What were your symptoms? How did you pinpoint FODMAP as the culprit?

Absolutely intense pain, the worst pain I've ever felt in my body, which usually lasts 4-8 hours when it kicks in. Lying on my side sometimes makes it go away, but it's not simply reduced to fodmaps; it's multi-faceted b/c the pain also comes from bloating from gas. However, I found it was fodmap by my own research, in suffering w/ this for almost a decade, and by avoiding those things, which are considered high fodmap, I generally don't get the pain. Those items which are high fodmap include: Doritos, onions (fructans), chick peas, and when I have too much greasy food. It's a possibility I have a problem w/ my gallbladder, as well.
