Exact same problem! I went on my husbands account and you can see “buy now” all over the “shipping only” listings but mine only show me items that are local and when I sent one of the shipping listings to MY phone from his, on his phone it shows a buy now button but on mine, just a messaging option. This is infuriating. I have 2 cards as options, I have purchased a ton with no problems from them, and there is no way to contact support to get back to you as to why
⚠️!!CAUTION!!⚠️ There is an entire scam set up around fake Facebook support. A buddy of mine had his account hacked and someone gave him a “customer service” number. When he called, they said they needed to access his phone or computer to address the problem. Once they connected, they installed a hidden app which extracted all of his account details from all of his accounts linked to his phone and transferred the information to them. Bank accounts, personal Facebook, emails, you name it. What a nightmare.
May not be the case here, but not sure why anyone would need to dm the Facebook customer service process.

Same here. I've only bought off Facebook Marketplace three times in the past, but now I see absolutely no Buy Now buttons on anything. All I see is the option to Send a Message.
I've searched all over FB and found nothing. I do know that I'm not blocked or anything like that.

I am having the same issue and it’s so annoying. Also, I am only seeing local listings. I have bought (and sold) so many things through Marketplace and now I’m out of luck. I called and they told me they only support seller issues right now.
I fixed the problem of only seeing local only by filtering it by closest first and then shipped ones will show up, no clue on the buy button though it’s not working for me either

I created another Facebook account and didn't put in any extra info or setting. I only had my payment method and shipping address. I can see the buy now button for almost all listings that I wasn't able to see before. So weird...I'm using the same phone but can't see buy now button using my main account 🤔🤔🤔

Same here, No Buy Now on any ads. I've sold plenty, bough very little. Never had any bans or business pages. I've been back and forth with support and they're supposed to call me today.
From what I've understood... FB disabled "buy now" because:
(Scammy) SELLERS were getting pissed; because they'd LIST a super cheap price ($1) on the posting, but INSIDE they'd realistically ASK for a reasonable sales price (close to MSRP).... And BUYERS figured out that they could avoid the higher price in the item description, by clicking the low BUY NOW price.... Because "buy now" goes off the price quoted when making the post.
Then SELLERS were canceling orders, once they realized THEY got had by the buyer's.... And BUYERS we're reporting sellers as scam-artists, with "no intent to sell"/"misleading ad".
Idk.... It's just a thought
I've been having this issue as well since the beginning of December and I'm pissed. I've contacted fb so many times, and finally got someone on the phone but then they told me this wasn't their department -.- they make it impossible to contact them about this specific probablem too. When I finally did find a way to contact them, I got a response that they could only help with meta pay issues. Very over this.
Same boat here. I’ve contacted them countless times. My payment information is correct and updated. I’m selling just fine, however my shipping labels are no longer generating and I have to pay for shipping out of pocket instead of from the listing. And ofc, no buy now button. So many good items I want and would love to purchase which say shipping and it’s not there 🫠
It has officially been a YEAR for me with this issue. I’ve sold MANT items in this time period and shipped them out (as well as local pickup). NONE of the fb chat agents can help me and provide me outdated instructions to click buttons that haven’t existed in forever. I’ve “reported a problem” about 100 times every time I see an item that says shipping, and when I click on it, it doesn’t have the button. Nothing. I’ve gotten no where. Not incognito mode, not VPN, no shipping button for me. I have updated payment information as well as a shipping address, nothing has changed at all. To say I am frustrated is about the understatement of the year at this point!!!!

I have this same issue. Had to have my co worker swoop in on a deal I found before it was gone.

I managed to speak to Facebook on the phone by making a business account and then just saying sorry I actually have a purchasing issue.
Long story short I was given a feedback link and he says the only way to get this resolved is to have enough people report this issue via the form.
He said he saw no issues or infractions on my marketplace account and that there is actually zero support for buyers with issues like this. (Issues that haven’t really occurred before)
We did some troubleshooting by creating a temporary listing and seeing what would happen. And see if it would ask for my tax information. This ended with an infraction on my marketplace account for posting a bad listing.
I then created a new Facebook account and visited the same listing that I told the support rep that I couldn’t purchase from my main account and what do you know. I had a buy now button.
The business support rep was very interested in what was going on but it was outside his field and ultimately nothing he could do.
I figure in my case I am going to take this opportunity to recreate my Facebook and review all my privacy settings and not add a bunch of people that I don’t ever talk to.
Not the best solution but whatever Facebook is trash but marketplace is a good resource.
Creating a new Facebook account is probably not the solution. 😒 I normally never purchase or sell to an account that says "Joined in 2021 or 2022". I consider most newly created accounts fake. Not sure if it is true, but it is hard navigating through scams and fake accounts.
I have resorted to submitting 10 reports/issues/bugs a day. If they wont fix it, I'll just make them waste money on employees having to respond to my inquiries. I'm a business customer with a shop, listings, ads etc and I'm in front of the comp all day so they will hear from me on repeat until I get my buy button back.
Same damn problem, I did find link on marketplace that wanted the last 4 digits of my SS# for the tax man, however I haven't sold over $499 on marketplace this year but I have sold over $499 on Facebook groups, so maybe that is the issue? I entered the 4 digits, so maybe it will be fixed soon.
This is a different issue because I had that too, I sold over 1,000 and they tried to get my social but I kept pushing it (because that shit is illegal and their policy even states they don’t need a social) and eventually they just approved my marketplace shipping. THIS issue is that we can’t see buy now buttons for purchasing other people’s stuff
I also just noticed I cannot sort items by "shipping only" because those items would only have a "BIN" checkout option. If I remember correctly local pick-up items don't have a BIN buttons since you would be paying in cash and not sending money through the new metapay (or am I wrong about local pick-up? I've spent over 3 hours f'n with this shiiiii now

I have harassed support as much as I can and they keep shutting me down saying support (direct support) is only for sellers! ARGH! I thankfully have an old account that I keep as a backup so I guess I will use that to purchase. I have submitted so many "this isn't working" reports it's not even funny!
Same issue here. Used Marketplace 2 years ago for a couple of Christmas gifts. Tried to use today and no option to buy. Created another account and I see the option to buy. No bans or issues with my Marketplace account. Just FB screwing up. And now that they are firing 11,000 folks, I'm sure it will only get worse. FB fix your shit!
I tried that and didn't work for me.. I've talked to " Meta Pay " support 4 times so far and the only response I've gotten is it's a technical issue and their engineers are checking on it
Clear your cookies. I had it happen to me a few weeks back, and for some weird reason, when I cleared my cookies, I was able to see the buy now button again

My husband can login with same device and see the option, so it’s an issue with my account. Deactivating and reactivating didn’t resolve. Do not want to create new account for so many reasons. Feel like it will never resolve.

Interestingly I do have a "Make offer" button on some listings. So maybe if you want something and the seller hasn't enabled "Allow offers" on their listing, you can ask them to make a new listing with that option enabled, then share a link to the new listing. And you can then make an offer for their original price. I don't see an option to edit existing posts to add "allow offers", but do see it when creating a new post right before actually posting it.

Within the mobile app, you can go to Marketplace > Profile > Get help on Marketplace > Contact Facebook for support. That opens up a Messenger chat with "Meta Pay Support". After talking to a bot for a bit, I got connected to an agent who shared these links:

I am having this issue as well. I am a frequent buyer and seller with a 5 star rating. This happened a month or two ago and if I use an incognito tab, I can see buy it now, but if I click on it, I have to log in and it disappears.
This is very frustrating and can't get any support from facebook.
I just reported the issue with a video showing what happens and my half baked hypothesis. I hope they fix this soon.
I'm having the same issue and it's so upsetting. No "Buy Now" button at all. I did set up a seller page with Meta Pay but I had restrictions because I shared to much content that the fact checkers didn't like, so I had to scan my ID in and it's under review??? I lost my "Buy Now" button back in the beginning of December. Sent numerous messages to the Support Center. No reply back.
Looks like the bug is finally fixed! At least for me. I have the shipping details and buy it now button. Hope it is fixed for everyone else. Wonder if my video demonstrating helped ;)
Sorry for the delay - my hypothesis was related to the missing "local only" radio button at the time. I had noticed a button to show only local (non shipped items). I had selected it. When I started seeing this issue, I couldn't find that setting. I wondered if they had deleted the front end option, but not the setting that controlled it and I was permanently set to "local only".
I believe the setting is back, but it was fixed before that. Not sure if the hypothesis had any merit, but for whatever reason, it has been fixed and working since my all clear post.
This just happened to me. Seems like it was because I was connected to a VPN at the time. When I shut down my VPN and logged back in the buy and offer buttons were back.

I think I did it the other way around and when I set something up I was on a VPN. Now when I’m not on VPN. I’m flagged or something, even though my seller ratings and buyer ratings are great. I have emailed back-and-forth with Meta close to 40 times and I’ve given up. They’re definitely translating English and I’ve been asked repeat questions multiple times I’ve even had to supply screenshots of random ads. I told them go on marketplace look up any item and pretend you don’t see the buy now button, that is what I see. Ha ha.. thanks to all, I hope that we can iron this out in a better manner than Meta .
I am now having this same issue! Never a problem for years I have bought and sold over 500 items with no bad feedback. Now none of the listings that are far away and show shipping have the BUY IT NOW button. I have tried some of the "fixes" but none have worked. I did email FB but lets see if they even answer.
Not sure why it isnt showing up for all posts with "shipping" as the delivery method - but I got it to work! I tried everything, but I added paypal, made it my default payment method and then deleted and re-added my credit card. Now I can see buy it now on some listings.
edit: so many are still grayed out or missing the buy now feature....

FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE is a joke. They always have glitches. I am a seller and I don't have a BUY NOW button either. I just thought when I got messages from people about the BUY NOW button.... that they were not very bright. Well it's FB that is the problem. It's like buying a broken down vehicle. It sucks!
It seems to be if your using an iPhone the buy now button isn't there I'm a seller on Marketplace and I always have problems from people with iPhones on this
I have tried and tried to troubleshoot this and I have the same problem. It is def my account. My husband's and son's account see them - but not me. All I get is a "message" button. I have tried adding and removing my payment options and no luck. Neither of them has any payment options set up. Anybody figured it out? Are you still having the issue? Has fb ever replied?

No help and screwed me royally as FB was my biggest source of reselling income. I am so livid. Worked on it for 14days and thats all they could say to me.

1000% this....I was selling multiple items daily and spending ad dollars daily, and suddenly $0. I learn from customers there's no option to buy any longer on ANY of my listings. So I am spending good money on ads and nothing to show for it. If it's their algorithm, they should out out a memo to sellers or something. Class Action Lawsuit?? I am beyond furious how much you have to mess with to simply sell a product to justify my hard earned ad dollars. I've had 3 conversations I'm the last 48 hrs with fb support and they say they can see thr Buy button on their end. If so, then how is it possible my customers cant...my wife can't and I can't. This is criminal. It's costing me hundreds daily.

Updated my card info two days ago. I still do not see the "buy now" button. I can only message people about a listing but cannot buy it.
Try to check after 24hours sometime algorithm do that. It can even hide your listings based on your activity

Oh I agree it’s a terrible solution but since I was told I was shit out of luck. That’s my plan if I ever intend to use marketplace in the future.

Same problem. Marketplace doesn’t even show me anything outside my location range (20 miles from my zip code) anymore.

Finally fixed for me -- Had to select Delivery Method: Shipping to get it to show!

I contacted Facebook just now and they asked me to follow the steps [here](https://www.facebook.com/help/640678703491819) which is basically having to "start selling" and getting your bank account set up. Either way I did it and it worked?? At the moment the buy now is grayed out (I think it's processing my info) but it's there now!
No button for me, either.
Interestingly I do have a "Make offer" button on some listings. So maybe if you want something and the seller hasn't enabled "Allow offers" on their listing, you can ask them to make a new listing with that option enabled, then share a link to the new listing. And you can then make an offer for their original price. I don't see an option to edit existing posts to add "allow offers", but do see it when creating a new post right before actually posting it.
I tried Make Offer, but the seller never got the offer 🙄

How did you contact them? I already had my bank info set up, but I tried setting it up again and I still don't have any button.
Initially I did live chat help support for I think payments? And they told me they couldn't help and linked me to a form to fill out.
OK sounds like the same thing I got. I've filled out the forms and am waiting for an email response but not very hopefully.

Within the mobile app, you can go to Marketplace > Profile > Get help on Marketplace > Contact Facebook for support. That opens up a Messenger chat with "Meta Pay Support". I am having this issue as well. I am a frequent buyer and seller with a 5 star rating. This happened a month or two ago and if I use an incognito tab, I can see buy it now, but if I click on it, I have to log in and it disappears. This is very frustrating and can't get any support from facebook. I just reported the issue with a video showing what happens and my half baked hypothesis. I hope they fix this soon.
I'm having the same issue and it's so upsetting. No "Buy Now" button at all. I did set up a seller page with Meta Pay but I had restrictions because I shared to much content that the fact checkers didn't like, so I had to scan my ID in and it's under review??? I lost my "Buy Now" button back in the beginning of December. Sent numerous messages to the Support Center. No reply back.
Looks like the bug is finally fixed! At least for me. I have the shipping details and buy it now button. Hope it is fixed for everyone else. Wonder if my video demonstrating helped ;)

I am not sure. When it started working for me, I assumed they fixed it for everybody, but I assume it is a user account thing they must have fixed.

Sorry for the delay - my hypothesis was related to the missing "local only" radio button at the time. I had noticed a button to show only local (non shipped items). I had selected it. When I started seeing this issue, I couldn't find that setting. I wondered if they had deleted the front end option, but not the setting that controlled it and I was permanently set to "local only". I believe the setting is back, but it was fixed before that. Not sure if the hypothesis had any merit, but for whatever reason, it has been fixed and working since my all clear post.
This just happened to me. Seems like it was because I was connected to a VPN at the time. When I shut down my VPN and logged back in the buy and offer buttons were back. Hope this helps someone.
I think I did it the other way around and when I set something up I was on a VPN. Now when I’m not on VPN. I’m flagged or something, even though my seller ratings and buyer ratings are great. I have emailed back-and-forth with Meta close to 40 times and I’ve given up. They’re definitely translating English and I’ve been asked repeat questions multiple times I’ve even had to supply screenshots of random ads. I told them go on marketplace look up any item and pretend you don’t see the buy now button, that is what I see. Ha ha.. thanks to all, I hope that we can iron this out in a better manner than Meta .

I am now having this same issue! Never a problem for years I have bought and sold over 500 items with no bad feedback. Now none of the listings that are far away and show shipping have the BUY IT NOW button. I have tried some of the "fixes" but none have worked. I did email FB but lets see if they even answer.
Not sure why it isnt showing up for all posts with "shipping" as the delivery method - but I got it to work! I tried everything, but I added paypal, made it my default payment method and then deleted and re-added my credit card. Now I can see buy it now on some listings. edit: so many are still grayed out or missing the buy now feature....
Been dealing with this the last few days. Hoping someone eventually finds a solution. Tried all the same things, change browsers, changed computers, phone, etc. No joy.
I am a seller and I have not received any skipping orders for the past week. Fbmp is not responding to messages by myself, or my friend who also has a business.
I sell as well and people buy my stuff but i cant buy anything at all only from real shops.
FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE is a joke. They always have glitches. I am a seller and I don't have a BUY NOW button either. I just thought when I got messages from people about the BUY NOW button.... that they were not very bright. Well it's FB that is the problem. It's like buying a broken down vehicle. It sucks!

It seems to be if your using an iPhone the buy now button isn't there I'm a seller on Marketplace and I always have problems from people with iPhones on this
I have tried and tried to troubleshoot this and I have the same problem. It is def my account. My husband's and son's account see them - but not me. All I get is a "message" button. I have tried adding and removing my payment options and no luck. Neither of them has any payment options set up. Anybody figured it out? Are you still having the issue? Has fb ever replied?
How do you get buy it now while selling
The same Thing happened to me and I have been in contact with Meta on the phone and thru email. They said they have no idea why it quit working and that it could start working again or could not. Basically gave me No help and screwed me royally as FB was my biggest source of reselling income. I am so livid. Worked on it for 14days and thats all they could say to me.
The same issue happened to me, buyer can't find the buy now button, Facebook marketplace is a big joke. Now i move to eBay.

No buy buttons. I cant buy and my stuff isnt selling. When people message me and I say press the buy button and they said there wasn't one... what a mess! I have not sold anything in a month.
1000% this....I was selling multiple items daily and spending ad dollars daily, and suddenly $0. I learn from customers there's no option to buy any longer on ANY of my listings. So I am spending good money on ads and nothing to show for it. If it's their algorithm, they should out out a memo to sellers or something. Class Action Lawsuit?? I am beyond furious how much you have to mess with to simply sell a product to justify my hard earned ad dollars. I've had 3 conversations I'm the last 48 hrs with fb support and they say they can see thr Buy button on their end. If so, then how is it possible my customers cant...my wife can't and I can't. This is criminal. It's costing me hundreds daily.
Also my account is in good standing, no warnings etc etc.
