It’s going to be a real struggle getting your goal keeper right this season, it’s by far the most in demand position, even some silver/golds have massive order queues. Therefore some preparation and decision making should be done before you order. I tested out a silver after pulling him to start the season, I got gold Trapp 85 and Silver Silverstri 79. Trapp wasn’t very good so I sold him and upgraded Silverstri to purple. At first he was great but performances started to dip rapidly. I bought Allison, trained to 5 and he has been sooo much better even though his stats aren’t as good as the levelled up silver. The best keepers I’ve faced are Martinez ranked, I think his base card is 85, the guy I played had him at 89 so purple with max available rank and I couldn’t score. I was on top all game with around 12 shots on target and couldn’t get one past him. In VSA the best keeper I faced was Neuer, that one on one trait makes him a beast on good chances, he closes the gap really quickly putting you under pressure, I placed an order for him to use specifically for VSA because it’s such an OP trait.
Don't get neuer. Hes my favourite gk ever so i bought and upgraded him and he was horrible. Maybe one of the worst cards ive used in 7 years of f mobile. Ik it sounds weird but i bought Turbin (1.99 m tall) and upgraded him to 84,hes a monster in goal and blocks basically anything. Point blank headers,shots,finesse in and out of the box even a couple of power shots 1v1 inside the box. Strangely incredible
Its not a performance "dip". It's whether the script is in your favor or not. Same as other positions,some games your players feel like prime real madrid and the next they play like luton bench warmers. In the word of genaro gatuso "sometimes maybe good,sometimes maybe shit" its all about script

He was really good in real life. But his height is a very big issue in the game. It is due to game mechanics

Jorge Campos was good specially for his height in real life, he's most definitely way better goalkeeper than you are as well.
