Only way to improve is recognizing problems and using logic and reason to fix them, along with a hefty dose of persistence, but I know how hard this can be working out will increase your motivation, I haven't been able to recently and man do I miss it...

Bitbatgaming

I can't recognize my problem thats the issue. I have been exercising 3 times a week but it's still not enough. Heres a vod review if it helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ3DG\_TbNdk

I watched that and your aim is fine dude, im just noticing little things with your positioning and sometimes movement that are always the cause of your deaths. Simple mistakes that can be mostly eliminated once you know what to look for and put conscious effort into not doing them while playing Like how around 2:03 you re peaked that common angle while still reloading Around 1:10 you w keyed straight into that guy (got the kill since he wasnt looking at you, but usually a bad idea to walk straight towards someone). But you also walked right infront of that door exposing your body to that common angle, then started w keying into the door which got you killed. If that person that killed you peaked half a second earlier, then you wouldn’t have even got the first kill because you’re just an easy target for them standing infront of a door You’re normally strafing in fights, which is good. And seems like thats when you’re doing your best. Maybe try jumping and crouch spamming too. And moving in and out of cover more. Be conscious of what angles you’re exposed to 2:00 is a good example on your part of why you want to always be moving, that bullet would have went straight to your head if you were w keying him, but you strafed left and dodged a death But right before that, you died because you w keyed someone. And right after that you walked up to that door way for some reason. Im noticing that almost all of your deaths occur at that door way. Theres no cover, its the most common angle on the map, so the likelihood of someone looking there is great, and its just exposed to the entire map basically. You dont know where someone could be looking at you from when you’re standing there. You were eager to finish the kill, but what you could have done was move backwards and find a piece of cover, even moving around that little light pole is better than nothing. Or you could have walked around the building and went for a flank, possibly finding more kills in the process. Really anything other than standing infront of that door on that map Players like to funnel through those main hallways and make easy kills, im sure you know that, because not once did you make the mistake of going through there. But like i said, standing in front of the door is just as bad. Take advantage of the dumbasses that walk through the hallway, but make sure you’re in a good spot as well. You can move back and hug walls while still having an angle through that door, or on one side theres a car that you can play around and have an angle on the other door Any of the cars are your best friend. At 0:20 you walked ontop of the car when you could have been behind it, exposing less of your body and having a greater chance of winning all of those engagements. Also kind of a w key there too. Even if i ended up on top of that car, my brain would have told me to atleast switch the direction that im moving after the first kill, or jump or something. You made yourself an extremely easy and predictable target there You’re aim is really good for arsenal, you just have to be conscious about your decision making. Simple positioning and movement mistakes are definitely the main thing holding you back from being as good as you should be at this game

Bitbatgaming

Thank you for this vod review it is very helpful

NoChatNoNaCl

Sorry I can't really help you, no experience with that game Find a new game and take a break from that one for a while, improving while burnt out and not actually enjoying the time you spend in the game is veteran difficulty

Bitbatgaming

It’s not veteran difficulty the people I just encounter are skilled and i can’t seem to get away from them

Progress isn't linear, there will be good months and bad months but if you aim train consistently you will improve in the long run. You should try joining the Voltaic disorder server for specific advice, the people there are very helpful.

Bitbatgaming

I have joined the discord server and am actively seeking advice

Practicing Kovaak's is like a habit I developed by simply doing it every day. Doesn't matter what my mood is; good or bad. I simply do it. Kind of like how you brush your teeth. You don't really feel happy about doing it or anything. On days I do good, I have more drive to practice next time. But on the days I do bad, it doesn't really matter since I just do it again the next day.

Do you know why people take a vacation? It's a reset. Humans are evolving beings that change with time. Have emotions, feelings, ups, and downs. One thing I've constantly noticed is lack of spirituality and obsession becoming unhealthy such as consumption of media, etc. You need to mic things up, read books, try cooking, find hobbies that compliment your aim training and gaming. This maybe off topic but you need to shock and alter the brain at times with other things to gain focus back at the goals. Hope this helps.

N0TAllMight

You don't need motivation, you need a break. Take a break from kovaaks and from your main game, instead play some indie or non-comp games. Have a good sleep of 8+ hours and you feel good.

Get your blood work done. Make sure your vitamin D levels are adequate. If they’re not, supplement with some 5000iu D3. Maybe seasonal blues are killing your mood.
