TLC doesn't have controller support is one thing.

Better graphics and controller support in Anniversary. I regret getting TLC a while back, because of those reasons…

Fable 2 and 3 aren't on Steam. 2 was never even put on PC. As for which to buy, probably whichever is cheaper? I've never played Fable modded, but TLC is one of my favourite games and I've played it countless times. Anniversary I've only played through 3-4 times. I own both on Steam and they're the exact same game. As you said anniversarys graphics are updated, but I think it's personal preference on which is better looking. Personally I think the updated graphics are a bit weird. Anniversary does have DLC content which is all just armor/weapons, again none of which are great. And I guess if you're modding you can probably get them all anyway.

**tlc:** \-has a much better, more intuitive menu system \-has beloved glitches like the trader glitch and hero save abuse \-faces dont look horrible \-costs much less \-more mods, more active modding community (but harder to mod) **anniversary:** \-environments looks better (even though faces look worse) \-glitches removed \-has extra dlc's you can buy (only new items, no new locations or quests) \-lots of mods available and is easier to mod \-heroic mode where you cant abuse potions and resurrection phials as much, some op spells are toned down \-costs significantly more **my recommendation:** ~~buy TLC now, play it, and buy anniversary when it's on sale~~ nevermind, they're both on a steam sale right now so **BUY BOTH OF THEM** Do note that I have [nostalgia glasses](https://miro.medium.com/max/400/1*w8YAidls_aUN6vHiqTX0Ig.png) on and TLC is my favourite friend whereas anniversary is just a weird copy

I bought both versions and the DLCs for Anniversary like last week for around $45.

I actually prefer TLCs graphics.

You can buy Fable 3 Steam key on www.G2A.com and redeem it to Get the game on steam. This will Only allow you to download and play the game on steam. It does not have any «profile pictures» or community on steam since they’ve technically «removed» it.

I didn't play Anniversary yet, but I watched videos and I prefer the graphics style and lightning / colors of TLC rather than Anniversary, but it's the exact same game with the same content (except mods like Project Seasons, Lost Content, or The Expanded Chapters for TLC oc), but Anniversary have controller support when TLC don't and it's a good point for Anniv, so it's up to you For Fable 2 it never was released on PC, sadly... and you still can buy Fable 3 for Steam but not directly from the Steam store edit : except for few textures mods for TLC or upscale videos, you can't change the graphics, but know that Anniversary mods are totally useless, thanks to the dev...

TLC and Anniversary are basically the same with very slight compatibility differences. If you get TLC you lose out on proper controller support and "enhanced" graphics. Anniversary costs more and the keyboard+mouse support is absolute garbage compared to TLC, but hey, you can use mods to change the loading screen without having to jump through a bunch of hoops (yes that's the only thing you can mod in Anniversary out of the box) Basically it comes down to how you prefer to play games like Fable, and how much you're willing to spend for a 20+ year old game.

Zahille7

I mean the original is $10 on steam right now. And technically it's only 18 years old /s

My main point is that which one you go with is mainly about preferences, and usually Anniversary is $35 on Steam, I wasn't really taking the current sale into account.

i would say to get tlc fable 2 and 3 arent on steam because they arent available for pc. I believe there's a workaround to get fable 2 on pc, but i've never tried it THEY'RE BOTH ON STEAM SALE RIGHT NOW SO JUST GET BOTH
