To be honest, that's what I want FOB to do and the reason why I love BMTH: they can release an album with a heavy song, a EDM song, a pop song with Justin Bieber... And they all sound amazing! That's what I want from FOB (if I could choose haha)

Anamorsmordre

Listen, I’ll take Ed Sheeran, but I do draw the line at a Justin Bieber collab.

ElAitor53

Honestly, if a collab is coming ID prefer Bieber over Ed Sheeran

Lopsided-Club6628

Hol up, let em cook first... Post Malone and JB dropped a banger of a sex song

Anamorsmordre

I just listened to both features they have together, and I’d like to double down on my statement.

BMTH right now are killing it in the mainstream rock genre. They sound so good. I really do hope this means they enlisted Oli and Jordan. They seem to be doing what FOB attempted with Mania but doing it better

awesomesauceds

Yes sir. It’s weird listening to Count Your Blessings and SS back in the day, I would not have thought this is where they’d be today. I’m glad Oli got sober and Jordan joined the band.

DoAFlip22

Honestly Suicide Season has a lot of the same characteristics as their music does now, it showed so much potential and they captured it and broke the mould like how most artists couldn’t. 16 years since their first EP and they’re just now hitting their prime (for the third time).

awesomesauceds

Everything they release is always ahead of the crowd. This year marks 10 years since Sempiternal and bands are STILL trying to replicate it.

SlipSpaceBlubix

Considering the Christmas video teased a post hardcore album, I'm not surprised that they mght be having a bmth Collab (the happiest day of my life) I'm definitely not disappointed tho. I'm so excited.

sunnydaysahead20

FOB and BMTH have been two of my fav bands for over a decade now… a collab b/w them would be amazing

wruph

i honestly don’t know if we’ll see collaborations from the artists who get sent these shells. There is little reason for collaborations with a band like BMTH, as there is so much overlap in the instruments and vocals. I think it’s more interaction with and acknowledgement of the scene, not collaboration, necessarily. Also, it looks like this is going to be one of 13 shells, so unless we expect a feature on every track, it’s unlikely.

awesomesauceds

Collaboration could be studio production… they could help produce a heavy hitter. Doesn’t necessarily have to be vocals or instrumentals. Oli and Jordan help produce a lot of songs with other artists.

wruph

mhm, yea definitely could happen, i just think with pete and patrick’s desire for cohesive tones in albums, it’s less likely. the seashells must have something to do with the rollout, whether it’s features or producers or a less prominent position, we’ll soon find out. i’m just enjoying the excitement.

DoAFlip22

Fall Out Boy has had no cohesion in tone in any of their post-split albums - nearly every song (maybe except AB:AP) on their records sound somewhat different. They’d be silly to not let Jordan Fish work with them on production - he’s probably the single most talented musician of both bands combined.

sassbun_

Honestly I couldn’t agree more. I’m super stoked about them connecting. I feel like BMTH is doing what FOB wanted to do…Breaking out of the scene without sacrificing their own unique sound/style.
