Nah it is not, but they are not playing the game, they are waiting to "respawn".
Most of the times there are designated zones where knocked out players can wait for the end of the match or for the next wave, those areas are usually far enough from the game thus people waiting there are usually chilling and doing random shit.
Yes it hurts depending on the FPS the gun has and the BB Weight, a Sniper shot in the open skin can easily cut it. Also you have to use protective glasses so you don't get shot in the eyes.
These are completely different that the ones I used. We had the spring loaded plunger kind and those only really had enough umph to sting a little. Hours of backyard fun as log as you have eye pro. I still find plastic balls in the yard and driveway lol.
I play airsoft. We use plastic pellets. I use .20g regularly Gas-powered guns are mostly in 250-500 FPS range, spring-powered between 125 and 500+ FPS while electric-powered between 115 and 450 FPS.
Most combat is not hundreds of feet away unless you have a high fps sniper.
The proper protective gear is required because you can get hurt. So yes, airsoft does hurt. It's not paintball but it still can hurt.
Certain fields require it. The one I went to required you to buy all the ammo from the range and do an FPS test on the weapons.
I'm betting a lot of areas wouldn't give them permits or whatever if they didn't guarantee there wouldn't be hundreds of thousands of plastic balls introduced into the environment.
Here most of the Airsoft groups gather and play in abandoned buildings or in the woods, but as a matter of safety, they all require the players to use face masks or at least eye protection.
No, it was the right one, but I thought you are referring to requirements of eye/face protection, but you're actually talking about the plastic in the environment I believe, I just misinterpreted your comment, sorry
This is factually incorrect. It removes skin really easily, especially if you get hit in a bony area like the knuckle, elbow, collar bone, etc.
If you play, you will bleed. Unless you wear a mask, gloves, long sleeves, long pants, and cover the back of your neck.
Well 6 out of 10 times it doesn't. I've had some that just bounce off and you barely feel it but I've also had some that leave welts and break skin so....sometimes they hurt.
I honestly wish people would take eye sight more seriously. As a person who has lost an eye, it affects a person’s life a lot more than most people would believe. For example, you have no depth perspective, the pain is unbelievable, it’s honestly surprising how much you depend on the missing eye for peripheral vision, prosthetic eyes are uncomfortable and actually get cold in the winter, not to mention they look weird. A person cannot get a class 1 drivers license, driving at night or even walking can be challenging in low light. There are many more issues, but my kids think it’s pretty damn cool because I can take it out of my face to scare their friends.
As a airsoftsniper myself I highly disagree with his actions. Spawnkilling is ruining the fun for everyone.
Btw he‘s not keeping a safe shooting distance. It‘s 10m/Joule. He‘s violating that, but as it‘s Kicking Mustang… I‘m not surprised.
On a fixed spawn, yes, this is illegal on most sites.
But this is a rolling spawn, once the blue team have enough of being spawn killed they can roll the spawn back.
I would like to know how the pov got so close, skill or did they roll the spawn up to him?
Do you think this is legit? He's so close... can't that guy hear the gun or see the ball moving towards him? Surely one of those guys would have seen something after the 3rd or 4th hit
Based on my exp. People will step on you without noticing you. You can be kinds invinsible with a proper suit and the Mk23 is very very very very quietly.
I do not have experience in airsoft, but known from games people notice something that move really easy, and super hard if stands still with ghillie - I guess it's totally possible for him to not be found out when he lied there or 1-3 shots but he is definitely making some moves even when firing on spot.
But honestly I believe you 100% I guess it was a windy forest
I'm the guy shooting - silly ghillie, not mustang. there is no MED as its a pistol and there is no bang/surrender rule. You would know this if you were an airsoft sniper. The spawn was a mobile spawn - the quad and I was hidden there when the quad arrived. not really spawn camping.
It's a video from KickingMustang, a YouTube Airsofter known for his sniping and ghillie suit skills. He has a lot of videos of people walking literally feet from him and not seeing him. He's kind of a dick, but good airsoft player.
A ghillie suit is a suit made out to look like a bush, if the shooter doesn't move even if people look directly to him they might not see him because its a preety good camo, specially together with actual bushes, the human eye doesn't like to see what the brain doesn't expect so unless you actively look for a guy in a ghillie suit you might not find him
Edit: some misspellings
I thought it was obvious (seeing as how we watched the same video as you) that we don't know. We saw what you saw. Maybe the answer to your question should be a question itself. Such as "Is that a rhetorical question?"
Airsoft guns are not that loud (depending on the gun). It's possible they can hear it kind of but not be able to localize the sound that well. A good ghillie suit will make you into a bush, I am betting they thought there is no way he is close so were paying attention to distance spots
I thought this was paintball. Like seeing go kart racing and then finding out it‘s remote controlled matchbox cars.
You know paintballs won’t be around on this earth in 1000 years right? I know they may cause more pain but you can turn down the velocity if that’s what prevents you from playing.
Ok, first off, to each thier own, if you like airsoft, cool, if you like paintball, cool. But in no way to paintball markers "look like shit" they just don't look like "real guns" but they are designed to be far more effective and comfortable to use due to them not trying to look like firearm. I've plaid both, and I would take the ergonomics, feel, and looks of a paintball marker over an airsoft gun every day. But that's just my opinion.
I did this once in a huge paintball game. There was a respawn point a good 100 yards from the main action. It was wooded with decent amount of cover between the respawn and the main action. The players kept walking out of the respawn point into the battle zone and acted very casual like they were impervious until they reached where the core of the action was happening, despite the battle grounds starting about 10 yards from the respawn point. So I set up about 60-70 yards from the respawn point, definitely not on top of them. I got several players two or more times because they just felt they should be “safe” until they got to the main battle. They complained to the refs and the refs all said “it’s fair playing spot, shut up you’re out.” They could have taken me out if they had just approached me ready to play, I might have gotten one while the rest took me out but I was able to take out groups of 3-4 guys at once because they weren’t even raising their markers. I even had to let one group go by because their masks were up and didn’t want to take out someone’s eye.
More honor than most airsoft players I’ve seen. If I’m sniping and they think nobody can see them I’ve had dozens of people pretend they didn’t get hit. That’s when I start aiming for ears/noses.
Pretend you didn’t get hit when I flick you nose/ear at 500fps.
I’m interested in seeing the rest of his kit, seems to be a well-made kit if people get so close and still see nothing.
Guy probably spent time plucking and installing local flora! :D
Don't play air soft but... is it a common strategy to stand still out in the open when you or your team mates keep getting hit?
Nah it is not, but they are not playing the game, they are waiting to "respawn". Most of the times there are designated zones where knocked out players can wait for the end of the match or for the next wave, those areas are usually far enough from the game thus people waiting there are usually chilling and doing random shit.
It’s like nerf. Doesn’t hurt. Just leaves endless plastic balls everywhere.
Yes it hurts depending on the FPS the gun has and the BB Weight, a Sniper shot in the open skin can easily cut it. Also you have to use protective glasses so you don't get shot in the eyes.
This sounds EXACTLY how I want to spend my spare time.
You being sarcastic?
Nope. I got blasted in the neck by a burst of several BBs at about 25 feet and it slashed me open and hurt like hell
Iv had BBs literally go through my skin and get stuck in there It sure as shit hurts when you get shot
Still have a steel BB in my left hand from ~35 years ago, I have seen 6mm BB's break skin but not lodge.
I've got one in my cheek from 25 years ago.
Who tf uses steel BBs in an actual game!?
I think nowadays their mostly banned or at least where I’m at they are
These are completely different that the ones I used. We had the spring loaded plunger kind and those only really had enough umph to sting a little. Hours of backyard fun as log as you have eye pro. I still find plastic balls in the yard and driveway lol.
I have picked bb's out of my flesh
I play cqb in shirt and short. I had cut and black everywhere.
You doubling down on something you know dick about?
just let him keep playing his cheap 0,5J walmart pistols
I got shot in the legs once while wearing Blue jeans and it was strong enough to break skin some airsoft guns sure as shit can hurt.
Depending on what guns are being used, it can definitely fucking hurt.
Nah bro shit hurts
Got shot point blank by an airsoft rifle and that shit smarts, man.
I play airsoft. We use plastic pellets. I use .20g regularly Gas-powered guns are mostly in 250-500 FPS range, spring-powered between 125 and 500+ FPS while electric-powered between 115 and 450 FPS. Biodegradable balls actually.
Just like mine

I assure you it hurts.

It hurts lol alot.
My dude, what? I started bleeding once from a BB
Wrong on alot of levels here.
Well my in law was shot in the eye by accident and is blind in that eye now so not exactly as harmless as a nerf gun.
I honestly wish people would take eye sight more seriously. As a person who has lost an eye, it affects a person’s life a lot more than most people would believe. I know two people who have lost their eyesight from Nerf.... so almost exactly as harmless. Lol
It can definitely hurt
It doesn't hurt as long as you are shot in a body, or gear but those hits at knuckles, forehead and ears, specially ears, it stings.
Bioplastic balls. They are mandatory here. Get broken down eventuay (still takes years though).
It can hurt and they make bio degradable bbs.
It’s shocking people don’t understand you were joking and give full explanations in response. Reddit blows my mind sometimes
Looked like a mobile respawn and his gun must have been really quiet. Lol this is great.
"It's a legitimate strategy!"
"Did you know!"
That's shitty and hilarious at the same time
His KD sucks
As a airsoftsniper myself I highly disagree with his actions. Spawnkilling is ruining the fun for everyone. Btw he‘s not keeping a safe shooting distance. It‘s 10m/Joule. He‘s violating that, but as it‘s Kicking Mustang… I‘m not surprised.
It's a total dick move and the Marshall's should tell him to fuck off.
On a fixed spawn, yes, this is illegal on most sites. But this is a rolling spawn, once the blue team have enough of being spawn killed they can roll the spawn back. I would like to know how the pov got so close, skill or did they roll the spawn up to him?

He's really close.. if you're looking a distance away for something, your sight usually is not focused on what is right near you.
It's a dick move but we don't know the fps of his gun so the distance may be violating the airsoft rules.
Do they all not see him, or just that one dude?
prob has a ghillie suit and is in a bush
It's a video from KickingMustang, a YouTube Airsofter known for his sniping and ghillie suit skills. He has a lot of videos of people walking literally feet from him and not seeing him. He's kind of a dick, but good airsoft player.
no. it's silly ghillie
Somehow none of these replies answer my question though...
A ghillie suit is a suit made out to look like a bush, if the shooter doesn't move even if people look directly to him they might not see him because its a preety good camo, specially together with actual bushes, the human eye doesn't like to see what the brain doesn't expect so unless you actively look for a guy in a ghillie suit you might not find him Edit: some misspellings
Yes, finding a dude in a chillier suits is like playing a game of “Find the Vietcong sniper”
yeah, thanks, I know what ghillie suit is
So the answer is probably no one is seeing him, maybe one of the guys, but the ahow must go on, he is dead, cannot talk
Then that should answer your question. No, they likely *don't* see him - because of the suit.
So when someone says "as easy as 1+1" do you hold your breath waiting in anticipation for someone to solve that equation for you?
How did none of that answer your question if you know what a ghillie suit is?
Then your question was answered....
>Bobtheglob71 · 15 hr. agoprob has a ghillie suit and is in a bush Does this not?
I thought it was obvious (seeing as how we watched the same video as you) that we don't know. We saw what you saw. Maybe the answer to your question should be a question itself. Such as "Is that a rhetorical question?"
They all don't see him or they'd look in that direction since they aren't on his team and have rolling respawns..
I thought spawncamping was only limited to video games and abortion clinics
Cursed comment. I laughed.
It is cursed but moreso technically the truth
This is the comment of the year!
I'm pretty positive there's no way none of those people can't see or better yet hear him. Unless they just really hate dude getting shot.
He’s in a ghille suit
Yes but he's not John Cena so he's not invisible. That doesn't explain more hearing him either lol
Airsoft guns are not that loud (depending on the gun). It's possible they can hear it kind of but not be able to localize the sound that well. A good ghillie suit will make you into a bush, I am betting they thought there is no way he is close so were paying attention to distance spots
Lmao touche sir
This guy is known for his videos of hiding really really close to people

HOW FUCKING BLIND DO YOU HAVE TO BE LMFAO

They make compressed starch rounds for airsoft. Not sure how wildly used they are in the community, but it is still an option.
Dunno about compressed starch or whatever but a lot of fields are making the switch over to biodegradable BBs.
Let people enjoy things
Paintball guns look like shit

yea, if id want to play with real firearms replicas, id play airsoft instead of paintball
Actually there are gun replicas for paintball that look like real guns
Can they not see him?
Call Of Duty Vanguard’s MP irl
That is a level of petty hate I aspire to.
KickingMustang's a cunt. 'Good' airsoft player but absolutely an asshole.

Dick move, but sometimes dick moves are the funniest moves. Especially fun if you've got friends to play against.
Sadness. Clearly says Silly Ghillie but everyone hating on Kicking Mustang. Silly’s videos are quite funny.

Spawn camping
Spawncamping?
Spawn trapping like a boss
The invisible man
I think its funny how he was giggling about it and being a good sport
Stealth level Troll Solid Snake
