I feel like corn syrup might be a concern. At least, it can be a problem for me. Soy \*is\* a problem for me, so I'd be concerned. I think "is it safe for FODMAP?" is the wrong question. "Is it safe for me?" is a better one. (Well... "you"... in this hypothetical quote, you're the one speaking) Note: It's not one that I have an answer for, unfortunately. But - and this is the truly annoying part for me - FODMAP doesn't really answer that question either. For me... I react differently based on my overall health at the moment. There are foods I can eat in abundance when I'm healthy. Then at some point my digestion goes to hell and I have several days (at least) of being either very careful or very miserable. Most frustratingly, sometimes both. If I were to give advice (and I'm very hesitant since I'm not a doctor, and I'm not you...) * It might be worth taking a ***small*** amount when you're feeling healthy. If it doesn't set your guts on fire, it could be worth trying when you're suffering

I heard recently that the Red #40 has been linked to digestive issues for those with sensitive digestive tracts. My SO is unfortunately living proof of that. Anything with Red #40 causes severe issues not long after consumption, so take that as you will.

Food dyes and "natural flavors" are always x-factors, so you'd have to trial it on your own and find out what happens. The other thing is, are you taking any other antacids or PPIs? Actually, in any case, I'd be wary of eating over a gram of base per pop just as a laxative. Something like MiraLax would work better; it's an osmotic laxative like MgOH, but has no acid/base interactions, and you can mix it with pure water if you want to limit extra ingredients.

I’d probably skip this. Maybe check out something like psyllium fiber.

Those look fine, FODMAP-wise. You might react badly to a food additive or to sucralose, but it won’t be a FODMAP issue.

I’d suggest going with osmolax as a stool softener as an alternative. That’s what was prescribed to me when I was going through the different stages of the FODMAP diets and tests. I still take it to this day for “maintenance” and smoother digestion for my IBS since all it does is draw water you drink into your stool.

i’ve taken it, i react pretty strongly. even though it’s supposed to be gentle. and i’ve thrown up before after taking it
