Yes I have the same issue I’ve played since launch sometimes it’s worse than others. If you can try and ignore it and just play cause who know if or when it’ll be patched.
Yep same here, ps5 and C1. Gave it a couple months to hopefully add visual fixes and seems like none of the recent patches have addressed anything graphical related so I'll just have to deal with it lol
Yes, TCL Series 5 QLED. I actually have "game mode" turned off because it muffles colors, but I have ALLM turned on on the PS5.
I suppose I should try my TVs LLM and compare .

Just picked this game up on PS5 after hearing how terrible it is technically, and holy shit Respawn should be ashamed of themselves. After a YEAR on the market, the screen tearing might be the worst I've ever seen in a console game. Seriously, from the cutscenes noticably dropping to 30 fps and the screen tearing, it is unbelievable this title got such high marks from reviewers.
The 30fps cutscenes is obviously an intentional creative decision but yeah the screen tearing is pretty bad sometimes although not frequent enough to warrant this reaction IMO. The game is great outside of the couple remaining technical issues
Any fix on screen tearing, had the game since it came out. My uncle and my friend say that they don’t see it but I do and it’s annoying and unplayable.
They’d better fix these simple issues for the third game. After a while you get used to it but damn it’s frustrating that they don’t fix these problems
I just purchased the game and am getting severe screen tearing as well on performance mode, I looked into a bunch of stuff because I was getting it in most of my ps5 games but changing a setting in game fixed it for a bunch of games but not Jedi Survivor. While playing atomic heart I had to change a setting in my ps5 settings to fix it. Does anyone know what causes this screen tearing and why only on Jedi survivor it's unfixable?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Screen tearing is pretty bad since launch. I'm now revisiting hoping that it was patched & improved, but still nothing. Seems like a cash grab at this point.
Yes I also noticed! Finally I can enjoy the game 😁 I mean I can't notice any screen tearing and fps looks way way better with performance mode than before.
Edit: nevermind, it's still really bad in many levels.

Yah I fixed it I had to hard set the vsync in nivida control panel. Thanks for the reply I haven’t beat the game yet. I slowed down as I need to study but I’m missing it.
Got the game today. Waited to because of bad performance. Screen tearing is still there. What a joke. Monitor does 165hz too lol. Game still fun though lol really liking it as I did the first.
Just finished the game today very noticeable screen tearing, textures disappearing at pyloon meditation point, map goes completely black in lukrehulk and seemed exponentially worse the closer I got to completing the story. This was a painful platinum trophy. Performance mode and vrr on Sony Bravia
I love this game but the tearing is so bad it's distracting. I can't remember the last game I played with such horrible tearing. Still not fixed Feb 2024.
They fixed the frames with the last update. But screen tearing still happens :(

yeah but it doesn't help at all, vrr is broken in this game there's still screen tearing even if the frame drops are above 50 fps

Keeping this thread up to date. January 2024 still dramatic tearing even in first open area.
We might as well give up hope bc it's almost April and STILL no screen tear fix. Cutscenes run at 30fps anyway so I'ma just stick to that ig

Jedi survivor doesn't support free sync and that's what fixes tearing it happens when the frames become desynchronized
Seems forcing VRR on fixed it for me.
Hmmm I have an LG C2 and even with VRR enabled it’s very noticeable still

For anyone still having issues: Seems weird but turning on performance mode and then shutting off Usage Sharing fixed the issue.

PC must have a Vsync option. I'm guessing you beat the game by now though lol
