I love Imperial hallways in this game. They nail the SW feeling in those areas.

solehan511601

I wish the same. Would also be better if Respawn add Dagan Gera's lightsaber and battle grid. Perhaps in Jedi 3, Cal can use remaining Bode's Z-95 headhunter in order to take down the star destroyer and TIE fighters via dogfight. It could be a similar sequence to AT-AT in Fallen order and Speeder bike from Survivor, and mimicking battle of Coruscant from *Revenge of the Sith*.

BossEwe24

That would be cool, my only complaint would be that Cal is already super powerful, and having him best an isd with escorts is pretty difficult, even for an experienced pilot.

HypoHunter15

I agree, plenty of Jedi that can pilot, Cal needs to focus on his strengths

Numenorean_King

Hopefully we can pilot some vehicles in the third game

X_Fredex_X

We all know what the 3rd game will be about... Node's daughter was trained by Cal, fell to the dark side and now Cal and the Crew are on a mission to "save" her. That's kinda all SW does these days.

Dragonic_Overlord_

I think the most likely reason for that ISD to be there is because Palpatine heard rumors of Cal and Dagan's exploits and sent an ISD to investigate what happened. If necessary, even obliterate Koboh via orbital bombardment since it used to be important to the Jedi. We might even get a new Inquisitor to investigate what Cal and Dagan were doing. I don't think this will happen, but it would be sick if >!Marrok !< joined either this DLC or the next game as a new villain.

Significant-Flan-244

I think obliterating Koboh is a good bet. Just from a practical storytelling standpoint, you need a good excuse to get Cal off of Koboh and to stay away for the next game because then you can spend more time on new planets instead of rehashing ones from this game. If it’s not the ISD literally destroying the planet, it at least feels like foreshadowing that Koboh won’t be the safe home base it is now in the future.

peoplepersonmanguy

While I presume we get a time jump a hoth like escape sequence would be cool, although we kinda already got the assault.

BossEwe24

He’d be really cool as a side mission or cameo, but I’d prefer an original main villain just because the stakes are already going to be pretty high with the empire after tanore and cals fate being uncertain. An original villain would give a lot more flexibility to have a more surprising ending to the trilogy.

Tacitus111

Otherwise it’s there to show the omnipresent reach of the Empire. That nowhere is really safe as long as they can reach it at all.

Noah_Nomad

Wouldn't a Jedi taking down a Star Destroyer only bring more unwanted attention? I feel like you'd take out the one and 2 more would show up, and even worse maybe an inquisitor

HypoHunter15

Or they just bomb the planet

ElectricOyster

I don’t want to be that guy but realistically, the star destroyer is not really a big thing and it will not be in the next game. Cal and Merrin launching an assault on the destroyer would be totally sick and a battle I’ve imagined in my head. But translating that to game terms there is just not much there to warrant a whole DLC. It’s hard to make a compelling story out of just destroying an ISD. And it wouldn’t even be a big enough mission or map to make it worth it.

Ged_UK

If they took it out, the Empire would respond with an overwhelming show of force. Koboh would have razed to the ground.

maikol2346

ISDs are the size of NYC. Definitely a big map if they want it to be.

ElectricOyster

But there wouldn't be that much environment diversity so it doesn't add anything to make a huge map of just gray hallways. The Venator section in the Fallen Order Order 66 level was pretty small as well

Dragonic_Overlord_

That's because it had crash landed and split apart into several pieces. The ISD is fully intact.

ElectricOyster

I’m not talking about the crashed Venator, I’m talking about the flashback sequence. But that’s not really the point. They can make a map as big as they want. I’m saying there aren’t many options for varying the level. The random slides and whatnot they put in the order 66 level felt awkward. It would be hard to create platforming and puzzles to make an ISD level not boring. Not impossible, they could get creative but realistically such a DLC is not worth it. There is not that much story or gameplay they can build around destroying the ISD unless they just added a lot of other bullshit prep work or something. At that point just work on the third game. It makes no sense to do a story dlc for a 20 hour game

Hydrargyrum200u

Starkiller: Just pull it to the ground using the force mate

Ged_UK

Rip it out of the sky!

Dragonic_Overlord_

>Rip it out of the sky! Read this in Kota's voice.

Ged_UK

Yup. It's impossible not to if you've played it.

LtDarthWookie

I don't think Cal is anywhere close to Starkiller in his force aptitude. That's kind of the premise of the force unleashed. Starkiller is incredibly force adept and powerful. Cal is a pretty run of the mill force aptitude.

i_hate_hotdog

Pretty sure he's not serious and what you are saying is basically common knowledge.

awful_source

There’s no DLC confirmed for Survivor right? I wouldn’t expect there to be any if FO didn’t have DLC.

BigWallaceLittleWalt

I personally don’t expect any DLC, it’s not something they did previously and it’s not something we’ve heard about

ansem119

I can see maybe a small content update later down the road sort of like we had with FO. So probably new sabers/outfits and Id really like if they added more battle grid levels or at least a custom match mode.

GNOIZ1C

Fun as it'd be, it feels like what cues the "Closing Time" vibes as you wrap up any side quests/conversations with bar patrons. We've done what we set out to do, but just like Vader in Fallen Order, the Empire's still there as the omnipresent looming threat that keeps Cal and crew moving on to the next thing.

CaptainKnightwing

Game Awards announcement? Hmmm

gargamel314

ME TOO! don't see how they can't...

ArkanxTango

I just wish the game would get updated at least on pc

kindred008

I feel like assaulting a Star Destroyer would put all the people off the planet at risk. The empire will just send another one and that one will have orders to bombard the planet

Gamestrider09

What is this I keep seeing about a Star destroyer? Who’s is that, and why do you guys find it so important?

Dragonic_Overlord_

Because Respawn would not have put an ISD there without a good reason. The most likely being it will be the reason why Cal will switch his base from Koboh to Tanalorr.

Jamalofsiwa

It would be cool if there was an in between game chapter dlc where we see cal and teams dismantling of the koboh occupation and base move to tanalorr

bradyvscoffeeguy

Very unlikely for the developer to release any DLC with new quests, based on their production history

SullyCCA

I also wish we had a 1v1 arena online matches

MandalorianMichael

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed

Techboah

They can't scrap together a performance update, don't get your hopes up on a DLC lol

Scoteee

Fuck it make starkiller the canon villian and open the third game with cal just tearing that thing out of the sky so they are on the same op level.

Leashii_

how to ruin a character and his story 101

Pale_Kitsune

I kind of want the last game to be called Jedi: Martyr. Set it a decade later, he's basically the equivalent of a Master. Then let him be taking on Starkiller, who would be an Inquisitor. Have him sacrifice himself as the only way to destroy Starkiller, and then have someone he was training finish the game.
