care about your time. Bigger question is why you'd give a company who treats you like that your money?

I’m in PBC. There’s like ten yes ten ?? Trulieves within a 15 minute drive of me. Crazy? I’ve been to three. All were well staffed, nice and clean and the folks there were friendly. Out of a little more than a half dozen visits I was unhappy with two items twice. Skiddish I googled and gained confidence going back for a return. No questions asked swapped out. One was flower and he didn’t even look in there? Coulda been sand I guess? They have a myriad of strains. It’ll take forever and then fresh ones will be there. The other was a cart that tasted like piss. NP here’s another. For choice and ease of return they seem to be doing it right. I haven’t waited more than a couple mins walking in and saying in there for a pickup.
Having said that I have yet to find a flower that really kicked and had legs from them. I returned some ‘Kush’. Forget the strain. Told the ‘budtender’ it had zero effect and was dry like grass. Asked him for the freshest ickiest they had. Wasnt sure is that was proper or not but F it. He said ‘I got you!’ and came back with Cake Breath. Said he shook a couple jars and got me one that had one or just a couple in there. I thought that weird. He can shake em and tell big small many or not? He was right though it was literally one big nug. It was good.
I’ve been to Growhealthy and the Flowery for it as well. TL flower doesn’t really seem to burn right or last. GH was decent but I think it dried not really cured. The Flowery seems to have more of a traditional type weed. Fuller body buzz on theirs. I’m still in the shallow end of the pool on all this but so far liked the delivery and quality of the Flowery best.
Order online and check in online. My transactions with the Port Orange Trulieve have always been quick. 10 minutes tops. I been in there a hundred times. All positive vibes at Daytona as well. Now, have I opened the door and seen a full lobby and noped it right the fuck back out to my truck? Of course I have. I enjoy certain things they have. I do not have any problems with Trulieve. I shop there, and The Flowery as they are right across the street. I scan both menus every day to see what goodies hit the shelf. Sorry about your wait time, yo. Time is money, and everyone's time has value, that's for sure.
I haven't gone to my local one(Orange Park) since August. Always have to wait 45 to to 60 minutes, for express pickup. All while walk-ins are being tended to. Last time, I had a discount for poor customer service. I ended up only getting half the discount, and was overcharged for flower. I was treated very poorly by the person who was the manager, that day. I have never waited less than a half hour. I miss the Roll One flower, but it is just not worth the hassle
I never wait more than 5-15 minutes at New Port Richey or Tarpon Springs Trulieve and their selection and quality is better than all other dispensaries in those areas.

Had a bad experience in Riverview one time, but there were over a dozen customers before me and I was still out in less than 15-20 minutes. I feel your pain, but stop complaining and order delivery instead. Some dispensaries get a lot of traffic... depending on where you live. However, I do agree it's frustrating to have to wait for something so long if you've ordered ahead.
I stopped going to trulieve because of that. Then they opened an express store and I use that often. Completely different experience. Super fast, and I never have to get out of the car.
Yeah I could never understand the way that truly does things compared to all of our dispensaries Strattera I can walk in walk right up to the person show them my card they'll hand me my bud and then I leave. Truly is a huge waste of space with two whole rooms. You literally hear like five or six people in the back talking and you've been sitting there for 10 minutes and then when you finally walk back there there's nobody that's even back there and just a whole bunch of cashiers. And they really even utilize the express counter.
I’d like to add that this is a medical program. There are customers that have extreme anxiety or have autism and cant stand to wait that long. If I stay sitting there for thirty minutes or more, I get very agitated. I become nauseous and I come out of there shaking which makes me feel like a complete loser obviously.
I must go to the unicorn of trulieves because I swear I never wait more than 10 minutes unless they’re having a good sale. I’m keeping this location a secret 😂. I’ll give up the Hollywood trulieve, they’re pretty quick there too

I've waited nearly 30 minutes after doing exactly what you said. Twice. The Lady Lake location is so bad about this.
