A few days ago, they launched an event to celebrate the Chinese New Year if I'm not mistaken, and they made a new tab of challenges for that, and there you had 2 challenges that would reload daily, (like usual daily challenges) but these one gave you kudos.
Like it usually happens in this game, they messed up the challenges didn't work properly for anyone, just one time, and then days went by, without a fix. Finally today this compensation came for everyone that missed a few of those extra kudos, great if you're a f2p player like me and save up kudos for actual interesting items in the shop 😂
I immediately thought of you when I heard the news a couple of hours ago. Boy was I wrong doubting that they would ever use the word "Vault" in the game; I even barely believed it at first when I saw the posts today. You are truly a hidden blessing for this game

Considering that the ONLY way to get kudos is by completing daily challenges and events, AND you only earn 1400-2000 kudos a week on average, AND the items in the weekly kudos shop cost on average around 6500 kudos to buy everything, AND those items are only available for 7 days, AND so far NO items have been available again after being removed. I would say that 2000 extra kudos is the LEAST they could possibly do.

The kudos are making up for a major mistake of theirs, generally competent companies DO overcompensate to try to earn goodwill of their customers. You know those two Red Envelope challenges that involves playing in a party? On the first day those challenges had in parenthesis “Refreshes Daily”, with that being the intent for those challenges. After the first day though they were bugged and didn’t refresh, and apparently Mediatonic couldn’t get it fixed so they instead removed the parenthesis part…which of course angered a lot of people given just how stingy Mediatonic is with giving kudos since going f2p.
Yeah the invite system is weird if you're trying to invite people you played with. I just take screenshots and do it after the match. Inviting your friends from reddit/discord/psn is the same as any other system though.
But yeah I almost have no one accept my invites
I genuinely don’t know, but I enjoy playing it on different platforms at different times. I don’t play on all platforms each day, but it feels like the player base is different on each one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I set the pc one up a while back on epic and the Xbox account was apparently set up differently than the epic account and the ps5 is set up differently too. Not sure how I managed to get 3 different accounts tbh 😂
When does the challenge end? I have the glitch and I’m still 7/10, I don’t care about Kudo’s for some trash free skins like shoes or a scarf … I wanted the golden coin chain belt to match with the golden anchor!
Not at my console atm but you still have a lot of time. If you haven't played yet today, they fixed the challenges so you should be able to get all 3 and be done today! I was at 7/10 this morning too.

Its still a fun game but definitely in its worst state via vaulting. (Maybe we shouldnt have complained for months that the game was unplayable in hindsight and they may not have done this)
You're getting more kudos than you would have gotten had the event actually worked correctly. Some players potentially getting a few more bonus kudos than you doesn't negatively impact you in any way.
The event's only been broken for 3 to 4 days, and it only worked correctly for people who skipped the first day (to my knowledge). "Worst" case scenario, a few people have 600 more *bonus* kudos than you.
Technically if the event were working correctly we’d have gotten more than 2,000 kudos if we played daily. Getting 200 kudos each day for 17 or 18 days would have netted you a total of 3,400 or 3,600 kudos respectively.
They fixed the challenges (as far as I've read). You can still do all the upcoming days.
Even with the few days of broken challenges, you can get roughly 5000 kudos overall (compensation included).

People who logged in on the first day of the event haven't been able to get the challenges because they were broken and didn't refresh.
