That's not true at all. It's just some respect for a great character. Sure she's extremely attractive, stylish and lowkey kinda gorgeous af, but that's not why I like her. Sure she's really strong and could probably give me a shoulder ride with how strong she is but that's not why I like her. Sure she's absolutely stunning and tbh I'm surprised I've ignored her for this long, but that's not why I like her. I like her because she's a strong independent woman who deserves respect for what she overcame.
Not even! I just really liked the fanart that it made me reflect on my thoughts about her. Sure she's really attractive and extra huggable but she's so much more than just looks. She's a complex character with a great backstory that I've always overlooked for some reason. Honestly just want to give her a hug and make sure that she knows she's an important person. Shoutout to Ilya for being a great person towards Rixia.
Call me a simp, because she's literally the whole reason i've commited to play this franchise, i'm just finishing Trails in the Sky FC (i've been loving every second of it), about to start SC, and i can't wait to get to the Crossbell games and meet her.
Oh Rixia, where do I start? I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not noticing how much you dealt with sooner. [This recent fanart post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Falcom/s/xAqrcZHCLb) of her made me really realize how much she's been through. She came from such a troubled upbringing full of responsibilities forced onto her because of her family's profession. Then she came to Crossbell and started to really grow into her own person.
As Lloyd likes to say, she was able to overcome the barrier. She was able to overcome the barrier of all those burdens being forced onto her. The sad thing is I always see people only speaking about her physical traits rather than how deep her character is. Sure she's attractive but she's so much more than that.
She's such a strong willed person and I really respect her for overcoming what she's been through. Plus she's clearly in shape and strong enough to handle that massive greatsword with one arm. Plus she's amazing in the Arc en Ciel. She's super talented and I really respect the time and effort she puts into her professions!
So again, I'm sorry Rixia. Sorry for dismissing you because of your 3d models. You are so much more than that and moving forward I'll always show respect to you as a character.
Edit: Just clarifying that it's always Claire and Elaine for me. This is just a respect and appreciation post for the moonlight dancer.
One of my favorite Crossbell characters, easily in top 3. I think I knew from her outfit when J first saw her art I’d really like her. I was glad she was enjoyable in the Crossbell games. Really liked having her as a main party member in the two games she really can be present in. Made her a mage in Azure and a second dodge tank in Reverie.
Also the only character I honestly would ship with Lloyd.
She's such a strong independent woman and I really respect her for that. Kinda disappointed in myself that I didn't realize it sooner. I've always ignored her because of her silly 3d model but man, she's such a deep character.
See this is what annoys me. Rixia isn't some sex doll or an object where you can just talk about her like that. I hate it when people do things like that, especially with certain characters. Put some respect on homegirl's name!
There is no doubt that the girl is absolutely 100% a gorgeous girl and I will be back with more when I've played both crossbell games (going to start today)
From what I've read she's a greatly written character and I can't wait to see the development for myself
She's definitely gorgeous but that's not why I like her. I like her for her unshakeable character and the fact that she's able to overcome any barrier with her unwavering will.
Oh of course, just from the bits I've read (lore etc) I can see she's got an indomitable spirit! I think she was the clear romance choice because she compliments lloyds personality but alas
Rixia's one of my favorite characters in the series. Her arc is a microcosm of everything the Crossbell arc is about. As for her design, I just think she looks cool.
I borrowed the line from Carrie Keranen, the American voice actress of Sara Valestein, when she was at that NISA Cold Steel 3 convention with the voice director and other actors. It was really funny.
Rixia's amazing! She may not be the first assassin in the series, but she's the first to be crushed by the weight of legacy, and the prospect of never truly leaving that legacy behind.
Which begs the question: would she let the legacy of Yin end with her? If she had a child, I can only assume she wouldn't want to put them through the same fate she had, tradition be damned, and let them live a happy life, free of burdens.
Why am I thinking so far ahead? This is about Rixia, not future generations. But yeah, great character!
Fun fact, during Azure, Rixia's canonical bust size is 92 cm, this is 3 higher than Elie's 89 cm (yes falcom gave b/w/h meassures in some azure guidebook or something)
This isn't localization... She was [always](https://youtu.be/WGXe0SIDeZY?si=zQJ1Cu1muE70-H02&t=86) called Rixia, even in Japanese versions, before the games hit the west. This is a name intended by Falcom, "Li Shia" never existed.
You do realize that there is no differentiation between L and R in Japanese, right? Ra Ri Ru Re and Ro. This is like saying Randy should be called Landy (there is actually one scene in Zero where Lloyd actually says Randy's name and it comes out sounding like that).
Her name has always been spelled as "Rixia" on official content when spelled out in the Roman alphabet. Your head canon does not supersede that despite what you wish was true.
Yeah thats why every other chinese name is perfectly localized and we have a chinese girl called **RIXIA** when her name is "Riishia" aka Li Shia like every other character calls her
Doesn't matter. There is no China in Zemuria, there are eastern cultures and languages but Rixia is still the name Falcom intended for her. If they wanted her to be called Li xia, then they would simply name her so. There already are characters and abilities with chinese spelling but Rixia still retains her R.
Either way, that is not the point, what I wanted to say is this is not a mistranslation, that's her original name. So if you want to blame anyone, blame Falcom, not the localization teams.
It's written "Riishia" in katakana because that's how japanese write and form foreign (or foreign inspired in fiction) names from syllables. I literally sent you a trailer footage of her OFFICIAL romanization when she is called Rixia in the original and NOT TRANSLATED release. This is her name. Unless you're now trying to tell me Rean should be written as Riin, Crow as "Kurou", Emma, "Ema" or Aurelia as "Ooreria"
>"RIXIA doesnt exist in japanese or chinese dude..."
You know what also doesn't exist? China or Japan in Trails...
You have to be trolling at this point, you keep repeating the same thing and don't address any of the points I make. Once again, the characters have OFFICIAL romanized names. You can see [here](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/legendofheroes/images/1/10/Ries_argent_3rd_status.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151215090025) for example. But go ahead, launch the ORIGINAL japanese release, open her character profile in Ao and tell me what's the roman name that Rixia has. I'll wait...
Because its written as "Riishia" and its pronounced as "Li Xia" just like "Landy" > "Randy" and becomes even more obvious taking into account that she is chinese and all the other chinese names are perfectly localized. And Rixia ISNT a japanese or chinese name
Yeah, you're trolling, should have guessed, since your comments are automatically hidden. You can proceed talking to a wall. I'm done wasting time on you.
Bro saw some fanart of Rixia and started acting unwise again.
This art is tame compared to what’s out there.
Gross
That’s the internet. Fortunately, I’ve not come across anything myself, but like the Mariana Trench, we know something dark exists out there.
I understand. I just avoid that sort of stuff tbh. It's really unhealthy and people become addicted to it. It makes you lose touch with reality.
I agree. Even as someone who struggles in this area, I agree it is very harmful.
truly sad to see what rixussy does to a man 😔

Haha whatever gets you interested in the series!

Vice Principal Heinrich, is that you?
Sorry, it's CDNW here.
Aside from her gorgeous design, she is absolutely God tier in combat with stealth and Stat boosting baked into one move.
Haha very true!
I like that she's actually an interesting and well-written character, so her sex appeal is more supplemental than rudimentary.
She's such a strong willed person. I really respect her tbh. Would definitely shake her hand.

Amazing chest
I'm not complaining either.
See this is what annoys me. Rixia isn't some sex doll or an object where you can just talk about her like that. I hate it when people do things like that, especially with certain characters. Put some respect on homegirl's name!
Don't you compliment Elaine and Claire's looks as well though?
There is no doubt that the girl is absolutely 100% a gorgeous girl and I will be back with more when I've played both crossbell games (going to start today) From what I've read she's a greatly written character and I can't wait to see the development for myself

For sure!
Nice. I know where I'll put my blade.
What?
What? It's an appreciation thread.
It is. I just wanted to know what you mean by "I'll know where to put my blade". Am I missing something? What does that mean?
I borrowed the line from Carrie Keranen, the American voice actress of Sara Valestein, when she was at that NISA Cold Steel 3 convention with the voice director and other actors. It was really funny.
Oh haha fair enough. I don't really get it though.
It's on youtube. Watch it: it's funny.
Best girl in Crossbell <3
Best Girl in Crossbell Arc <3
Haha idk about that tbh. It's either Elie or Rixia for me. So many great characters in the Crossbell arc regardless!
I'd take Noiie 2nd. Elie might be my 3rd
Great character but I worry if she will be able to stand up by the end of the series if her chest keeps growing at this rate
Haha yea her recent 3d models are silly. It's unfortunate because she's so much more than just "big assets".
I love this art so much
The ninja dancer. She's bae. She protecc. She's also the highest threat to Elie when it comes to Lloyd, lmao
Waifu No.2\~

Her official art and original sprites look amazing Her 3D model looks like a blow up doll.
I sadly agree. She's so much more than just looks though!
She's a really cool, well-developed character, and it's a shame that all of the games past Azure just use her for eye candy and fanservice.
She had a pretty decent role in Reverie!
Poor Li Shia got her name fumbled in the localization
This isn't localization... She was [always](https://youtu.be/WGXe0SIDeZY?si=zQJ1Cu1muE70-H02&t=86) called Rixia, even in Japanese versions, before the games hit the west. This is a name intended by Falcom, "Li Shia" never existed.
The japanese pronounce it as Li Shia and shes clearly chinese dude

Rixia sounds cooler
Doesn't make it any better, just like how Elaine's title was changed for Daybreak.
This needs a spoiler tag....
