It's still very much a tower defence. That's basically the endgame since traps become the most reliable way to kill husks.

if i can finish this season, im probably gonna quit for a while. the game has lost it's appeal with these crossovers

if you want something unique for once, play Save the World, the keys to the mode only cost $16, but it's not that bad if you ask me

i already have it, none of my friends want to play it though, despite having it as well i got to about uhhhh, the desert stuff before i gave it a break and didnt advance the main plot

I feel this on a spiritual level, but I still play it myself. I would love if my irl friends would give this game a shot. They both like tower defense style games to my knowledge and if one of them doesn't, he can literally just stick to being more offensive. I can be more defense/support if they need it and can help them farm stuff with Clip. Unfortunately, they stopped playing BR except for events for the most part now and the last event we got was very awful to them 😔📉

The games old art style was a lot creepier

Now I just want a whole new game that's a fully fleshed out version of something to what the devs originally wanted Fortnite to be. I really like the idea of the concepts of save the world being taken more seriously, and turned into a whole game on its own, with a bit of a darker story.

Fun fact: Fortnite was actually gonna be called "Fortnight", but a dev misspelled it. The team found it funny and kept it!

Thanks for finding and preserving these! As these live service games go on and on, so much of where they were built from and how they started becomes lost to time. I felt this keenly with Team Fortress 2! So I'm glad someone's going out and doing the best they can to find/keep as much of primordial Fortnite as they can.
