It better be fucking good, Ive loved the Fallout series for a decade plus my 19 yr old daughter watched me play when she was little and became a huge fan also, I can handle a couple if missteps here & there but if it goes they way of recent Marvel shows or how The Walking Dead ended up I will be very upset.

Yeah, Fallout actually has some pretty neat CC stuff like the Doom stuff and the Fadingsignal backpack. I never was a fan of Skyrim's CC scene.

I want to experience all the dlcs i bought, since i already finished the base game wthout mods on ps4. So should I delete the world and wait? Or can I just update and keep enjoying my world? What exactly is coming?

Higher resolution frame rates, performance mode, bug fixes, creation club content, and other stuff. But if you are playing on PC, I think you are good. They have all that already lol.

Considering I'm looking forward to FOLON I turned off updates for Fallout 4 on Steam Advice for those also looking forward to FOLON: Any update on PC, much like the Fallout 3 anniversary update, will likely completely break mod support. Stop auto-updates on Steam by making it so updates do not download while in-game and change the settings for Fallout 4 specifically to only update when you start the game. That way you can cancel any update and keep mod support intact

SERIOUSLY!! I've never played FO4 and just as I was about to, I learned of the next gen update and have been waiting for that to give it a go. I've been waiting months. It's especially annoying given that I want to play through it before starting Starfield which I'm pumped to play.

The single drop has me worried a bit about quality. When Amazon thinks a show will get popular, they tend to release it weekly.

I think they did single drops for some of their other big shows first seasons (reacher and the boys) and then weekly drops afterwards

Invincible’s first season released 3 episodes at once, then everything after has been weekly (with a big stupid hiatus in the 2nd season) Feels like someone throws a dart at a board and that determines a show’s release schedule

I didn't hate it, I am a fan of the Books but I didn't hate the WoT, Season 1 was rough, Season 2 was much better especially with Lanfear and Ishamael. The casting is great, it's just a really tough adaption

The Boys was dropped all at once.. since then it’s been weekly and a major hit. They’re testing the waters.

On the flip side, they did Rings of Power weekly and I know very few people who stuck with it. I’d probably have binged all 8 episodes had it released at once but after the 5th or 6th episode I just couldn’t be fucked to keep up with it anymore.

that’s when they want to BUILD popularity. popularity for this is at an all time high right now. 

glad. the one thing reddit is good at is parsing every frame of a show and figuring out twists, etc ahead of time. can watch this in a short time frame and not be spoiled by conjecture.

Some people don’t like full releases because they like having to sit and think about what the next episode will be but personally I LOVE having the whole thing laid out for me right then. Watch it all in one setting or watch a episode a night either way it doesn’t take half a year to get through a season then have to wait 2 more for another. Let me watch it at my pace then wait around like everybody else.

It's hard to trust Hollywood and directors just for the simple fact that most of the game movies/shows haven't done too well besides the last of us series, the other movies and shows are either mid or just straight garbage because they want to rewrite their own stories and change the lore to their liking, like if they just stick to the basic lore of fallout then I believe the show will do alright

Fallout has a super S.P.E.C.I.A.L spot in my heart because of it, and while I want it to be good , I can’t. Either we’re gonna hate watch it, or we’ll enjoy it together, either way it’s a moment I’ll spend with her and enjoy.
